First class service and first class food. Starters, main course and wine were exceptionally good. And excellent value for money. I wish we lived closer to Bournemouth. Would visit often

We booked this place for a date evening,we where welcomed by the waiter who was understaffed but helpful and upbeat,I ordered a pepperoni pizza but asked for it to be made calzone he said I will ask the chef but should be fine,10 minutes later a calzone appeared and had mushrooms inside it which I cannot eat,I told the waiter and he was very apologetic as he didn’t know why there where mushrooms in,5 minutes later I received a normal pizza I questioned this and said why is it not calzone to be told the chef wouldn’t do it as only 1 chef,im not sure by he couldn’t do it as he already done it wrong once before and refused too,tbf I told them I wasn’t paying for the pizza and I got a free morreti, I Luke to go back ally of hype around this place.

Fantastico best Italian by day In Bournemouth. Staff and owners are fabulous, the food is fantastic. Highly recommend to family, friends couples and business. Ding miss out in this real Italian gem.

Visited on Saturday evening 2nd April. Calzone pizza was amazing!!! All the Staff were friendly and attentative. Restaurant was lovely and clean. I wouldn`t hesitate to visit again next time I`m in Bournemouth.

Everything we had was delicious and there was a real sense of welcome. We would definitely go again if we are ever in the area. We tried the pizza and the pasta and both were basically faultless!

We came across this restaurant whilst walking around looking for a place to eat. From the moment we entered the premises we was treated excellently by the staff. Drinks were quick to come and we took our time looking through the menu and ordering, the food was delivered promptly and hot. Very very good food, I had lasagne, and others in the party had the pasta or a pizza. The dessert was to die for, we all had lotus cheesecake which is highly recommended. With drinks the total price for starter, mains, desserts under £100 which for four of us we thought was brilliant. Will definitely be back when we come to Bournemouth next.

There new premises is fresh and clean, and there menu has a great section, my little boy and my mother loves coming here, and edd makes us all feel very welcome. If your looking for somewhere welcoming and friendly then look no further.

A new premises, modern fresh decor and very clean. The next thing you notice is that everyone is a regular and greeted by their first names. We went twice this week for lunch. The pizza was light, thin base cooked to perfection with no soggy or burnt bottom (my absolute pet hates). The tomato sauce was so tasty and all the ingredients high quality. I had the carbonara (as recommended in reviews) it was divine, rich, creamy and eggy in the most perfect way and my husband had the lasagne which was good too - I didn't get a look in!!

Me and my parents went for dinner here. We were seated right away and received great service all night. There was a great variety on the menu to choose from so no one had any problems finding anything to their liking. The food was fresh and delicious and the tiramisu was a dream. Can’t wait to visit again

Loved this restaurant in it's old premises and was devastated to see it had shut down. It was always our primary reason for dropping into Bournemouth to enjoy a superb lunch. So absolutely over the moon to have visited DelMarco today in it's new, bright larger premises in Albert Road (love the wall tiles in the toilet). Hurrah! Welcome back. As always excellent food, brilliant, friendly staff. Looking forward to many more delicious food.

We visited twice during a recent trip to Bournemouth. We were made very welcome by Ed whilst Kas was in charge of the food. Light thin dough with plenty of topping on the pizzas and plenty of sauce on the pasta. Excellent value for money and great to be able to support an independent instead of a chain.

El tablero A me llamó la atención y ciertamente no me arrepiento de haber venido para la oferta de la hora del almuerzo. Base de pizza crujiente perfecta con la cobertura perfecta de tomate, mozzarella y champiñones. Una fuerte arabiatta, pimiento picante y salsa de tomate con ajo y una generosa ración de parmesano. Attended for a large family meal. Every dish was lovely and full of flavour. The staff were lovely. For the amount of food we got it was a greet price. Would highly recommend visiting.

Yet another very enjoyable visit to Del Marco. Very friendly service, lovely food, well prepared and presented, and superb value for money. Have been here many times with the family and enjoyed every visit. My only comment, if I had to make one, was that it should be open in the evenings so we could visit of a night time. But other than that, I strongly recommend you avoid the High Street offerings and visit this lovely Italian style restaurnat and you too will keep wanting to come back...

Abbiamo preso due pizza Margherita, visto che era la prima volta che ci andavamo appositamente per mangiare una pizza. Una delle migliori pizze a Bournemouth. Non è la classica pizza italiana alta e morbida ma è sottile, non croccante, e leggera. Di sicuro non potevamo pretendere di mangiare una pizza "originale" napoletana, ma non è stata una delusione. Alcune pietanze del menù non sono per nulla italiane, ma vabbè saranno per la clientela "non italiana". Di sicuro ci ritorneremo per assaggiare gli antipasti.

One of our favourite lunchtime restaurants, we visit regularly and have always left satisfied. The service is efficient and very welcoming. The main lunchtime menu of pasta and pizza is a bargain, two meals with soft drinks under £14 can't be beat, both good quality and very tasty. It's also nice for an afternoon tea and cake, with a selection of chocolate, coffee and walnut etc, also very reasonably priced. It has a continental cafe style atmosphere with posters of Italy as well as the ubiquitous AFC Bournemouth scarf! One thing to note is it's cash only, no cards but with these prices it's not a problem!

Good Italian food, fantastic cakes, great for lunch after shopping, good location just around the corner from the Square and all major shops, good value, friendly helpful staff. Recommended.

Yo, mi esposa y mi hija de 1 año y medio tuvimos un muy buen almuerzo básico: pizza de pepperoni para mi esposa y penne pepperonata pasta para mí y nuestra hija tenía algunos de los dos. Tuve un pequeño café con leche y mi esposa tenía una lata de coca cola con su pizza, ya que era parte de su rango de almuerzo.

Encontré este pequeño restaurante en la calle principal. Gran servicio. Tomé un té y una cerveza con un delicioso pollo y un panini de queso y pimientos asados. Bill llegó a aproximadamente 15, el restaurante no acepta tarjetas. Muy deliciosa. También encantadoras tartas y pasteles. Vale la pena una visita.

We use Del Marco on a regular basis meeting up with friends. We usually go for lunch and opt for the set menu. This is a choice of 3 pasta dishes or 3 different pizzas and a soft drink for £6.90. Their pizzas are fabulous and on a thin base. They also have an alcohol license. You can also go just for a coffee or coffee and pastry.

Went there today with family and friends, I have never tried a better pizza in whole of Bournemouth, everything was so perfect the dough perfectly cooked amazing toppings fresh tomato sauce , will definitely go back any day of the week absolutely amazing well done Del Marcos

Regularmente del Marco para su oferta de almuerzo. Pasta y pizza fantástica, muy bien de precio. El personal es siempre muy servicial y te hacen sentir muy acogedor. Continuaré visitando del Marco. Lo único que diría es que dinero en efectivo porque no aceptan tarjetas; si no puedes caminar por la ciudad rápidamente y conseguir el efectivo y volver al restaurante.

Whole family popped in for lunch today after recommendation from a friend. We certainly weren’t disappointed. Really friendly service with fantastic pizza and pasta. All very reasonably priced at £6.90 for meal and drink per person in the express lunch deal 👍 would definitely recommend

We found Del Marco whilst walking around the shopping streets of Bournemouth in search of somewhere that serves a simple light lunch. On spotting the restaurant it looked exactly what we needed.

This friendly coffee bar has a relaxing interior and serves lovely coffee. I wasn’t hungry but the food looked OK. It’s a bit off pitch but worth the extra few yards to get away from the usual coffee chains.

Todos optamos por la pizza, te dan la opción de Margarita, Pepperoni, o de hongos. Las pizzas son recién preparados y cocinados rápidamente en su horno de pizza. Pedí chili en mina y sin cargo extra, a diferencia de la mayoría de los restaurantes de pizza de cadena. Incluso comprado chili de aceite para mí, por si acaso. . . .

He estado dos veces en rápida sucesión y ambas ocasiones ha sido fantástico. El personal ha sido atento y la calidad de la comida excelente. This is a really nice independent, serving great Italian sandwiches, panini's, pasta and good pizza. The lunch deal is fantastic and the staff have been consistently friendly and attentive for the many years I have been frequenting it. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and clientele ranging from business people to language students. I always take clients here for a business lunch and they always come out smiling. Highly recommended :)

We have eaten here several times and each time the food has been amazing, Pasta Al Fredo is my favourite here, top quality chicken with fresh pasta, clean toilets and floor and good spacing between tables etc.We eat here often because of the high quality.

Sometimes I eat here on my own, sometimes with a couple of friends, but this time there were TEN of us. As usual, the owner and staff were friendly and helpful, the range of food eaten by the group was fabulous (my vegetarian pizza is the best in town) and there was no problem with one person only having coffee, and one person arriving late and only having dessert. The prices are good and those who hadn't eaten here before were very impressed. We haven't found anywhere locally yet with better pizzas.

The last time i had pizza this good was in Rome excellent first class authentic pizza like you'd get in Italy a lovely dough base not at all like the cardboard bases served by the large chains and tasty simple toppings just like proper Italian pizza should be excellent value and a first class service would highly recommend for groups of friends or family treats the express lunch is great value but also the standard priced pizza is great value at roughly £8 each well worth a visit.

We visited Del Marcos with a couple of dedicated lunchtime regulars. The restaurant is small but perfectly formed, the staff were very friendly and service was well paced. Opting for the excellent value lunch special, the choice was understandably limited but, the food was very decent. The pizzas were very good and the Bolognese was plentiful and tasty. I'm not sure there was anything outstanding enough for us to make the trip from Christchurch for a night out but, when in Bournemouth, we will definitely lunch again.Next time we will go beyond the specials and give Del Marcos a chance to shine. Watch this space. For now, a very solid lunch stop option.

Went there for a friend's birthday dinner. We were welcomed by well presented staff members. Waited a bit for a table, but that to be expected because is a busy restaurant and not so big. The food was good. I will say best Italian I had by far, way better than zizi and prezzo!!! Well recommended. The desert is to die for.Well recommended .

We had our lunch here. Pizza and a drink for 6.90. It was perfect. Service was very quick and very attentively. A recommandation from us is well deserved.

Nothing wrong with the place, but nothing to make it stand out either. My husband enjoyed his penne arrabiata, my jacket potato was microwaved, and just looked bland on the plate. Tasted ok. Service was good with pleasant waitresses. Cost on average for area.

We come to this place at least once a week for lunch! My 4 year old daughter loves the place and the food, so do we. Cannot believe someone could say the food is not good! That's just wrong!!! The staff is great, the chef is great, the owners are hard workers, and it's really affordable to have lunch there! We love it, cannot fault them in anyway! Well done guys ;)

My boyfriend and I went here for lunch when we came across it during a shopping day, I had the penne aribiatta and he had the cabonara. The service was wonderful as was the food! Friendly staff who can't do enough for you, the aribiatta was a little to spicy for me but was still delicious, and the cabonara was beautifully creamy. Will definitely go again to try their coffee and cake :)

Good place to go for coffee any time of day and the lunchtime menu is nice quality and good value. The current lunchtime meal deal includes a choice of pasta dishes or pizzas.

Visited here for lunch we had chicken panini and the pasta arabica, with two coffees.The chicken was dry and the pasta was a little hard, the coffee was bitter and we could not pay by card as they were changing banks, so it was cash only.Disappointing.

The lunch menu is wonderful value and the food is very good. It also does possibly the best espresso in Bournemouth. The owners are very personable and make you feel very welcome.

Love to come in or takeaway a quick coffee. Lunch is fab and cheap too with only a few special deal options, but very very tasty nonetheless!

I thought I would give Del Marco a try for their £5.99 lunch time meal and soft drink offer. I hadn't seen the place before so really didnt know what to expect. On entering the place we were greeted by a very cheerful member of staff who showed us to our table. I dont think it is a chain so was really refreshing to visit somewhere that didnt have the standard corporate chain decor. So on to the meal. I was expecting perhaps a large slice of Pizza with my drink (Tango). I was really suprised to get a complete mushroom pizza. I must confess to being an absolute Pizza addict and have tried them across the world. I can honestly say this was right up there with the best, lovely base, superb toppings and the chili oil I added made it perfect. My partner had coffee and coffee cake which she said was lovely, I cant comment as I was offered none! Well don Del Marco, I look forward to my next visit.

We went for the £5.95 express lunch on a Saturday. We both had a pasta dish which was served quickly, good sized portions and included a drink. Couldn't fault it really!

Just, the best Italian restaurant in all Britain, the food is outstanding, cheap prices and a great service, I used to go there quite often for having lunch and I never regretted it, even my Italian fiends themselves say it is the best, surely one of the best places for going in Bournemouth.

I have coffee here daily and lunch once a week. The service is good and friendly, the pizza / pasta lunch deal is excellent and the location great. The place is warm and friendly and somewhere I look forward to visiting.

Reviews were good so three of us went for lunch and were very disappointed. One had pasta which was thick with cream and cheap parmesan, which she left. Two of us had jacket potatoes which were microwaved and clearly not oven baked as advertised. Cheap coleslaw. Waitress was not interested in feedback. Awful and will not return

I am Italian and I have found in this place the same quality for pasta and pizza that I would find in Italy. I was indeed impressed. I went there with a group of 15 friends. We were able to reserve beforehand and the manager did his best to fit us comfortably despite the small size of the restaurant. The prices are really affordable and the service very attentive and timely even despite the size of our group! Will definitely come back
