The Swan Great Horwood Buckinghamshire in Aylesbury Vale

This was only our second visit to this lovely village pub, but we were made to feel so welcome by Jenny and Jasmine during our Saturday night out for dinner. The food was lovely, service exceptional and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed as we sat by one of the fireplaces. We will definitely be going back to this pub again very soon. Thanks again Jenny and Jasmine for looking after us and making us feel so welcome.

Sunday lunch after Christmas and I couldnt have picked anywhere better the staff are welcoming and the food was absolutely phenomenal

What a gem of a pub/restaurant. We stumbled across the place by chance. Food was served all day and at 5pm we had the most delicious beef hotpot by an open fire! Staff were welcoming and friendly, the place was very Christmasy. I would definitely return if I am in the area again.

Been wanting to try The Swan since it reopened and it didn’t disappoint! Very friendly service over the phone from Jenny who greeted us and provided a first class waitress service throughout our stay. Steak and Ale Pie and ‘George’s Hot Pot’ all delicious - thank you Jenny and The Swan - we’ll be back!! :)

Had the most amazing roast , myself and the children fully enjoyed it and would go again. Whilst having dinner, disco bingo was on which added to the lovely welcoming atmosphere. Fantastic pub, highly recommend. Thank you

What a superb pub, and really great food. I had the Chicken Pie with mash and the tastiest gravy I have had in a while. My wife had the Burger which she gave an 11/10. We will certainly be back with friends.

We visited The Swan to try it out since it has been re-opened recently. We were SO happy we came!! We were made to feel welcome the second we walked through the door, the roaring fire 🔥 was cosy and the Sunday roast was AMAZING!! The quantities were so good as was every single item on our plates! We will be back ASAP!!!

Popped in on a recent stay in the village. Appeared to be a pub with great local atmosphere. Good drink selection and prices. Nice pub for a drink in the sun!

This I think is the best restaurant in the area. The Sunday Lunch is the best I have ever had. I have tried all local restaurants/bars in the area including The Old Thatched In, The Boot, The Shoulder of Mutton and a local Michelin rated restaurant/bar but this is by far the best for cuisine, service, staff, it has a good atmosphere and very relaxing. You are not hurried and it has a very good menu including a good Italian menu. The garden is nice and there is adequate parking. The seating is comfortable and the decor is wonderful.
