As an Italian I really recommend this place, delicious food and very helpful and friendly staff (still in line with London prices)

Hello everyone, I came to this restaurant to eat a dinner, the food is very good, great service. They were all very welcoming and kind.

This is a lovely restaurant with a really nice outside terrace making the most of the urban location. We visited previously and that was absolutely top-notch (matching the rather premium price point) so we really looked forward to our return visit this weekend. As last time, the food excelled but, unfortunately, the service was pretty dire so we cannot say the restaurant is as good as our previous first impression. Then the bill has the cheek to add a 12.5% gratuity. Given the price point that the venue sits at, the food plus the service should be top-notch. To not offer the service level that the price demands, and to then add a gratuity is a bit much really. We paid, with reluctance, simply because we didn't want to ruin our evening any further with an argument. The restaurant would do well to work on consistency of service. Will we return? Well, was our first visit just lucky to be superb, or was the second visit unlucky to be so poor? That's a bit of a coin-flip...

Lovely place, sat outside on the nice terrace. Very welcoming waitress who looked after us really well. Plenty of time to choose what we wanted. Delicious seafood starters followed by a quality rib of beef with a mushroom sauce. Very well balanced dishes with plenty of options. Hard to fault the place and why would I want to! We’ll be back!

Whilst there is huge choice in Richmond Treviso is our favourite restaurant. We had dinner there last night for the first time in 6 months. The atmosphere, on Friday evening was warm and fun but calm enough to talk and listen. This feels like a family run restaurant - each course is carefully made and served. The prawns/gamberitti are succulent and served in such a sublime tasting sauce that we always start with them before exploring the menu or specials for the next course. Well done Nicola - dining at your restaurant seems to have got even better now that you have extended it with the bar next door.

Located rather unpromising area so I wasn’t quite sure but was totally wrong. This place is amazing!!!!! Probably the best Italian I’ve ever had in London and definitely will go back. (There are salt & peppers on table but you don’t need those. If you do, there must be something wrong with your tongue. Everything is perfectly seasoned. )

The best Italian in not only Richmond, but London. The food is seriously good, and there is a great selection of wine. Cosy atmosphere and very friendly service. Coming here is always a treat, I absolutely love this place. Prawns are a MUST try!

Man, what a way to celebrate my anniversary with my partner. The food is absolutely incredible. The service was very professional and super friendly. Chef even sat down with us for 10 minutes and we just spoke for 10 minutes about our love for cooking. Definitely worth a lovely a meal. Treat yourself to a bit Italy. The only downsides here I found was that the lighting in the outdoor seating area wasn’t working when we came, or perhaps not turned on. Also, our view of the road was kind of blocked by a metal box, so it feel a bit crammy where we sat. But the other tables definitely looked better, but we didn’t get that unfortunately. Not an issue at all, but no acknowledgment of anniversary even though I put in the booking, but I don’t mind, it’s just something I noticed.

Possibly the worst Italian food I have ever eaten (and I say this as an Italian). Been wanting to go to this restaurant for a long time because it looked very attractive but was extremely disappointed by the food and service. The initial staff were reasonably friendly but one of the waiters (presumably the owner) tried to convince me the ragu was fine and just wasn’t suitable for “my taste” when I wanted it deducted from the bill as it was practically inedible. It was in fact bland, cheaply made and almost tasted shop bought. Gamberetti was average (just garlic), the most bland potatoes I think I’ve ever eaten and as previously mentioned the ragu was awful. We were served two orange juices that weren’t even freshly made and when asked neither waiter had any clue about the very few mains listed on their menu. Overall vibe and atmosphere was decent but why go to somewhere that looks nice with awful food that isn’t even authentic ?

Best Italian. Everything is freshly cooked. Freshest and best ingredients. This might mean that sometimes a dish is not available but they make every effort to replace it with something similar even if not on the menu. Adapting Ece’ye big for children too. Be it smaller sizes or less spices. Wine menu is endless and the recommendations are superb. One of our favourite places to go in Richmond.

Good selection of wine and the food was beyond great. It’s was game night - we were sort of hastened to order quickly and hustled out so that the staff could watch the game. So … you know, I can’t say much about the service or the atmosphere as we weren’t really permitted to enjoy it. 😅 I will say tho … the pasta dish was amazing! I’d go back, just not on a night where the staff were clearly distracted. It’s not great when as a customer you don’t feel like a priority.

Delightful experience. This is the closest I have come to licking a plate since childhood. Fantastic food, friendly atmosphere, and incredible reasonable price. There's so much choice on the menu plus specials, definitely planning to go back and take friends as everyone should get to enjoy dining at Treviso.

A wine bar, connected to a great restaurant. Family run, great food and a very good selection of wines. Just ask and they'll find you one appropriate to your budget and taste.

Afternoon visit in the Sun sitting on the terrace coffee and cake what’s not to like

A gem of a place. Great staff and honest italian food at a reasonable price. Try the prawns, delicious so they were.

Booked for 2. Waiter asked for our order within 2 minutes of sitting down. Then came back to tell us the kitchen was closing early so we had to order then and there.. didn’t even get a chance to order drinks or read the menu. Ambiance was terrible, no one in there and morgue music. Ended up with some dry bread and oil. The best bit was the cold glass of the one drink we got. And to top it off had to pay service charge. Would not return or recommend to anyone. Says parking but is little to none.

Absolutely delicious food. We had the prawns and the mushrooms to start then I had the seabass. Stunning flavours. Great wine recommendation. Very warm and friendly staff and convivial atmosphere. Reasonable priced. Would definitely go back and recommend.

We were meeting our son who lives in south London for my husbands birthday and drive from Southampton . We could not have made a better choice . Fabulous family run restaurant, fantastic owner who was funny and engaging and the food was to die for ! One of the best meals out I have had for a long time and I am hard to please . Recommend the gamberetti starter and the ravioli . Superb will come again !!

This is a little gem of a restauraunt! We ate there in 13/2 and could not be more surprised! The food was immaculate as was the service!

Enjoyed Monday lunch at the Treviso. The restaurant is welcoming and the food was good. My only complaint is that a few dishes from the menu were unavailable. Would have to go back: it might be different on a busy night service.

Superb food and a good vibe to the place … the only reason that we didn’t give it the full 5 stars was because of the attitude of the owner / manager who was very full of himself …also we had an incident at the table where an apology would have been nice but wasn’t forthcoming .. that aside one of the best Italian restaurants we’ve been to outside of Italy..

We found ourselves in this bustling, friendly, authentic Italian restaurant after a local game of rugby. Efficient, friendly service and an interesting choice of dishes ensured that our 'healthy' appetites were satisfied (at a very reasonable price), and our journey continued with live music and dancing at the pub across the road... Thank you Treviso!

Treviso never ever disappoints! We were thrilled to return to see Nicolas and his team. Quickly seated without a reservation because we were remembered by the owner, we had a simply wonderful meal- all 6 plates were devoured by kids and adults alike. Service was speedy and attentive. We look forward to experiencing their new wine bar next door on our next visit without the kids!

Never leave reviews usually but this place deserves 1 million 5 star reviews. I’d like to keep it a secret because I don’t want to struggle to get a booking but it’s only fair to give credit to such a lovely place. The staff are wonderful - our waiter overheard me say I’m allergic to mussels and informed us he’d see to it that I could have have the seafood linguini without. (That’s because each dish is made to order!). No request is too much or too silly. It was a special evening because of the lovely atmosphere. And if you go - get the tiramisu!!!

We went to Treviso for dinner for our anniversary. The food, wine, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. My family liked Treviso very much. Definitely we will visit again.

We went to Treviso first time for our anniversary for dinner on Thursday, we liked Treviso very much. We tried today’s special for starter (grilled sardine, shrimp with sauce) and main (seafood pasta, ravioli) Tiramisu. They were all fantastic and collection of wine is good. Service and atmosphere were also very nice. Cost performance is high. Definitely we will visit again!

Amazing food and lovely wine selection

Food was so/so, ordered a small plate off grilled prawns which I saw online however what I received was creamy, wet and not what I expected at all, a bit sickly. I was over charged on payment - which seems to be a common theme. Only 30p but as someone who owns a small business every penny counts especially when your charging 12.5% service fee Wouldn’t recommend

Small restaurant with a nice cozy setting. Good service. Great food. Very good stake. I went there by myself, but still it was very enjoyable moment.

While some of the food was good (ravioli, the meatball starter) the main of carbonara was inedible and even when remade was not pleasant and did not taste like carbonara and was not eaten. We were told to ask next time if we wanted it made with eggs and cheese! It wasn’t even taken off our bill. Although it’s a local restaurant we would be unlikely to go back, such a disappointing experience.

We ordered the seafood and amitriciana linguine together with a sharing platter of antipasto and seafood. This was delicious without being over-seasoned. Service was attentive and friendly. Ambiance was reminiscent of wine bar - nice.

I took my mother for a belated Mother's Day meal prior to going to Richmond Theatre. We had a table by the window and were the first to arrive at 6pm. The bread and oil along with some olives was a good starter. I had chicken and my mother had a Salmon pasta. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We both had glasses of wine and water

Lovely place to eat, lovely atmosphere and very Italian which was fantastic. Waiter was welcoming and chatty. There were four of us. Wine was stunning it was red by the way. Food for me was absolutely beautiful, very tasty. My partner felt his portion was a little small. A lovely evening spent in a lovely restaurant.

We dined with them Valentine's evening. Wasn't the best experience due to miscommunication, but I appreciate the fact that they contacted us the next day to resolve the matter.

Food was good, well flavoured, and tasted authentic. The service was a mixture of some nice waiters and some not so nice. The atmosphere was decent, very crowded at one point, so you couldn't hear a thing. Overall, good.

I had the home made ravioli and my husband the ragu. Absolutely delicious. Friendly waiter and owner. Really cozy. We last ate here many years ago when living nearby when it was a Turkish restaurant. I prefer this Italian. Super little place . We will go back

Our favourite Richmond restaurant for a special night out, consistently excellent Italian food, super friendly service and a great Italian wine list!

The food was nice but the special Valentine’s day menu was way overpriced. The prices were not even shown on the menu and we got quite a surprise when the bill came (x3-4 the usual price).

Valentines dinner - decent food, let down by underhanded and rip off pricing. We were given the valentines menu (without any pricing) which I expected to be a bit more premium than usual, but £75 for 3 courses and £68 for 2 courses set menus without drinks was unjustified in what is a decent but not especially high tier restaurant. For that money I’ll go to a Michelin star restaurant and actually get a meal worth the money.

This is not first time we go and definitely won't be the last. Went last night for valentine's day and the atmosphere was amazing, warm and friendly. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is very delicious. Definitely will go back soon

Great restaurant, incredible food and lovely ambience

We booked a table for Valentine’s Day and were not told the normal menu wouldn’t be available. We were given a printed A4 sheet of paper with 5 starters, 5 mains and 3 desserts to choose from. No prices anywhere. The food was fine but we were charged £75 + service for 3 courses of basic Italian food. Really taking advantage of Valentines Day but no communication when we booked nor on prices on the day. £75 is a crazy high amount compared to their usual a la carte prices (more or less double the price for what we had). The above we just dealt with, we paid no questions asked. However as we were leaving the owner was being incredibly rude to a family of asian ethnicity next to us. When they sat down he was telling them they couldn’t sit there, bookings only, and had to sit outside (it’s February and freezing). When the woman said she was told to sit here by the woman waitress and that she HAD booked (her husband had booked but was in the toilet), the owner proceeded to say you must have booked on OpenTable, do not book on there as they charge me. Why is that the customers fault? You choose to be on there as a business and it brings in customers you otherwise wouldn’t have had. You pay for that service…. He made the woman feel very uncomfortable and it was quite obvious that because of their race he was on the offensive from the moment they sat down. He was a sleazy, long curly haired older man. Stay out of the restaurant and leave your staff to their jobs. And stop inflating prices astronomically without communicating it to your guests.. otherwise you’ll start to lose that clientele.

My third visit to Treviso and I'm always delighted with the service and the food (and the wine!). It must be difficult on a busy match day at Twickenham to keep everyone happy, but they do so seamlessly.

Came here after the Christmas lights at Kew. It wasn’t too busy (it was late anyway) but excellent service and food and a great “Italian” ambience.

Fabulous food , should of booked a table inside but really enjoyed it with the fantastic company sat opposite me. Think the staff forgot about so missed out on the sweets . Will go back and will book a table next time.

After a long trip I was looking for a independent to eat and relax with a reasonable atmosphere and seeing the reviews on socials about this restaurant I gave this a go. Made to feel so welcome unlike my last visit to a restaurant other week, there was no pressure to order while studying both drinks and a la Carte menu. Without prompting I was told about the specials for which I chose the homemade Ravioli with a glass of Merlot. For desert I went for the cheese with a glass of Grillo I think? Check backs both times! Decor of the restaurant gives a very cosy intimate vibe and arrangements of wines makes you feel as if your abroad. For those who wish to be introduced into the dining scene in Richmond no better place to start than here! Grazie Squadra! Till next time!
