I ordered veg supreme pizza today and garlic bread and this is the best branch i can say to have pizza . Pizza was made soo brilliantly and it was well done . Loved it definitely coming again

I ordered two take out pizzas, the vege was fine the absolute banger was dry and completely tasteless I contacted Domino by email who requested further information that was two weeks ago and no further feedback, appalling customer service and poor quality pizzas, we recently moved from Epping and these pizzas are nothing like the Epping ones! I wouldn’t consider Bishops Stortford Dominos pizza again

Food poisoning. Had a bad pizza from these guys. Reported it to them and submitted their report form. Since then absolutely no response not even the offer of a refund. Wont be using them again. Just to update everyone it is now over two months later and still no response despite chasing. If they put this much care into a serious complaint imagine how much goes into your food!

Please don't eat here it's the worst place I've eaten at payed over £30 for a burnt pizza and cookies I hope it closes down and a proper pizza places opens up dominos is so bad now don't know how they even manage to stay open there is a lovely pizza place down the road in e17 go there and support the local business

Forgot to put any base sauce on the pizza. When paying dominos ridiculous prices. On a Friday night just wanted to relax have a pizza and expected it to have a modicome of flavour.

Absolutely 😋 delicious food but very fatty, greasy and bad for you. I do have mixed feelings on the drivers, sometimes they are nice other times horrible. A strange interaction happened with them every time I ordered once where after I asked them how they were they would reply "Living the dream"??? Strange. Furthermore I also received a strange call from them one day after I ordered, called back and they were clueless and said they would call back but never did. Seemed like a case of cold calling, they even left a voice message with no words!

Ordered from here a couple of times, unfortunately both times have been disappointing. The first I found chicken on my vegetarian pizza and tonight the order I got wasn't great at all. Luke warm food. Pizza missing the sauce on top stail crust, a raw potatoes wedge, burnt cookies. Not great. I have to say the customer service was good the first time when my pizza had chicken on it, tbe manager called back and they sent new pizza and extras to say sorry.

Dominoes Pizza is one of the best and cheap pizza places. Found almost everywhere, its pizza is delicious, while almost always offering great deals on it's mobile app. However, waiting time is a bit long. I usually order takeaway, but I've seen the restaurant, and it does look quite good.

We ordered a deal.. Pizza, chicken wings, dough balls & cookies.. Only three items were delivered.. No chicken wings, the delivery driver acknowledged this and said the chicken wings would be delivered separately.. an hour later still no chicken wings, I rung this shop, explained and was told they would definitely be delivered.. 9:50pm..still no chicken wings! The shop closes in 10 minutes. I shan't be ordering from here again..

Food was great but the delivery driver was an absolute joke. Pulls up music blasting and bangs on the door like King Kong then speeds of up the road like he stole the car. Why hire muppets 🤦🏻‍♂️

For the last 4 time I have ordered a pizza and specifically asked for tomato base and said it over 3 time to double check they do put tomato base on it but evrytime time they still put BBQ base on it tonight I asked 4 time for tomato as they always get it wrong and I still got BBQ base I really don't like BBQ BASE

The quicker this store stops their drivers blocking the pavement the better

So disappointing every time. Used to love a dominos but seems they just can’t cook a pizza, as in it’s literally raw every time. I have to cook it in the oven when it arrives. Now they also have the cheek to add delivery charge.

Amazing Customer service from the 2 young chaps in the store when visiting the store yesterday. One of them named Touheed, he showed extremely high level of Customer Service and ensured the surface was clean and no cross contamination as we don't eat pork. Our local Domominos is in Amersham, Buckinghamshire which we don't go to due to extremely high levels of poor service and rude staff. Amersham branch should learn from the staff at Bishop's Stortford store on how to provide good Customer Service and good quality of food and how to speak to customers. Once again thank you Touheed for the high level of servce and for providing quality pizza's we were extremely happy. Five Stars through out :-))

Horrible service , I have been waiting for 2 h for delivery tried to call them but no answer I had to go to pick up myself a pizza that have been sitting 50mins under the light

I ordered 2x pizzas a week ago, after a few minutes I got a call that it will take 2 hours. They asked if I want to wait or cancel it. I told them to cancel it as I didn't want to wait so long. Even after 4 days, still no refund. I called them and they promised it will be refunded within the next few days. Here I am after 4 days and still no refund! That's realy disapointing since I am a regular customer and they don't really care! Dominos Pizza, refund my money!

We first ordered shortly after the branch opened. Food was very late, cold, undercooked and lacking in toppings. I was sent replacements which arrived hot but very undercooked so weren’t eaten. Ordered again tonight and despite mentioning my previous bad experience, being assured teething problems had been overcome and food would be with me in 25 minutes - I received a freezing cold and undercooked pizza 1 hour later. The store is only 0.2 miles from my house so there’s no feasible reason for this. No real apology, the staff seem uninterested and the manager unapologetic. Dreadful. Won’t be ordering again!

Ordered on a weekday evening. After an hour and a half no sign of it. Phoned them they said it was on it's way out. One hour later still no pizzas. 3 hours later pizza arrived after numerous calls. Wrong pizzas. Awaiting refund

Pizza never came the first time and then called up to ask where it was and then said they'd knocked on the door and called but they hadn't. Ordered a pizza at 20:28 aware of 60-70 minute delay, hadn’t arrived two hours later, tried to contact but no answer. They called me at 22:40 to say that “it had been one hell of a night” and they were “short staffed” and as such they were “unable to deliver”. They offered a full refund and coupon but this is still a terrible experience!

Food arrived cold. I ordered the food online and despite filling in the box, which provides the driver with specific instructions (ie. We live on the junction if road A and road B), the driver managed to get lost.

Not a terrible place but not great, when compared to Papa Johns it is not the best. The ingredients are just not as nice and it feels and tastes greasier compared to Papa Johns.

Primer piso era genial, preparado muy bien - y pedí un cambio en el menú. El personal parecía contento por el ajuste, y no cobran extra! El ambiente es tipo de bistro elegante, pero que sacarlas de allí bien. lista de vinos es bastante bueno, y va muy bien con la comida. Recomiendo encarecidamente el calamares, y pollo escalopes!

Total Wrip. Fuimos por un conjunto sentarse comida con la familia había 30 de nosotros. Hemos comido allí antes y pensamos que la comida era buena. La comida era 42 libras por cabeza por lo que creo que sería una buena cantidad de comida no 4 king de gambas en el plato de entrante! El filete llegó con cubiertas de una sucia salsa seguido por 4 sí 4 nuevas patatas muy pequeñas. No las verduras en todo lo puedes creer. Todos estábamos sentados allí esperando a las verduras como el bistec en el plato parecía perdido y 4 pequeñas nuevas patatas seguramente no puede ser que no sea por 42 libras! Una pequeña porción de tarta seguido. Eso fue todo no había café sin verduras y en la parte de arriba de que tenían la audacia que cobran 10% de propina por persona. Estoy tan enojado con yo porque me pidieron que no hacer una queja y estropear la noche para el resto de la familia. Volveré a escribir una carta de queja. Este restaurante nunca volveré a. avariciosos bastardos.

Friday night meal for 2, bread overpriced, crust ends, too tough to eat, special prawn cocktail, below average, chicken and lamb main courses swimming in odd sauces/oil and a plate full of peas, coffee tasteless...all in all overpriced below average food

I come here for a nice romantic diner with my girlfriend and the food os delicious I had the gambaroni as starter and was just amazing and then I had the filet Rossini and I was so pleased with the test made my mouth watering and my girlfriend had the carpaccio as starter and she just love it then she had the pollo del chef she said was 1 one of the best chickens she ever had. and the service was great and friendly staff so we will come back again! It's very nice definitely recommend it

Came here with my boyfriend for a meal and we thought it was absolutely delicious! After coming back from a holiday in Italy this year it was lovely to find somewhere that serves authentic fresh Italian food! The filet steak was cooked perfectly and was a lot bigger than expected ! The salmon was also beautiful and cooked very well and the pasta very yummy.All the sauces went really nicely with the food and overall we had a lovely evening.Staff very friendly and we will definitely be returning !

So a few girlfriends had eaten here on Saturday. I had eaten here and had an ok experience. Our table was booked for 19:30, when the whole party had arrived we were seated quickly. All the normal things were done, drink orders, menus were given etc. we ordered some garlic bread for the whole table to share so we could nibble on whilst waiting for our mains. We were all given a starter each (not what we ordered) the waiter told us what the specials were as there wasn't a chalk board or any thing. Two from the party ordered mix fish. One of us ordered water and took a very long to arrive and she had to ask again. Our mains didn't arrive till two hours after we arrived!!! The food was lovely no problems there. When we got the bill we were shocked that the fish we had ordered was £30 EACH! We honestly felt we had been tricked, both would never of ordered if we knew the price. Also considering what we got for our money. Little piece if fish, few potatoes and mushrooms! When I told the manager this he just said 'o sorry next time we will tell you'. Completely ruined our night, such a shame as the food was nice but they brought extra garlic bread out and didn't or were no sign to tell us prices of specials!! Won't be returning!!!

After visiting here for a family meal one Monday evening I can safely say none of us will be returning. We thought we'd give it a go after hearing mixed opinions on the place but at 50% off we didn't have much to loose, or so we thought!! We arrived early evening so it wasn't busy at all, after ordering and waiting 30 minutes for 4 cold starters we asked how much longer we'd be waiting for them, 10 minutes later they appear, the so called bruschetta was actually served as a doorstep slice of white bread - not very Italian! The other starters were ok. We then waited another 20 minutes before having to ask how long our main meal would be, he insisted 2 minutes then came back out to ask how we wanted the steak cooked after already telling him when ordering, the restaurant was starting to fill up now so we did feel sorry for the people who had just arrived - they would have had a long wait ahead of them. 15 minutes later the mains arrive but not altogether, still having to wait another 5 minutes until they all reached the table. The risotto was like slop, the medium cooked steak was like a rubber insole of a shoe, the pasta dishes were dry and tasteless. The waiter did ask of everything was ok, we said the good wasn't very enjoyable, he offered to change what we wasn't happy with but we just wanted to get out of there at this point and wasn't prepared to wait any longer. He didn't apologise for the poor food that had been served to us nor did he take any of the half eaten food off our bill - good job it was a 50% off night! Also understaffed with a new waiter running around like a headless chicken not knowing what to do next. The restaurant itself has a lot of potential but is let down by all of what I've said above!

We visited on a Sunday when it was rather quiet so the service wasn't the hottest, although the food was amazing. I had the spag bol (best I've had) and the lady had the sea breem, both of which cost £6 each and both of which tasted sensational and were perfectly cooked. The ambience of the restaurant is rather strange but it's under new ownership so maybe they'll change that, they've got the most important thing right so far though! I'll definitely visit again.

I have lived in Stortford for a very long time and I'm always going to the same chain restaurants, but never thought to try Il Giardino until recently! I finally visited this restaurant last night and we wished we'd thought to do it sooner! My family are a group of very difficult eaters: my brother being super fussy, me having coeliac and my mum having various allergies! Despite all this the staff were so accommodating and offered to adapt the dishes to suit our wants and needs! I had chicken breast stuffed with mozzarella and asparagus in a white wine sauce with carrots and roast potatoes and it was delicious! Everyone was very happy with there meals, and we couldn't help but eye-up the steaks the people on the table next to us were having, which looked incredible (and I don't even like steak!!) It was really nice to visit somewhere a bit different, and certainly not your ordinary Italian (don't expect pizza to be on the menu!) I was very impressed with Il Giardino and I will be coming back soon!

My partners family live in Bishops Stortford and have visited Il Giardino for lunch and dinner. My perfect dinner is giant, includes pasta, creamy cheesy sauces and is accompanied by great wine. All gets a massive tick for me at Il Giardino. Italian is my favourite cuisine. However, It is a struggle to get an Italian restaurant that offers a great number of delightful old Italian favourites and dishes that comes in gigantic proportions, but Il Giardino delivers. The restaurant is plain in appearance compared to its delicious food, but is traditional and relaxing. The starters are amazing, especially the risotto balls in which are just awesome!!! I have never ordered the same dish and all have lived up to the expectations. The usual chains on the market does not offer anything close to the authentic and rich food that Il Giardino offers. I am looking forward to visiting again and will be attending with elastic trousers as usual!! Keep it up guys!!

The atmosphere was very nice in the restaurant I like d the way the chef cooked as you went I house the outside area was bistro like and welcoming staff were freindly however for a nearly empty restaurant service was slow in parts the steak special looked lovely we ordered but were told was none avaialble the.n ordered a second meal only to be told same as menu was changing they were winding down certain meals I commented on how it should not affect menu order our meal was huge portions well cooked expensive considering the fact that nothing ie potatoes veg salad came with meal all had to be ordered separately and paid for extra very disappointing I feel that the waitor who was helpful and advised us well should have offered us a look at the new menu or maybe customers who suffered because of the disappointing wait only to be advised this was now not avaialble should have open night maybe with taster menu we ordered profiteroles and were told when waiter returned these were not being served due to the fact they were still frozen we assumed many of the meals were cooked as this was family run restaurant which prides itself on Italian cuisine cheesecake which variety was it home cooked no shop brought would we go again the staff were good the food was actually tasty good value for money no thank god I had gourmet card which I would recommend atmosphere great but expensive meal would like to try new menu and prefer the meal included with potatoes or side instead of separate order all in all bit disappointing after bieng recommended the fact that 3 things we ordered were up avaialble made it a let down

The staff are the biggest plus in this restaurant. They are friendly, and fun, but very informative and helpful at the same time. Personally I cannot recommend my Starter, of Mushrooms, it was really, really salty? I like salt, but it was too much for even me...made me wince slightly, sorry. But as for the rest of the meal, it was very tasty. It did lack a bit of imagination on some meal options I thought. I had a Chicken breast in Prama ham with sauce, and it just came as a flat chicken breast with a slice of Parma ham and the sauce all over the top? I was expecting the breast to be wrapped in the ham, and sauce on the side...plus it was lacking in veg with the meal, all I got was the chicken in ham, no asparagus, or anything? Side dish of roasted Potatoes was extra cost, but they were nice.Someone got very confused with the drinks at one point, my friend asked for a glass of wine, a glass of lemonade, and a pint glass of ice....for some reason we got a massive pitcher of wine with lemonade in the glass and a few lumps of ice...but we did laugh, it looked very funny, but I cannot imagine a lady being served that and being lady like with it?We also asked for 2 glasses of wine, and the glasses turned up half empty, and cost us about £11.00? very odd?All in all, it is worth visiting Il giardino di Stortford, but ensure you are clear on your orders, and if your not sure about something, ask them to tell you how it comes and ask for extra if required, as they are more than willing to chop and change things for you.

I ate the crab and fresh tomato & chilli spagetti and it was very plain at the table. Then the next day I had horrific stomach pains and was in the bathroom all day. The people I were dining with weren't impressed with their meals either. My boyfriend ordered sword fish, it looked like microwave in the bag Birdeye cod. And the chips were 100% Mccains.Other than the terrible food, the service was good.

I had dinner at this lovely Italian family run business I found the service impeccable . I was very satisfied with food and the quality .I found it very clean and modern and a nice relaxing environment to be in the staff couldn't do enough for you . I do have one small complaint ,that there could be more choice on the menu as it did find it hard to choose but I ordered sea food spaghetti and was very happy with it I would of expected maybe some simpler dishes for the fussy eaters .. but overall very good I will be coming back .

The set menu was impressive and good selection offering 3/4 dishes each course.To start, we both had king prawns in a warm Sambuca sauce and garnish - very tasty!! My wife then had Ravioli (homemade Pasta) stuffed with mushroom/pesto with a wild mushroom sauce - very moorish and I had Seabream with an a complimented sauce and mini roast potatoes - again freshly cooked and enjoyable. For dessert we had Profiteroles, covered with an amazing chocolate sauce and fresh strawberries. The set menu was good value at £29.00 each and we had white wine with our meal, a bottle of Pinot was £15/£16 a bottle. Our complete meal for 2 persons with 2 bottles of wine, an after dinner drink each was under £100. We shall definitely return to explore and try their full seasonal menu, the restaurant manager was telling us all ingredients are fresh, the fish was fresh this morning from Billingsgate.....
