What a wonderful place. Fantastic food and really good coffee. Very busy and buzzy. Popular venue. I had the salami and mozzarella panini and I can honestly say it was the best I have ever tasted. My friend had a bean salad and she was equally impressed with her choice. The staff were al lreally6 friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go again

We hired these guys to do our wedding breakfast. We had a New York theme and wanted to have a relaxed day with nothing too fancy so we decided on pizza. Heard great reviews so went ahead. The weather was beyond awful and the team struggled to cope. I was always worried it would rain and reassured they would set up the tent as close to the marquee as possible so the guests wouldn’t get wet. They couldn’t set up the tent because of the wind, something that hadn’t been considered. Overall they tried hard with the pizzas, cooking them then running them into the marquee but it was a shambles and people waited ages for pizza. In the meantime they ran out of side salads when we were only halfway through serving. I had ordered salads for 80 and was reassured it was enough food. We had 70 guests and still ran out only feed half of them. Embarrassing to say the least. We had to ask our evening caters to start serving early! When I wrote to them after the wedding to say thank you but i was disappointed I was simply told the guests eat too much not leaving enough for others.

Very friendly people, nothing too much trouble. Take our son's dog and they make a fuss of him. Delicious vegan cake available if you ask. Also do dairy free milk alternatives for coffee.

My daughter wanted pizza and Da Vinci Restaurant is the place for a nice one. The pizza was a very good size and the price level is very decent. My wife just had a starter which was delicious .Drinks were good value for money- the gin&tonic I won’t comment on. Service was very friendly and fast. The Restaurant is not really the place to stay for a long time - it could do with a bit more ambience- but it certainly delivers in terms of food!

Nothing bad to say about this place…we went for lunch on a Sunday and my only downside was that it wasn’t busier which I found shocking given what a fab experience we had. More people should definitely go here! We entered the restaurant and they immediately asked us if we’d like to sit inside or outside and as it was a sunny day we chose to go outside in their patio area which was beautiful, and better still well shaded where we sat so not too hot or bright where we sat. I’m sure it’s lovely sitting outside on a summer evening too. The ambience all round is nice, with pretty furnishings and touches and I’m sure this is a nice place to enjoy a drink or cocktail too. The service was exceptional here. My wife was in early stages of her pregnancy here and understandably nervous about what she could or couldn’t eat. The super helpful waitress went through the whole menu with my wife to explain what she couldn’t have or what dishes could be adapted by the chef. As this was my birthday meal, this extra effort to put my wife at ease was superb. More importantly the food we had was delicious…my wife enjoyed a pizza that was adapted to be pregnancy safe and I had the very generous portion of salmon caponata which was delicious. The glass of primitivo red was fruity and pleasant and matched well with the caponata sauce (which was also lovely as it wasn’t overly olive driven in flavour). We shared a cute and yummy lemon posset for dessert. Overall £70-ish including a tip was well worth the money and I’d highly recommend this restaurant which is also housed in a pretty building in the centre of string. We will be back!

Tried this pizza restaurant in Berkhamsted for the first time for Bank Holiday dinner at 7.30pm. The whole experience was very strange. Not really sure how a restaurant like this exists in Berkhamsted as it is completely different to all other restaurants in the area. They didn’t seem to have anything in stock. There was one guy running the place. He said he only had 2 orange drinks left so my kids had orange and I had to go for a Diet Coke even though thats not what I wanted!! . How can a restaurant not have any drinks? I ordered Piccante pizza which should have had chilli peppers and oregano, sausage and red peppers on it. It came with only sausages and red peppers on top. So he clearly did not have the ingredients in stock to put on the pizza. What a complete joke! So it was just lots of red peppers with a few slices of sausages with no flavour at all. See photo. 2 kids and 2 adults we had 4 pizzas and 4 soft drinks for £63 which for a place like this is a complete waste of money. It was cash only so they don’t accept cards yet he did not have enough cash for giving change back. The whole experience was just odd. Not sure if we were there on a bad day or if its always like that but we will most certainly not be returning. When you order a pizza you expect all the ingredients specified on the menu to be put on the pizza!!

Tried to visit Francesco & Amorosa for another superb Italian meal, but found the restaurant closed. Oh no. We have been eating at Francisco's for a few years now and always have fantastic food served with passion and friendship. The end of an era. Wishing you both a long and happy retirement. Affectionately yours; Claudio (Ranieri), Sylvia & Da Grandson. All the very best....

I have been eating at fireaway pizza in the Marlowes Hemel Hempstead for a while now and I have to say they are the best pizza restaurant that I have tried in the town. The pizzas are amazing and aunthic always piping hot. The staff are very friendly and great to chat too. Other pizza restaurants that I have tried before change so much more and put on deals that make you want to go back yet are overpriced to start with so you are not actually making any saving. Fireaway charge you a good price for great service and great food. Thank you Fireaway.

We ordered a pizza, burger and chicken wings(see picture) a few months ago and it was delicious, then ordered again a few weeks ago and was ok, but when we ordered this weekend the pizza box was open, it was cold and there was a dead moth stuck to the box, when I rang to complain they said they will credit us and apologised. So far they haven’t refunded us, I’m a bit apprehensive about ordering again as it seems to have gone downhill fast. On the plus side, delivery was very fast on all occasions and when we first ordered the food was amazing & good value.
