I have recently discovered Monica’s Deli after moving to Dorking. The food is freshly made delicious and well presented. The place is spotlessly clean. The staff are super friendly and I come back again and again. I can’t wait for spring and summer so I can try out the patio hidden at the back which is such a surprise in a very busy urban setting. Go try it! You won’t be disappointed.

My daughter and I (and baby) visited Monica's on a Monday lunchtime. We were made most welcome; ditto the baby and pushchair. We both had the roasted butternut squash soup, with honey and Thyme, which was delicious and plentiful. There were two other equally tempting home made soup options. We discovered that the squash was home grown on their local allotment! This is a truly unique café where the owners take great pride in producing home made food of an exceptional quality. We will be back!

Delicious homemade fresh salads, pies and cakes. Plenty of space, light and airy and has both outside and inside eating areas. I recommend Monica's Deli!

My Husband and I found Monica's by chance mid- afternoon today, after having dropped off our dog at the doggy parlour nearby. We shared the brie, cranberry and streaky bacon panini, which was freshly made and Monica divided and put on 2 china plates, with a little salad. This was followed by the fresh lemon cake - delicious! My husband had 2 cappucinos and I had a small pot of strong tea, which Monica kindly topped up with hot water. Monica herself served us with a smile - and did not hurry us at all. We enjoyed all of our food, and prices were similar to most delis/cafés we have been to. We would certainly return next time we are in Dorking.

Popped into Monica's Deli for lunch. A warm welcome and delicious food, freshly prepared. We had the brie, cranberry and bacon panini and the chicken noodles and both were delicious. Tea was served in good china and the home made cakes were fantastic. All good value and we will definately make Monica's a regular stop.

Monica's Deli is such a treat to visit – a tiny cafe / deli with a beautiful little courtyard garden and a personality to match. The fresh lunchtime menu and delicious cakes are home-made by the super-friendly Monica, with many using ingredients from her own allotment... in fact, I just enjoyed my first ever pumpkin cake (made with her own pumpkins) today! Comfortable and comforting, it's a great place to meet friends for a chat or to take a little break on your own with a coffee and paper, watching the bustle of West Street go by.

Lovely little find with the very accomplished Monica serving up an unusually eclectic international menu for a quiet backwater. Homemade dishes made with love and care. Thank you. Thanks also to David for front of house hospitality.

Loved our lunch at this refreshingly authentic cafe. The five of us sat in the little garden enjoying a range of savouries from a home made Italian prosciutto layer and spinach pie and salad to the house speciality micro noodle stirfries and paninis. Coffee lovely and delightful home made cakes for dessert. Great service. A find we will definitely come back to.

A delightful place with a small menu of very good quality, Italy-centered, food - no pizza & standard pasta, though. Surprising, original and great value for money. We'd go again tomorrow, but the ferry is waiting 😢
