The best restaurants serving Italian food in North East

Despite it being Spring (allegedly), we had wanted a lovely take away Sunday lunch after a trip to the tip and garden centre. Our go to in the past has been Gallo Nero, so ordered online for a pick up. Our order was ready for collection, staff were prompt. Two beef dinners (loads of tender beef), two yorkies each and a variety of veg, plus gravy. We ordered extra gravy but didn’t need it as there was plenty. (It’ll keep for pie, chips and peas tomorrow night.) very nice lunch, recommended

Visitamos Doughdaze para una porción. Tuvimos nuestros pedidos tomados rápidamente y nos sirvieron las rodajas igual de rápido. Eran 2 libras. 50 por rebanada que creo que era buena relación calidad-precio debido al tamaño de cada rebanada. Opté por la pizza Margherita con copos de chile añadidos. La pizza se sirve al estilo de Nueva York y era bastante sabroso. Bien vale la pena una visita si busca un bocadillo rápido.

Lovely experience Staff gave us a very warm weclome and were lovely throughout. Food was excellent. Very fresh and cooked with perfection.

Family fave when we are craving for authentic italian and they are halal (also alcohol free!) The ragu for the spaghetti bolognese is too good to pass up. We went for sunday roast as well and it was delicious! Friendly staff, and food served pretty quick.

I did do a 5 star review but today I changed it as I had an awful experience with this shop today the owner was so rude. The tone he spoke to me infront of my husband was absolutely degrading. Don’t get me wrong the food is lovely but I couldn’t possibly go back there. This owner shouldn’t be aloud to communicate with customers he’s disrespectful and down right rude. The lady is so polite and welcoming and worth a 5 star deffinatly but the owner lets the whole place down.

Weekend In Tynemouth and popped in for an early Sunday dinner. Service friendly and very welcoming. We shared the potato skins and garlic mushroom starter - both generous portions, beautifully presented and delicious. Pasta mains were again amazing. Absolutely recommend the meatball pasta. Taste of basil, quality sugo and home made polpette. Can’t recommend highly enough and can’t wait to return.

Good pizza, very good alternative for dinner if you stay at village hotel

Nice atmosphere inside and served with a smile. Not many places like this left and would easily go and sample more of the food on another visit.

Mi esposa y yo hemos visitado Pizzastorm varias veces y realmente disfrutamos de una pizza rápida, de calidad superior.La pizza de pepperoni es genial. Las cuñas cargadas eran tal vez un poco demasiado para nosotros, pero una delicia.Todo tiene un precio razonable también, ¿qué no le gusta?

I have a chicken vindaloo every time I visit it an Indian restaurant and this was the worst I’ve had in a longtime. It was hard to eat the chicken as it was extremely chewy also there was very little sauce with the curry. This restaurant is very poor and does not live up to its reviews!

The food is disgusting and un edible the staff are extremely rude and un educated I can’t understand why anyone puts boiled onions on a pizza
