The best restaurants serving Italian food in City Centre Manchester North West

I've seen this place serve Ethiopian food for a while now and always wanted to give it a go. I did just that the other day, ordering injera with vegetarian sides, as a takeaway. The injera were very filling, the sides were varied and tasty. The owners/staff were lovely and I felt it was extremely good value for money. I'd recommend anyone give this a go, I certainly will again.

From the moment we entered the restaurant, the service were friendly and welcoming. The food was piping hot and delicious. They did get the cocktail order wrong but, this was quickly resolved. Will definitely return next time we visit Manchester. Lovely, somewhat hidden gem that is away from the hustle and bustle and offers a quieter atmosphere to the larger restaurants in the surrounding area.

Delicious sandwiches and coffee. Hot mocha was super smooth and chocolatey without being too cloying. Super friendly staff as well.

Absolutely amazing food and service. Rosa and Stephano made our visit! Our pasta was fresh and the sauce was so incredible. Thank you, we will be back!!!

Came to Rudy’s on a busy Saturday afternoon. Ordered drinks and pizza fairly quickly by very friendly staff. Then had to wait for a long time for our pizza to arrive. So drank my wine, chatted but as I was sat nearest to the pizza oven, back kitchen and serving hatch I couldn’t help but watch the running of the restaurant. First I noticed the pizza man kept putting his paddle down on the floor- then in the oven. Ok it’s a hot oven I’m sure my pizza would burn off any dirt from chef’s shoes. Then I couldn’t help notice the staff one in particularly. Hair not tied up, kept getting her phone out so touching it, then hand on exposed waist then wait for it- picking up ham and rocket and placing it on pizzas. Trust me to have ordered that one! Felt lovely eating it. Luckily not much topping to worry about!!

Warm welcome from willing staff. Nano and Erica kept us well fed and watered, with a minimum of fuss and discreet attention. Good choice of pastas with meat or fish dishes, salads. Simple, inexpensive wines unless you want to push the boat out. Bravo!

I've only just ordered my food and drink in the first 5 minutes of arriving and I'm already so excited. I'm italian, the staff are italian and so so friendly. Waitress gave me her favourites with honest opinions and the menu looks divine. Will absolutely aim to come here again whenever I'm in Manchester! ❤❤❤ *Update: Salmon pasta dish was bloomin amazing, focaccia bread was 10/10. The dessert menu doesn't know what's about to hit it.

Fab for families - Jose our waiter was great with the children. Such a great night, recommend for everyone. Food was great but experience better😊

I visited the Slice pizza at Oxford Road station (not the one pictured on here), and I'd just like to say what a lovely experience I had. I was greeted by a lovely young man wearing glasses, I think his name was Wilf. He was friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble. It's really lovely to experience such good customer service. I would visit again in light of this. Pizza was also delicious. Thanks

Mi mejor amiga y yo tuvimos una encantadora cena de 3 platos aquí - conocimos a algunos asistentes encantadores al teatro y el personal se puso de pie rápidamente sacando la comida a tiempo para que todos llegaran al ballet... Estoy libre de gluten y tenía GF merengue boloñés y limón - era realmente delicioso! ¡El tiramisú también lo clavó! Un pequeño hallazgo tan hermoso con comida sabrosa y personal increíble - Jennifer tenía pestañas increíbles y nos cuidó muy bien, gracias - servicio con sonrisa ❤️

Went here on a Saturday night for a works Christmas party good service from start to finish the food was fantastic good choice of wine and beers nice and central for manchester

Visited Saturday evening with the family. Beautiful decor and atmosphere. Bar area and drinks choice fabulous. We had a great booth table for 6 and an attentive and interested server, (from Ischia and who gave us some great information on the island and we want to visit there now), who overheard us talking about a recent birthday and delivered a lush dessert without request. Staff were plentiful and really efficient and friendly across the restaurant. Food was amazing and we weren’t rushed at all which was perfect for our group. We joined the Club IR and will visit again. Thank u all 💕
