Ordered a takeaway, was a bit disappointed. Took over an hour and a half. Chips were barely cooked. Asked for a ham and cheese mini calzone which was burnt and had sausage meat instead of ham even though I rang and asked for ham instead.

Outstanding pizza and reasonably priced . Delivered on time and just delicious. Visiting the area but will definitely use Zios again.

Ordered tonight, assuming it would be usual pizza/pasta experience. Well, it was certainly not that! Every dish ordered was absolutely perfect. Pizzas were fresh and delicious. Chicken Milanese accompanied by spaghetti was the best we’ve eaten. Garlic bread was soft and pillowy. Aran ink filled with spinach was gorgeous too. We will definitely be ordering again - hopefully weekly! Bravissimo!

We’ve become regular customers here, every time we order our food is ready within 10/15 minutes, the ingredients are so fresh and the pizza is really delicious.

Amazing - I’ve literally just finished a Pizza (Rucola) from this place and it was so good I’ve come straight on tripadvisor to leave a review. Only visiting the area otherwise I’d be a regular here!! Don’t waste your money at Dominoes/ Papa Johns or the other chain places - go and have Pizza the way it’s meant to be!! Not only was the Pizza great but the staff were friendly and chatty. If you are local pay this place a visit!

This family owned and run restuarant has been our favourite for years. Not only is all of their delicious food freshly prepared and made in the restaurant to order, it's authentic taste is matched with excellent customer service that never fails to deliver. I couldn't recommend ordering from Zio's highly enough...the wood fired pizza oven is unmatched by any of the many pizzerias in Walton and the calamari, carbonara and zucchini consistently taste top notch too!

The only pizza place we even consider. Beautiful authentic taste from the wood-fired oven, love the people and the atmosphere they've created in that little shop.

I'm from Italy (Naples!) and I suggest all to try it! Lillo and Michele are very kind and they carry out their work with passion and competence! Bravi! Molto molto bravi!

What a find this was! Happened to come across this place today whilst looking for somewhere to grab some lunch for the family. Excellent service, lovely guys to chat to whilst they made the most delicious pizza we’ve had outside of Italy! Seriously good, proper pizza. Lots of topping choices and all very reasonably priced. We will be back.

I've ordered pizza from Zio's three times now since June and every time the service and Pizza have been brilliant. The pizzas, and we have tried 4 different ones - to see if they are all as good as each other, and they are - have all been excellent. The people also make such a difference, warm and friendly. Very highly recommended. Just typing this is making me think about my next pizza from Zio's

It’s a shame that this pizzeria doesn’t have many more excellent reviews because it provides really excellent pizzas and a great service. What’s not to like about wood-fired pizzas and a great menu of options that includes all the favourites. The ingredients are fresh and the preparation area is open (always a good sign). I’ve been there a few times now and I’ll be returning again on a regular basis. Our young daughter loves the traditional ‘doughy’ garlic bread which is a big plus. Finally, it’s a family-run business and (like Prima Fila) we should be doing everything we can to put business their way - not the chains. Highly recommended, without hesitation.

It’s our daughter’s second lockdown birthday today but we managed to get 5 friends round to help her celebrate with pizza in the garden. One of the friends is gluten free so we needed to find a delivery that offered GF pizza, hence us giving Zio’s a go. I don’t think we will ever order pizza delivery from anywhere else again. The pizza bases were just what you would want from an authentic Nepalese pizza base and the toppings were full of flavour. I ordered double pepperoni - as there’s never enough - but I won’t make that mistake again, single portions are more than sufficient. As for the GF pizza, they all looks the same to me but the GF girl said it was delicious and that’s good enough for me though it did seem to lack some of the fresh moz and was more grated but she liked it so who am I to criticise. So to summarise, the best delivery pizza I’ve had in longer than I can recall. Oh I nearly forgot, as the order was so large they sent two separate deliveries because they didn’t want it to get cold. The deliveries were no more than 5 mins apart (just long enough for them to fire the extra pizzas and deliver immediately and definitely not long enough for some of the girls to have finished their pizza before the others were delivered) and it meant that everyone ate warm pizza. The garlic bread and mozzarella sticks were also a big hit.

Got recommended this place by some Italian friends and we weren't disappointed, delivery took a little, but it was definitely worth the wait! We had a pepperoni and a vesuvio pizzas and they were both authentic and delicious 😋 will definitely be ordering again.

Love this place. Authentic pizza just like you’d get in Italy, and the paninis are such good value for money! Can’t understand why anyone would go anywhere else 😊

I have enjoyed many different pizzas, and from the big chains - Very indifferent pizzas. Zio's is at the top of the top. A small gem seating 8 people max. Zio's is at its heart a pizza take away and delivery restaurant, using the best...

Hopefully, this review will not swamp ZIo's in the Halfway in Walton. I have never had the pleasure of finding a restaurant, so incredibly good that I almost would like to keep it a secret, so I can always get an order in - But...
