The best restaurants serving Italian food in Chichester South East

Seating, decor and atmosphere conjure up grand conservatory. Everyone opted for a mix of dishes, sweet almond delights, soups to salads and tasty cheese ones. All enjoyed with various coffee’s then tea to finish. Food delicious. Great service. We will be back with friends, partners or just pop in.

We were staying for the weekend in Selsey and ate here in the evening. The staff were all super friendly and the food superb. We had muscles and sea bass and great desserts. If you happen to be in the area I would definitely suggest here. We had a fab evening, and on top of it all we were able to bring our small dog

** editing as the area manager got in touch and was very helpful and understanding, and explained the whole restaurant had to close for a very valid reason, the issue was just that we were not told this*** Today was the last straw. In the past 5 years, they have left me and my partner waiting for our food on valentines night because they forgot about us, we had to remind the waitress. Then me and my partner went in to ask for a table at lunch time on a weekday. They claimed it would be a 45 minute wait when they were practically empty. After this I had washed my hands with them but my grandparents wanted to go and the waitress was incredibly rude to my elderly grandmother who was just asking questions about splitting the bill and after my grandnother tried to give her a 20% tip she took it and walked away rolling her eyes! And she was talking about our table loudly to a colleague!!! After this I was incredibly angry but it had been a couple of years by today and my mother wanted to go for mothersday. I booked yesterday and got a confirmation email, then just an hour ago I got an email saying my booking was cancelled, 2 hours before we were supposed to get there!! Tried to call them twice and no answer, leaving us with only a couple of hours to find another restaurant on mothersday. Absolutely appalling and will be taken to head office.

Most delicious food. Could do with a few more classic cocktails on the menu. Pricing is very reasonable. 50/50 on the staff and gratuity is included automatically. I recommend and will definitely return.

Very quiet on this occasion but the service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Highly recommend Wildwood. The waitress Molly was absolutely fantastic.

Trivia cards on the table, honestly a brilliant touch. Food was brilliant and service was fantastic.

My family and I ordered some pizzas and sides and they had put meat on all of our vegetarian pizzas, they refused to change or refund the food and were very rude and unprofessional about it!!. Just to top it off the pot of sauce that came with a side was visibly used.

No soy de los que dejan comentarios, pero esta fue la PEOR comida que he comido en mi vida! No exagero cuando digo que estaba EMPAPADO, al punto que tuve que sujetarlo con una servilleta porque se me empapaban las manos. Ni siquiera como un mojado grasiento que a veces se obtiene con pizzas, sino como si realmente lo hubieran hecho pasar por debajo del grifo antes de sacarlo. Para colmo, hacía frío como piedra y el queso era duro como una roca. Si no hubiera esperado una hora después de pedir la comida, la habría devuelto, pero tenía prisa y no tenía otra hora para esperar. Logró forzar unas cuantas rodajas antes de rendirse con él. ¡La única comida que me han servido que realmente me enfermó esa noche! ¡Experiencia horrible y obviamente nunca volveremos!

A totally amazing place to visit. The food is excellent and the service was excellent too. I visited when it was quiet. I shall from 2025 treat myself or with a friend, to sample this amazing place. Yes it is a tad expensive, but as the old saying goes.( You pay for what you get). Keep up your excellent work. I so you forward to seeing you again soon.

We arrived at around 2 ish on 6th April 2023. Our first impression was that they were closed it was very dark and quiet. We did some some other people sitting at tables so we waited by the sign that said "Please wait here to be seated"... And we waited, and we waited, and we waited... At last, a staff member came into view from behind the bar. He then diligently avoided eye contact and proceeded to completely ignore us. He disappeared back into the kitchen. That's OK I thought, he's probably telling somebody that there are customers waiting to be seated. The same staff member made another brief appearance behind the bar and once again ignored us. Game over, we left and went on to have a fantastic meal at a restaurant called "Bill's" just around the corner. Rule 1, page 1: Even if you're busy, do not ignore customers ever! "Apologies for the delay folks, somebody will be with you very shortly" is all he needed to say in order for you to keep a customer and avoid a scathing review. What you have done is loose me as a customer, not just in Chichester, but nationwide, forever. Which is a shame because I really like your food.
