The best restaurants serving Italian food in East Hertfordshire East of England

Had a delivery from yourselves tonight and was a bit disappointed with it. The pizza and garlic bread were not very warm, in fact they were a bit cold. The chicken wings on the other hand were very warm???

The evening was okay. Service was good although felt a bit unfriendly, perhaps they were busy. Our starters and desserts were nice. We had Melanzane Alla Parmigiana and Funghi Fritti to start and for desserts we had the Pear Cheesecake and a Chocolate Fondant with ice cream. We had x 2 prawn pasta mains that were very bland - one of which was Tagliolini al nero di seppia con gamberi (black pasta with prawns and a cherry tomato sauce) and the other which was the Tagliatelle con gameri spinaci (prawn and spinach pasta) and believe me it was just that - no seasoning, nothing. Two very ronseal mains with nothing extra - I was expecting more. We were quite disappointed after hearing such great reviews so not sure I'd visit again and if I did I wouldn't have a pasta dish.

I only give 1 star because I cannot give 0. Very rude staff. I was there to pick up an order, one of the girl was chatting with other person about privet things and the girl behind the counter was very slow and unprofessional. Never again.

I very rarely write bad reviews but this pizza was awful, we didn't even finish it. The dough was so undercooked and soggy, the mushrooms were really chewy and difficult to bite into, and we thought the whole lot was so flavourless. £25 wasted. Very disappointed, there are plenty of much better pizza places in hertford

Hadn't booked so was pleased to get a table and even happier that it had air con (was a hot day). Meal was good and service had been timely. Waitress wasn't the friendliest and had a stern, hard looking face but we didn't think anything of it until we got her attention to ask for the bill. She turned, huffed at us and then went to dart off again before my Husband had been able to finish explaining that we had a discount code to use. My Husband therefore called out "excuse me" to her as we didn't want her to waste her time doing the bill only to then have to re-do it but she came over and blatantly rolled her eyes at us! We couldn't believe how rude she'd been and for what reason?? Needless to say, no tip left and would avoid going back to this branch. I don't know the waitresses name but she had a foreign accent and was wearing bright pink. Shame her personality isn't as bright as her clothing.

My partner and I visited the restaurant for the first time on New Years Eve, the restaurant is decorated amazingly and the bar staff were very friendly welcoming us. We were showed to our table and after 5 minutes or so our order was taken, within not even 10 minutes our drinks and starters came out. Our starters were amazing and shortly followed our mains, I am vegetarian and when I ordered my main I asked for the dish without chicken, the waitress said she would make sure with the kitchen if that’s ok, she never came back so we assumed it was fine, when my main came out it had chicken in, a different waiter kindly took the food back to the kitchen and a few minutes later it was replaced. The waitress that originally took my order came to see where my food was and I explained it came with chicken she said ‘Oh’ and walked away - that was the first rude encounter. The whole time during our meal there was 4 screaming young children running through the restaurant they knocked into my partner three times and were disturbing the other diners too, the children were family to the waitress and there was a table with a few adults on again family of hers so they were getting her full attention and the rest of us were left waiting, there was many other things that happened during our visit and we were absolutely appalled. The service was shocking but from that one waitress in particular she was so rude to us and the other diners, a group of 8 were sitting next to us and when they tried to ask her a question she simply said ‘HANG ON’ and walked away they all looked shocked. We were never offered more drinks and wasn’t even offered a dessert menu. When we eventually got someone’s attention to ask for the bill we then waited over 20 minutes to receive it. As we were leaving the someone on a different table asked for the dish I had but without mushrooms, the waitress started laughing and said ‘I’m only laughing as someone just ordered it with no chicken’ and started joking about my order very loudly next to us.

Decent branch, exactly what I wanted

My daughter ordered two pizzas that were not delivered. Nevertheless, my Visa credit card was charged 30 GBP. The seller on the phone said with the second order that the first order would not be charged! Till now, I have not received a credit note. Never again!

Called up 4 a delivery just a medium peperoni pizza and a coca cola 0,at lunch time ,i ve asked how much the total will be,24.99,,is this 4 real?24,99 ?i wonder how such a ridicoulos ammount can be asked,is a day light robbery ,so who ever pay this staggering overcharged ammount must be not aware that is just a pizza and a drink, and there is way better quality and better price just round the corner,google it !,as i dont want u to think im supporting other restaurant in the area ,is a ...disgusting experience to know this company charge this kind of money!if anyone else feel the same put a review as mine,,this company should not be allow to rip hard working people off!
