Puro Gusto in Bournemouth

We tried this restaurant after walking past a couple of times recently, and we are so glad we did! We were seated whilst the restaurant was fairly quiet, and were pleased to find homemade pastas that were a little different to most average Italian restaurants, we had spaghetti with clams, perfect pasta with huge clams, seasoned beautifully, and truffle tagliatelle served at the table in a Parmesan wheel, which was quite possibly the nicest thing I have eaten in a long time! Perfect portion sizes and small but very decent wine list. We also tried the homemade tiramisu which was fantastic too! Service was friendly even though the young lady serving us was on her own with 20+ customers! We will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends! Thanks for a lovely evening!

People of Bournemouth, do you realize that you have probably the best Italian seafood restaurant in the country. When we visited, my wife and I were so impressed that we went back two days later, and we were not the only people who liked the food and the service. We heard other diners comments like Wow, superb, amazing, but dont take our word for it, try it for yourself and you wont be disappointed.

Wow. Gorgeous authentic food. Had the burrata caprese starter, ragu pappardelle and the truffle pasta served in the cheese wheel. All was 10/10. Would 100% recommend coming if in Bournemouth. The decor is simple but the staff are so attentive, friendly and helpful and food is so so good. Best Italian I’ve had since visiting amalfi coast.

First class restaurant and highly recommended. This was our first time there and the food and staff were amazing!! Within our party, we had everything from Pasta, steak and fish, all of which were incredible. If you love authentic Italian food, please visit this restaurant. Thank you to the owner / chef and the staff for a fantastic evening, we will definitely be back. Gary
