Lovely service and food. Really good value for money and generous portions. Both had 3 courses & drinks (bought at the bar) for around £60 👍🏻

This was our second visit to Monty's, today we had an all day breakfast, make sure your hungry as it's so filling, we highly recommend this place and the staff are so welcoming

Welcoming and friendly service, delicious breakfast the French toast is beautiful as is the vege breakfast. Will be going again

Have been to Monty's for Sunday lunch, that I can definitely recommend, but this particular visit was lunch with my friend. Was massively impressed by the menu, lots of choice. We opted for the smashed avocado on sourdough toast, with poached eggs and bacon. Fantastic portions and certainly didn't disappoint. I will absolutely be going back. It was reasonably priced, nice relaxed atmosphere and fab service. Thank you Monty's, see you again soon!

I had a great lunch at Monty's Bistro, I ordered the avocado on toast with egg and bacon, it was so tasty, good value for money. The staff were really friendly and attentive, particularly Ilana, she was the perfect hostess. I would highly recommend it. I am looking forward to my next visit

A fab place to catch up with friends, so much to choose from and very reasonably priced. Will be recommending to family and friends.

Have been twice so far and on both occasions we have enjoyed our choices from the varied menu. Both service and the food were great. Portions are generous and prices very affordable. Adequate parking at the Abbey Hotel and very pleasant surroundings to dine in. Looking forward to our next visit very soon. Thoroughly recommend Monty’s Bistro and a very welcome addition to the island.

Just got home and had to do an immediate review - Decided to try Monty’s for Dad’s Birthday dinner and none of us (4) were disappointed. We decided to head straight for mains, no starter. Mains ordered were steak for hubby who has not stopped talking about how good it was, especially considering a bad few recently from other restaurants; chicken kebabs which mum couldn’t finish as a huge portion; dad had pie of the day which was ridiculously large, but he thoroughly enjoyed it, then to me, the vegan! I was offered several option and decided on the veggie marinara; very tasty and plenty of chunky veg; courgette, peppers, sugarsnap peas. We were all stuffed and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Sadly we couldn’t contemplate trying to squeeze a desert in, but as they knew it was Dad’s Birthday they presented him with a takeaway slice of cake, which was a lovely gesture. Service was great by Ilana and Kas, as it was when we went before it became ‘Montys’ - so friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Would we go Back? 100% would we recommend it? 100%. We are thrilled to have another fabulous restaurant on the doorstep - see you again soon.

The young lady wasn’t very welcoming no greeting etc, so we just went and took a seat. Food was ok but a little pricey for the food quality. Will defo go back as dinner menu looks better than the breakfast one that we had. Every new business needs local support.

Went for dinner here tonight and was delicious! Staff were attentive and welcoming. As a bit of a fussy eater I made a couple of changes to my meal which wasn't a problem at all. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return. Also very reasonably priced. Thank you for an enjoyable evening. :)
