The best restaurants serving Italian food in South East

Friendly owner and staff. Clean place. Had sandwich from display case and they heated it up for us. We sat and ate outside.

We found Carlos during Covid - and the warm welcome - the amazing coffee and most importantly the incredible people mean we go back time after time. Alex, Ross and Natalie are great. They even look after our dogs so well and have always made us so welcome. The homemade pannini and the Arrancini balls are to die for and the general fresh Italian produce is a must if you’re cooking at home .. they also can recommend an excellent wine from the extensive offering. We love this place and it’s become a go too and will remain that way. Best coffee and welcome in the area.

After just moving into the area, we landed up living very close to Spitfire. We have had a few pizzas since and cannot recommend this place enough. Incredible, fresh pizza and amazing price. Thank you so much! 🍕💛

Wow, what a hidden gem! Having read the reviews I thought I would give it a try as we had family over for a visit and we weren’t disappointed. Nicely tucked away, lovely and fresh looking outside and in, staff very friendly and attentive and food was amazing, fresh and tasty. While I do agree with all the wonderful comments regarding the food, service and general friendliness I would strongly advise anybody who is getting sick to death of cyclists taking over a place to steer well clear. Sadly the cafe has been ruined by hoards of them who are not just contents with taking over the inside by moving tables about and shouting at each (other thinking they still have helmets on) but now lean their bikes up against the new Flower boxes, windows and outside tables making it impossible to sit anywhere. I do understand the financial considerations of this particular type business but as other cafes have now discovered this could be at the detriment of regular customers who will of course spread the word to others. Really sad that we had to walk away yet again today as we simply could not get to a seat either inside or out because of them so will not be returning.

We have been to NoveCentro many times now and have never been disappointed, the food is delicious, service is great and very friendly. It is small but that adds to its charm and appeal. It is also great value. Definitely 5 stars.

The greeting is authentically Italian and so is the food. If you are heading in to Windsor or are about to jump on a train to London then stopping here is a great idea. Very big focaccias that taste amazing and will keep you going all day. They also do home made tiramisu in little pots to takeaway. Totally delicious. Its winter now, but the gelati they sold in summer was exceptional and cost much less than the new ice cream shops on Peascod Street.

I was luck enough to get 2 seat at the ‘pay what you want’ evening. I can honestly say it did not disappoint! 8 individuals sat round a table, enjoying wonderful food. A brilliant concept! Each dish was carefully thought out and tasted insane. Alex and Laurel were easily able to cater for my gf needs along with the normal secret menu! I will be ordering take out soon so I can share their amazing food with my Husand. Checkout their website and get your name in the hat for one of these brilliant evenings!! Best pizza in the area ..!! YUMOLA - we just had a selection of pizza and “new dips” and all were absolutely awesome..!! 10/10 delicious fresh ingredients cooked to perfection.

I discovered Pasta Out during lockdown, so unfortunately there was no availability to sit down and eat within, but the golden side to this was that I discovered their lovely take away service. The pasta is absolutely beautiful, so much so, that I will only have dry pasta in the house for emergencies only. There is a great choice of freshly made pasta and if they don't have any left, they will make it for you there and then. Easy to cook and beautifully fresh, soft and tasty. Highly recommended.

Lovely little spot, sat out in the sun for breakfast and it was a delight. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Food was first class, would love to come back.

I bought 4 tubs of Gelati:- Stracciatella, Rasberry, Chochlate Orange, Mascarpone for my birthday dinner party treat & we were not disappointed with the delicious flavours & quality on the Gelati! 100% Quality best Icecream every bought!
