Was ok had to send my gluten free pizza back as it wasn't cooked and cold was told if they cook it more the crust would burn still wasn't brilliant second time

8 of us went for a dinner, drinks meet up at Arthur's end of Feb 2024. It was a Wednesday, the restaurant was not busy at all so we were expecting a good service . However it was the opposite. We had to wave to the people around kitchen area to get attention. We helped ourselves for menu and gathered cutlery from other tables. The place was not warm enough so we had to keep our jackets on for while. After dinner when we asked for a coffee the staff said they cleaned the machine so there is no coffee which was quite rude as we were there and the time was not close to the closing time. I wouldn't go there again.

Beautiful tasty food in a lovely atmosphere.

It was only a few minutes late, so I would class that as on time however, everything was stone cold and I am really not that far away. Very disappointing

I came here to meet someone for a coffee. I have not been in for years. The welcome was like warm, the staff were bickering about shifts and payment. Not what you want to hear. I can’t comment on the food as I did not eat here and given the atmosphere I would not.

This quirky pizzeria serves sourdough pizza from their wood fire oven. The pizzas were so good that we had to order another one on the spot. Lovely view of the Twickenham green. Friendly and accommodating staff. On some days, you get special deals.

The pizzas here are delicious 👌

Delivery was early and I received exactly what I ordered.

Lovely little place just on Twickenham Green, serving fresh wood fired pizzas. They do a 2 for 1 offer during the week. So paying just over £5 for a fresh pizza. Really friendly attentive staff and great location over looking the green. Highly recommend :-)

It took half an hour from the delivery starting to the guy turning up so the pizza was very cold. The Pizza itself was good as always from Arthur's it was the delivery that was at fault

I came in for lunch on Today (thursday), I was served by the same young women as before and she’s still just as lovely! However, despite being the only table at lunch we were waiting a while for our garlic bread and it was a little off putting that the chef was on his phone the whole time as you could hear the phone conversation in the background. Besides that it was just as perfect as before.

The time changed on the screen. I wasn't in a rush so it was fine. The pizza was excellent, both in eating and price value and well worth waiting for.

We have had our XMas gathering at Arthur's today and Antonia, the manager, looked after our guests with care and great spirit! Highly recommended!!

We brought a group of children here at short notice and had an absolutely fantastic time. The staff worked quickly to produce a large number of delicious pizzas, including vegan and gluten free options, and were as friendly and helpful as could be throughout our visit.

Is not a good pizza.. not a wood fired oven and not a fiordilatte mozzarella.. is better when you said the true like this the costumers is not expected the pizza whit this ingredients

I order the pizza by just eat.. before this order i reed to many reviews about the pizzas, all good but I'm not agree.. they said is cooking on the wood fired oven and is not true.. they said used the fiordilatte mozzarella and is not true.. on the end is a normal pizza like every place do exactly the same.. I'm really unsatisfied

Good taste but service is not met my exceptstion.

Ordered the giardiniera for delivery and it arrived within 30 minutes. The pizza was a good size, and had a generous amount of toppings. There wasn't much (vegan) cheese on it but the broccoli greens, artichokes and olives were so tasty that it didn't really need cheese. The crust had a really good flavour to it, which in my opinion is the sign of a good quality pizza. The giardiniera was the only vegan option but it was delicious so I'll definitely be getting pizza from Arthur's again 😀

Amazing pizzas will come back and recommend

I went in on Monday for 2 for 1 pizzas with a friend. We was very impressed! Food was amazing. Lovely wine. Felt really relaxed and cozy. The woman serving us was lovely and quick service despite being rushed off her feet and the only one serving! All of the tables came around the same time as us and she was very good at handling the rush while still being polite and making sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely come back! The food, the service and just overall experience was impeccable. The only note is not having the first wine I wanted to try but that’s a small thing! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try.

Scamners! They will steal your money. They have the Monday "two for one pizzas". Then they'll charge the two pizzas and only offer you the starters (and argue, oh, the garlic bread is considered a a pizza by the system...). That's plain stealing. Not coming back.

I paid 2 pizzas and I received just one. The food was cold and wasn’t delivered on time

A delight of pizzas. It has definitely become our favourite place. This is a real Italian pizza. The dough is delicious. The the squid side was quite small for the price, the dessert was very small as well. If I repeat, it will be for the pizzas.

2 pizzas was great, unfortunately there was spinach instead of broccoli on mine, which I don’t like.

Popped in here for a coffee and as it was so warm and the staff so friendly,I stopped for an Aperol Spritzer. A good menu.

I discovered this place the last I came to London from Melbourne last year, came back to it again as I have returned and the pizzas are still just as lovely. Delicious Giadinera pizza (the pizza I regularly get) that is very flavourful. Great service and love the atmosphere, would 100% recommend to anyone looking for gourmet pizza at reasonable prices.

The kids Mac n cheese was horrendous, watery, terrible consistency

The pizza itself was (and is always) amazing from Arthur’s. Ordered before the kitchen closed at half 9 and just eat had no drivers, although kept saying it would be made when they found one. By 10pm we thought it was a lost cause and by 10.30 had given up (no updates on the app) but couldn’t cancel without paying the full fee. At 11pm it arrived without warning and was stone cold. If just eat can’t fulfil the order they should cancel, rather than delivering inedible food.

My new fave!! Lovely setting, delicious sourdough pizza and really friendly staff with efficient service. Dog friendly too!!

If you are going to add a 12.5% service charge, you must give good service. I have contemplated asking for the charge to be removed from my bill after long waits to be served and slow service even when very quiet. Its a shame as the food and location is perfect and the manager is lovely. Either employ more/better staff or remove the charge if you can't deliver the service!

They have on of the best pizza I have ever had in London. Delicious!

It’s a tough one this because the food was pretty good and overall it wasn’t a bad experience but the service was I have to say average, if not a little bland. The main issues were that it felt like the customers were not necessarily a priority, possibly more an inconvenience apart from the bar person who was helpful and smiling throughout. There was a random nonchalant looking girl slouching at a customer table on her phone playing various loud Tik Tok type reels like she was at home on the sofa. She didn’t talk to anyone or seem to be doing anything connected to the restaurant all? The place is worn down with paint peeling on the walls, threadbare and uncomfortable sofa seats that looked grime filled and overall it just felt tired. As I said, the food was good but not sure I’d go back again due to the overall feeling and lack of real interest and passion for the place or customers..

What a fantastic experience! The atmosphere is chilled and conducive to conversation. Massive playing area out front for the kids in good view for the parents. Staff friendly and accommodating - we were a party of almost 20 at short notice - and the food .. amazing quality / quantity with a good drink selection. Will definitely be coming back.

Im sure the pizza was nice when it left the restaurant unfortuantely it took a long time to collect and even longer to deliver with the driver getting further away at one point.

While the food is ok this restaurant has gone very down hill. Very poor service, a mess up on the order, a long wait for drinks, disappointing pricey for what it is.

u forgot our garlic bread yet still charged us for it ??

We have been to Arthur's Pizza many times when visiting Twickenham but not for a little while. We were disappointed to see that it has changed hands and that the whole friendly, buzzing atmosphere we enjoyed many times before has gone. The pizza was still good but the choices are limited compared to previously. Sadly we won't be back again.

Awful. An item was missing off our order. The restaurant has admitted it was their fault but claim they cannot get the missing order out to us now. I need a refund for the £14 for the missing item (1 x Melanzane).

Was glad I finally got a chance to try this out a couple of weeks ago...great service...lovely pizza....my friend was very pleased to be able to take home his leftovers......I found it too moreish and figured I shouldnt really be taking crusts home. Negatives....well there was perhaps too much crust with nothing on it...still tasted nice but felt you were just gorging on bread....also olives...we asked for a bowl while we chose...they were really delicious..I don't know why they are not a menu item....didnt pay attention to price of the olives..they were perfect....going tonight to try a different pizza...

Had an amazing pizza at Arthur's last Friday night. Very high quality indeed. Starters very good, ditto the single dessert our party took, a very acceptable brownie with cream and salted caramel ice cream. The service was capable and friendly.

We always go here and it's such a lovely restaurant . There is a relaxed family feel to the place and the food is really great aswell . Lovely pizza and garlic pizza bread 👍

Finally ordered from this place after so many years! I wouldn’t get pizza from anywhere else now. The food was delicious, the pizza was reasonably priced (especially compared to other restaurants) and it arrived hot!

Had the loveliest evening - accommodated us at very short notice, wonderful food & great service. Our dog was also spoilt rotten & had the night of her life!

Delivery took a lot longer than it was saying when I ordered. Pizza tasted nice but was cold.

Popped in today and so glad I did! The food has got so much better and was a really relaxing environment. Star of the show was the Tiramisu! One of the best I have ever had, so much improvement from the last time I was here. Thanks guys, Ill be back for the football!

Great place, great food and friendly staff

As a local, I emailed the manager last year instead of a review (obviously they didn’t give a toss). Upon returning recently, this place is beyond repair. It’s also confirmed that the owner and management do not give a toss. They’ll reply to this pretending to… The type that’ll blame the staff. I reckon I could’ve had a heart attack on the spot and it wouldn’t be enough for the waiters to pop to the table. Need to order? Empty plates? Drinks empty? Nope. Everyone huddled behind the bar chatting, allergic to service. Weekend at 7pm. Place is empty and I’m not surprised. Pop chart songs blaring? Lights on full tilt? What a vibe. Manager flat out chilling on a table like it’s the YMCA. It’s a shame what has happened to a once great place. So much potential. Shame on the owner and the person running it. Sheer laziness. Sit back and take in the odd 18th nobody else will and watch the Deliveroo drivers roll in I guess? A generous 1 star because using a wine measure to pour a glass of Prosecco did make me laugh. I hope someone with a bit of heart & pride in their work will take it over eventually.

I totally recommend Arthur’s for a private party. It is a really intimate space ideal for around 70 people, with a DJ, the furniture was moved to give plenty of standing/ dancing. As it was a nice evening our guests utilised the seating outside overlooking the green, with it’s pretty festoon lights it made for an absolutely brilliant venue. The food (arancini and bruschetta and slices of the most delicious wood fired pizza) kept coming out and was all eaten by our guests. The bar was well run and well stocked, even making a signifier cocktail for our guest. The manager Antonia and her team went the extra mile in accommodating our every request, and even suggested things we would not of considered. We used their projector and they took care of managing all the party decorations. Antonia even took lots of photos and videos on the night, she was brilliant. Thank you Arthur’s, it was a very special and very fun night, enjoyed by all that attended. I would have more parties here for sure.

Had to wait for the waitress to finish texting on her phone before I was served, then had to get my own cutlery for my food, asked if I could take away my leftovers and had to box it myself. Then they charged my £ 2.80 for service, what service? :(

Had an awful experience today. We had to wait for the waitress to finish texting before she took our drinks order. When our food was delivered it was left without cutlery which we had to get ourselves from another table. At the end of the meal when we wanted to take some leftover pizza away we were just given a box to do it ourselves. And just to add insult we were charged £2.80 service charge for the privilege. Definitely won’t be going back.

Great pizza, but a bit annoying that the staff always sit at the best table for their break meaning us customers can’t nab it!

Had a great pizza stopping in on a Friday for a pizza with my family. Maz our server was really lovely and gave us great recommendations for pizzas. Even had gluten free bases for my husband who has an allergy. Good value for money and good service.

This is a lovely place. The pizzas are excellent. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. Whilst there is only one vegan option, it is a really good one. I have no problem ordering it again and again, and... Again.

Americana pizza was really good, Salsiccia E Friarielli was a bit cold so I reheated it in the oven but the cheese was still quite stodgy, I didn't realise there was no sauce at all so it was quite dry and I didn't end up finishing it. That might be my fault for not knowing what to expect but just be warned that there's no sauce at all and the cheese is a bit rubbery!

Very decent pizza, which would be worthy of 4 stars. Do not order tiramisù: inedible, trust me, should not be called tiramisù. Forks for it were thrown on the table by a rather disrespectful member of staff. Could have been great, but these two things really ruined the experience.

Delicious pizza, piping hot & super speedy!

Stopped by for a quick bite ,,, only one other table of customers but I found it quite slow for a pizza … was this a sour dough pizza ? I’ve had many and the crust told me it wasn’t .. it was pleasant but I’ve left 3 stars which should be 2.5 … why ? I ordered a kids Mac n cheese for £6 … I saw the chef put some cheese onto pasta in a plastic container and poured in milk/cream and put it into the microwave & that there was the Mac n cheese ,, I’m still shocked ( cheese had barely melted and Luke warm dish came to the table) this is unacceptable & I feel robbed ! And 12% service charge for a quick lunch with Luke warm service ,, first time ( & last for everything) … it’s the kind of place to sit with a drink & admire the Green

Lovely people; lovely pizza! Wandered down from our AirB&B to get pizza for dinner as I read they have gluten free base and vegan cheese (and I have such needs). Got there, and there was a private event that had most of the restaurants, so there were no tables and, sadly, no takeaway. They suggested another Italian place just up the road but I said, thanks, but they don’t have gluten free. So, the waiter checked with his manager who agreed to make a takeaway. So kind!! So greatly appreciated, and delicious! Great experience!!

Great place to have a proper fresh baked pizza! Next to the green so the dogs and kids can run free while the adults drink and watch! They also offer gluten and vegan free pizza that helps us a lot. Not many places have vegan and gluten free pizza.

The service is hit and miss at Arthurs. I have had good experiences, but the last two times it's been a slog. I was met by an indifferent waitress. Led to a table with a friend and left. I called her over to order some wine. She took the order and did nothing about it. A man got served a drink before me, despite just turning up. He told me he had phoned ahead for his drink (must have known what to expect). I asked the other waitress if we could have our drinks now. She sort of shrugged and we didn't get it. After another five minutes or so we left. Shame. It can be nice there, but the staff need to be taught how to serve and make their customers feel relaxed . I noticed another man was served his food and then his drink came. The waitress said, have you not been served your drink yet, and he said no. He has more patience than me, clearly!
