Enoteca Zero in East Hertfordshire

This was my first visit here, but my daughter chose it for a birthday celebration as she had been before. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful and while being relaxed and professional. The food was delicious (vegetarian, meat and seafood amongst our choices). I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a smart and pleasant venue in Ware.

This is our regular because the service is exceptional and the food is first class, also able to make food not necessarily on the menu eg. Garlic bread, atmosphere is very pleasant and immaculately clean, massive selection of wine with a wine cellar and menu. My husband recommends the oysters (always fresh) and the Tomahawk cooked to your liking. Pasta dishes are all home made and delicious 😋, a special shout out to waiter Stephano for always looking after us so well

Really good experience at Enoteka. Very impressive venue, looks great inside. Nice vibe and good music all afternoon. Service was perfect, very attentive and friendly. Went for the fillet steak and the seabass, very impressed.

Unfortunately not a great experience. Starter of mushrooms was raw. Tiny portions and quite surly service. Over priced for what it was. Lovely setting food didn't live up to expectations

Menu was fairly compact, however food was good, but the service was excellent, very bubble character looked after us well.

We booked a table for the night for New Years Eve and paid £60. When we arrived we was sat on what can only be described as garden furniture in a doorway on a private party. Nobody could get past us properly the table should never have been put there. We spoke to the owner who said he had shown us the table when we booked it. He would have had trouble as we booked it over the phone!!! He then proceeded to walk off not interested that we was unhappy. We left after 20 mins evening ruined and we was ripped off of £60. His attitude was a joke. Clearly only interested in getting money off people once he has it couldn't care less

A very warm welcome and our waiter was lovely, very friendly and professional. I had scallops for starter which were delicious, however for the price I would have expected more than 3 tiny scallops , my husband had the beef carpaccio which unfortunately was way to cold and as such lacked flavour. For mains I had chicken with green peppercorn sauce, roast potatoes and a side order of garlic and chilli broccoli it was excellent and the food was piping hot. My husband had stuffed sea bass fillets and that too was excellent. We didn’t have a dessert as we were full. One other negative was that the music was way too loud when eating dinner, but saying that I would definitely visit again.

I went to Enoteca in October 2022. We had drinks in the bar first, they have a wide range of wine/cocktails to choose from. The atmosphere was really nice and the staff were very friendly. We then went upstairs to the restaurant. The food was incredible! We had the scallops and soft shell crab to start. Then the steak and veal for main - I will definitely be visiting again!

Always stop for a cocktail when in Ware. Lychee martinis dont appear everywhere so my husband is in heaven! Bloody marys are delicious, not so the porn star martinis. Usually buzzing but last weekend the place was empty bar the staff - hope they survive.... Have also had lunch before & that too was delicious with great service - recommend for sure.

We visited this restaurant as two couples to catch up and the whole experience was amazing. We came a little early and the staff offered us to have a drink outside first which was nice. Then we were taken up to our table. It wasn’t overly busy which was nice. The food was amazing!! The aubergines as a starter were so nice. The menu isn’t big but I like that as you know the food will be great. Overall food, staff and atmosphere was great. Would definitely return.

We were looking for somewhere the family could celebrate our wedding anniversary, as we had previously had to cancel the celebration of my wife’s birthday the week before. This restaurant is close to where we live and was accessible by public transport, and without booking in advance. Great first impression, and welcome shown to a table, on the upper floor, and given menus, we advised of the gluten and soya allergies, and were told no issue, all the pasta meals, can be made gluten free, great start. Ordered starters and these arrived, unfortunately the gluten free starter had gluten in the dish, and had to be replaced. The food was tasty and well presented however. Mains were uneventful On to the deserts, where once again the gluten free option was presented with a gluten based accompaniment. We pointed it out and again it was immediately replaced, apparently the chef had changed since the start of the meal and was not aware of the allergies! The food was good overall, service acceptable, but the two slips on allergies is extremely disappointing, and could have been serious. Not sure we would give the restaurant another opportunity even though we are keen to support hospitality in general.
