The best restaurants serving Italian food in South West

After over a decade of visiting Minehead we were recommended to try this restaurant. I am delighted to say it was well worth it. Delightful home feel and decor, this small restaurant and its owner Cristina make you feel the centre of attention as their guest. Beautifully prepared home cooked food from my main of pollo parmy and rigatoni to dessert of tiramisu, all washed down with a Victoria Beer. Can’t wait to visit again when we’re back in May 2025.

A nice looking place - super clean and very well decorated Menu is extensive and ideal for a quick meal or just a hot drink. Only negative is the choice of music! This makes it a difficult place to stay for long if you do not appreciate One Love (original mix). This is club music. Mindless thumping beat and weird sounds sometimes repeated wailing noises. Asked the staff to find different music. Seems not possible. Shame really. That type of music is not to everyone’s taste. If you are the staff and into clubbing it would be fine. But the staff are not the one’s to choose the music!

We arrived on a rainy Monday night after a wet and weary walk from Weston. We were given a warm welcome and the pizzas were absolutely awesome. We'd definitely be regulars if we lived locally.

Fabulous Italian food very well cooked and prepared by great people. Whether you have pizza or pasta you won't be disappointed. The starters are rather filling so be warned as the main courses need to be done justice to, the chicken fusili or the carbonara are both awesome as are the freshly made pizzas which you can design yourself. Add to this a good selection of wine, cocktails and limoncello than you have a great time to look forward to. Just remember to book a table as it's a small place. Even better book for two nights, one for pasta and one for pizza!

The best artisan pizza I've ever had! The Slinky Fox is a must try if you haven't before! They're based in Old Sarum and do pop-ups and events so keep your eye out for them!

If you ever get the chance, please please spoil yourself and visit. Top notch, freshly prepared authentic Italian food with a good selection of drinks and a great atmosphere. You’ll be hard pushed to find a better Italian restaurant anywhere

Rosaria en Gianni zijn gewoon schatten van mensen! Je voelt je onmiddellijk thuis en ze weten als geen ander om iemand in de watten te leggen met hun Italiaanse gastvrijheid! Hun liefde vertaalt zich ook in heerlijke gerechten. We kunnen ons werkelijk geen betere plek voorstellen om een pure en eerlijke gastronomische avond te beleven met producten van topkwaliteit (de versheid van hun producten en de fierheid waarmee ze hierover vertellen is subliem). Iedere keer opnieuw komen we niet alleen buiten met een voldaan gevoel, maar ook een warm gevoel! We zijn zo blij dat we jullie hebben ontdekt, en kijken alweer uit naar onze volgende keer! This restaurant is a little gem 💛 The food was absolutely beautiful! We had the chicken thigh for starters and we both have said since that we can’t stop thinking about it as it was SO good. I had the Ragu which was simply stunning and my partner had the Nduja, he was full of praise for it. Great service, and all round brilliant night! We will absolutely be back - we often travel to get a decent Italian meal, I can’t tell you how chuffed we are that we finally have one in our hometown.

Great meal, we had amazing pizza and wine. We were served by Elisa who was very lovely and looked after us. We will be returning!

We popped in here on the off chance on our first day of our holiday and received a very warm welcome. We had a lovely meal of olives, cheese & pizza and the owner was friendly, helpful and attentive. Food was delicious and the restaurant is just a lovely and relaxing place to be. We hope to go back again before the end of our holiday!

Lovely coffee, delicious cakes, friendly service, adorable caravan, reasonable prices, perfect. Highly recommend this little gem.
