RISTORANTE BAROLO in Bournemouth

I have been coming to Barolos for many years and they never fail to disappoint with any aspect of your time there. The service is outstanding and the food matches the service, which is made better on a special occasion where the staff will sing to you!

I have been to barolos many times and returned recently for a special occasion. We had not been in a while. We all ordered pasta and it seemed as if the dishes were microwaved. Food was BOILING hot, just like it would be if you cremated it in a microwave. Hot in the middle cooler on the outside. The food itself isnt awful but its just very dissapointing considering this used to be a great restaurant. Alongside this is the price! If it wasnt so extortianate it would help but i just dont think £15-20 for a pasta dish that is microwaved is reasonable. Dissapointing

Best Restorante in Bournemouth by far.

It's such a lovely place. Will definitely go again and again and again. The food was as if we were in Italy! Flavourful, colorful, and delicious. Service great, they really take care of clients. The host was genuine and kind.

We ate here on a Sunday afternoon. The food was amazing, really tasty and freshly prepared. The main man was so entertaining, and even sang happy birthday to our 20 year old son for maximum embarrassment - it was fantastic. We will definitely go back soon.

Barolo is my favourite restaurant ever!! The staff are lovely and the food is AMAZING. Also very hygienic and immaculate lavatories.

All the staff were amazing. Food was brilliant and atmosphere was lovely. Coloured lights over the place, nice forestry wall. Italian land marks dotted around the place. Very big menu, lots to chose from.

We took our neighbor lady out for her 80th birthday, it was her first time eating at an Italian restaurant. The food was amazing and the staff was so wonderful, going out of their way to make her birthday an unforgettable one! 10 out of 10 recommend this place! Always a favourite. Been coming here regularly over the last 20 years and consider it to be one of the best restaurants in Bournemouth. Exceptional food and the staff can't do anough for you , great service

Busy restaurant, was shown to our table quickly and drinks arrived promptly My husband and had garlic bread to share , it was literally toasted thick sliced bread with garlic rubbed on. We both ordered pizzas and they looked and tasted like they were frozen , not freshly made ! Reasonably priced but disappointed so wont be returning

I dont have many 'go to' restaurants, but having visited this one for more than 25 years, Barolo in Winton is still an absolute 'must' when we visit Bournemouth. The food, staff and atmosphere never ever disappoint. Its an absolute joy to eat here! Thank you!

Great service from charming staff. After I ordered, it turned out my steak had sold out, so they upgraded it for free. Food is five stars when judged in the mid-tier price range. My steak was perfectly cooked, and everything else was decent or very nice. No complaints.

We came for a 70th birthday. 13 of us, food was delicious, great service. Every staff member sung happy birthday to the birthday girl. Lovely decor, everything was clean. Will be returning.

Absolutely fantastic place to eat .. the food is so good and the staff are so wonderful.

Booked a table for me and my friends to celebrate my 30th birthday and my first night out as a new mum! We were a bit nervous as we know it is a very nice and sophisticated environment and we were in fancy dress, but thankfully none of the staff made us feel the slightest bit awkward! We were greeted warmly and the service was quick and efficient. There was no long wait for our food at all, which is amazing considering how delicious the food is. Two of us had risotto dishes, one the spinach cannelloni and the other a pizza and we all loved our food. The portion sizes are great as so many places now a days give you such small portions for the price but this is good value for money! We also had a bottle of the house white which was very nice. To top it all off, they brought out some cake and sang to me for my birthday. It was absolutely delicious with chocolate shavings, sauce, strawberries and cream. Can’t wait to book here again!

Visited Ristorante Barolo for my stepdad’s 60th birthday and had the most amazing time. The service, food and atmosphere was 10/10. They made us all feel so special and the happy birthday song was lovely. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the area and great for families too. Fantastic food and great service

Service was great. Great atmosphere too…. Take away the bottle of wine, I ordered £90 worth of food. Prawns and avocado was as if it had been opened from a packet and dumped on a plate. No flavor. Mushrooms in sauce, again, so bland… I spent £40 on a fillet steak and sides… band average to say the least. Not normally one to leave bad reviews but felt I got let down massively here.

we were visiting for a few nights from wales and booked here because of the reviews, we loved it so much we cancelled our other booking later in the week and came back! beautiful food and amazing service! the staff could not be friendlier and more accommodating!!

A family meal , we all had pizza , vey tasteless, skimped on the ingredients, Service poor, forgot the olives,, brought them with meal.

Very impressed with the quality and speed of service and the food is great. Prices are inthe mid-range and the selection is vast and there is something there for everyone. The staff and management go that little extra to make your experience memorable, but the noise of this crowded restaurant does detract from your enjoyment of the experience. A few sound absorbing panels would be of great benefit.

We found this restaurant by chance and what a find!! The food (Tiger prawns, garlic mushrooms, pizza and a chicken pasta dish) were delicious, couldn't fault it. We had 2 waitresses serve us, Andrea and I didn't get the name of the other lady but they were superb, very attentive and pleasant. We were actually asked if we were ready for our main course, we have never been asked this before! Our normal experience is the starter being whipped away and the mains plonked in front of you and it's always a rush to get you out, but not here, there was no pressure to eat up quickly. Nice atmosphere, can't wait to go back, would recommend 100%. Very reasonable costs considering the excellent food and service. Thank you all very much.

Just got a takeaway delivered and it was all pretty poor compared with last time Pasta dish was bland and pizzas were just not nice chips were horrible and chewy

Food was tastless and extremely oily. Service was good. Atmosphere not appropriate for a restaurant- too loud and too dark-gives vibe of a bar. Could not even hear my partner sitting in front of me because all the tables are put so close to each other.

A very busy established restaurant in the heart of Winton. Very much caters for celebratory events as it has aot of space inside, some seating on the pavement outside too. Food is good, service too and staff are friendly.

A very friendly welcome by waitress then taken to our table. The menu was quite comprehensive so took us a little time to make up our minds. When we were ready we were served without the usual wait. We ordered seafood dishes which were so tasty and went down well with a recommended wine from the patron Sam. Spoiled for choice with the desert . Superb service throughout, great atmosphere overall which combined to make our evening a happy occasion. This is a rather special place and well worth giving it a try.

Honestly, one of my top 3 places to eat in Bournemouth.. A small family run restaurant that we've never had a bad meal from.. ever! The staff are all really welcoming, the menu is wide, the food is always sublime, the larger is crisp & birthdays are a real Treat at Barolo's! And if you don't fancy getting dressed up to go out to eat, they do take away and in-house delivery via phone or their website. Can't recommend them enough 👌🏼

I felt compelled to write this review after having such a superb dinner experience last night at Barolo's. I ate with some friends and we were all equally impressed. The food was high quality and the food and drink served with finesse by the waiting staff. I don't normally really notice service levels but the staff in this place really do know how to look after guests, we all said how polite and focused on our experience they were. The entire venue, including the toilets, is immaculate, spotlessly clean. For birthdays the staff sing a Tony from Lady and the Tramp style Happy Birthday which adds a sense of occasion even when it's other people's birthday!! I would strongly recommend this restaurant.

Nice Italian restaurant with a good selection of drinks ans great food. We visited for lunch on a Friday which was very quiet.

We love this place. Live in Plymouth, but every time we visit Bournemouth Barolo is a must. Lasagne is as good as it gets. Steaks succulent. Service top notch (sooo friendly and accommodating). Restaurant and toilets immaculate. Repeat … we LOVE this place .. and you will too !!!

We have been here on 4 occasions. Went here on my birthday in December and has always, the food was just divine. Lasagne was perfectly cooked, and the size of the portions is always large, the chicken dishes are really something else, and the way they but together makes them look like peace of art.service very attentive, always asking and checking, making sure you're enjoying the experience.
