We booked a table mid week, a warm welcome from the owner and staff - the owner is the chef and it was lovely to be able to compliment him on his cooking (later). I ordered the Lamb Biryani - it was so fragrant and tasty, a generous portion of lamb, the rice was beautiful, all cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the Butter chicken and thoroughly enjoyed his meal and also the fruit crumble with custard afterwards. (I was too full up for a desert!).! Recommended!

Extremely expensive. Row over the bill. Destroyed our birthday party. They brought an extra bottle of house wine , we said it wasn't ordered The waitress opened it anyway and took it away, charged us. When almost everyone had left a cheese board appeared, we didn't order, charged for that. They seemed to hate us.

Weird-lots of good reviews so thought we were going to be in for a treat! Very friendly, wine great, menu very Italian, good so far. Hints and echos of what could be good traditional food but missed the mark by too much twill not risk visiting again. Bruschetta: has to be made with the best tomatoes and if they are not in season, don’t bother putting on menu. Tomatoes were anaemic, probably from Holland! Melanzane Parmigiana: almost okay but cheese was more like that in a Domino’s pizza, not quite right. Spaghetti Carbonara: far too heavy, stodgy and super salty. This should be a thing of lightness and balance of taste. The bacon is salty so you must use Pecorino to balance the saltiness. You should not use a Domino’s stringy heavy cheese! Could go on but can’t be bothered.

Great pizzas, the dough is the best I have had for a while. We all had the giardinera, which was good but no cheese in the base, something that wasn't mentioned in the menu.

Best experience ever! Friendly staff like Maria, amazing food from Italian chef Danilo, and a warm atmosphere. Quick service with a kids’ menu, too. If you want authentic Italian & Sicilian cuisine with the feeling of being in Italy, come here.

Popped in to have a coffee and light snack with friends. The coffee was so strong it was awful. I asked for some hot water to weaken it and after 10 minutes ( coffee now cool) she brought me some cold water. I explained the coffee was too strong and asked if i could have a fresh one as she had only given me cold water. The 2nd coffee was even stronger. 30 minutes into my visit, 2 sips of coffee later. I decided to pay and leave. At this point she charged me for 2 coffees. I explained that I had only ordered a second coffee as it took too long to bring water and she said it had been my choice and I had to pay for both. Rude, unhelpful and awful coffee.

It chaotic, noisy and took a while before we were offered drinks when first arrived and then Prosecco was just placed in a cooler with no attempt to pour any drinks

Food delicious! Tables very close and small in bar area so felt little squashed in. Good buzzing atmosphere and very busy so noise levels high - probably due to important Rugby day! Overall good experience and food always wins out!
