Tried to visit Francesco & Amorosa for another superb Italian meal, but found the restaurant closed. Oh no. We have been eating at Francisco's for a few years now and always have fantastic food served with passion and friendship. The end of an era. Wishing you both a long and happy retirement. We had an early dinner here on Tuesday night and the wine, bruschettas, pizzas and coffee were all absolutely yummy and the welcome from the owners was really appreciated. I don't write reviews very often but felt this restaurant should have an excellent one.

We visited the restaurant like I always do with friends and it’s a hidden gem. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Franco and Amarosa. I have fussy friends who don’t like a lot of herbs and spices on their food so when they ordered they asked not to have these specific things in their dishes. I always thought white sauce dishes were full of cream hence why they are creamy sauces, after all it’s Italian and the chefs on tv use loads of the stuff! If there is anything mentioned in the dish on the menu that you don’t like to have in your meal just speak to them they will happily take out the herbs, mushrooms and anything else that you don’t like! Just ask if you have issues or are unsure with items on the menu they will quite happily explain how it’s prepared and what’s in it.

This is a cosy little family restaurant with charismatic and sociable owners who kept us entertained. The food however was variable. The chicken in white wine sauce was delicious but the beef in red wine was over seasoned and had far too many herbs, while pasta dishes in white sauce were too creamy.

Absolutely amazing, the food was exceptional and they were super friendly and could cater to your every need. Honestly would recommend to everyone. One of the best Italian restaurants known to man!

What a lovely gem we found in Tring! The restaurant is cosy and looks like an old Italian trattoria. The owners are kind, smiley and very warm. Francesco is a true character! Food is great, I'm Italian too and I must say that the meatballs tasted like the ones made by my grandma! Pizza is delicious too. We also had the home-made tiramisu and it was divine. Service is quick and portions are huge. Absolutely worth a visit if you are in Tring or, like us, are there to visit the National History museum.

We’ve moved to the area earlier this year and I’ve had my eye on this place for a while. Tonight we went there with family and it did not disappoint. Wish we’d tried it sooner and we’ll definitely be back for more! Welcomed like old friends, we enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the service. The highlight for me was the panzarotti, so happy to have this on the menu! choosing a meal was difficult as it all sounded so good, and as food came out to other tables we could see what we might try next time. Excited for our next visit.

Fun Italian restaurant run by a total character. We live locally and go here regularly. It's not posh at all, and i believe it's authentic. They've always been friendly and accommodating and we'll keep going back.

We have been to Francesco's on a number of occasions and the food and service is always excellent. We come here once a year for the Ridgeway run and I only wish we lived a bit closer so we could visit more often. Thanks for a lovely meal again yesterday.

Awful. First night out for a long time having 2 very young children. The service was not only dreadfully slow, the staff were extremely rude. When ordering our mains I asked what they would recommend I was told "I don't have time for that now, just pick what you want".Also extremely condescending.It took forever to order our food and drinks and then to receive it.And then the food itself was meant to be authentic. It was not. A calzone with crusty pastry and basic bolognse and a carbonara with scrambled egg and chopped up bacon bits. The most basic food I've eaten in a restaurant.Yes they were clearly short-staffed and needed another waitress but then they shouldn't have let us book the table.I will never return here.

Excellent service and amazingly authentic food. Please give this small family a Italian restaurant a try you will not be disappointed! Even cooked me fresh GLUTEN FREE pasta. My friends and I had dinner at Francesco’s and we all agree it was just fab. Great atmosphere, amazing decor and the food was gorgeous, and reasonably priced. Between us we had prawn cocktail, which is served beautifully in a crisp lettuce leaf, fried liver with chips, which was cooked beautifully and was tender and delicious, the steak was so well cooked and well presented it was hard not to order a second but the portion sizes are good so no room for any more (or pudding). The Pizzas are a good size and really well cooked with a lovely base and plenty of toppings.The staff were attentive and everything was served with a smile!An absolute pleasure, we will definitely be back. Highly recommend it.

A throwback Italian restaurant with hearty portion sizes with the authentic Italian taste. The owners have big personalities and add a real charm to the place. Treated us really well!

We visited yesterday evening and had a lovely meal. Not sure about the megabits comments that have been allowed as this place is amazing. Food was home made and amazing and really reasonable, we found the staff really friendly and helpful. Will absolutely be going back for a second visit. It’s a little taste of Italy at home

My wife and I enjoyed a Sunday lunch meal on 05/09/21. I had the most delicious Sea Food Risotto with a hint of chilli. My wife an excellent escalope of veal. The desert a tasty tiramasu.We have dined in this restaurant over the years , its atmosphere, level of personal service from the owner has not changed. Always excellent and welcoming.Prices are set in the mid affordable range, suitable for families.A good well, packaged take away service is available--excellent for pizzas.

This was our first trip to Francescos and we love authentic Italian and we were not disappointed. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, very attentive and our food came out so quickly. The food was top notch and we loved everything!! Can’t wait to go back and work my way through everything on the menu. The vibe inside is very cosy and would be lovely for a romantic date too. Visited Francesco's with family and friends. We always receive a warm friendly welcome. The food is always amazing and so full of flavour and authentic. Went on a Saturday night to. A friends 70th birthday There were 16 guests at the party .I was taken aback by the unorganised shambles the whole night through . We had had to preorder our food a week before as group booking .As I was seated random starters appeared. On individual tables as all guests were in the same area but different tables so one starter arrived on my table and it was quite a time before others arrived .my main course was spaghetti carbonara . When it arrived it had parmasan cheeses all over it I was not asked if I wanted it ( I don’t like cheeses ) rather than create a fuss I thought I would mix it in but there was no sauce at all … our dinner was booked for 7 pm at 9 pm two guests still had not received their main courses everyone else had finished theirs . The owner was in a vest which looked like it had not been washed in a while , the staff were rude and surly. I ordered a vodka and soda but it was flat like tap water and other peoples tonics were the same . He shouted at the host of the party as well .the last thing is that the restaurant holds I would think about 40/45 people and yet there was only one unisex toilet in the whole place . ( is this even legal ) one guest on my table had veal escalope and it looked ok until he turned it over and found the underside black burnt . The chips were home made but they were dark brown so I imagine cooked in old pre used many times oil Every time you dared to ask the waitress for anything it was eyes rolled and huffing . I have never in all my days been in such a restaurant it was like faulty towers and the waitress Julie waters plays all rolled into one . I would never recommend this place to anyone the owner was the rudest man I have ever met in a restaurant complete and utter chaos . From start to finish . I felt so sorry for my friend as she had arranged this special night for her husbands 70th birthday and she was totally embarrassed by the evening .

Authentic Italian experience!! Been eating at Francesco’s regularly for the last 20 years. The world’s BEST spaghetti bolognese!

The restaurant was busier than normal for a Saturday night. The restaurant was inviting, clean and the staff was amazing considering how busy it was. Staff were friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. I read a post about the toilet being a problem as there was only one that had to be shared. This has never caused a problem for us before, it’s always clean and tidy and I had no issue in waiting for it to become vacant or sharing it with other guests. Franco and Amarosa are always welcoming, kind and friendly and have always been accommodating for their guests needs.This is a true Italian Restaurant which we have been going to for many years and I’d have no hesitation in recommending it to people. The food is always amazing!!! You’re doing a great job guys considering the awful time we’ve all been through.

I have been in this restaurant many time and have always left with a smile on my face.The owner' s take really good care of you. The pizza's are the best I have tasted and well worth the money. Their fries and potatoes are the best I have had. I have never had a bad meal there or a bad experience. This evening I went there with my daughter and 8yr old grandson. They really looked after him and he enjoyed himself very much. I am looking forward to going on Friday to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday as I know she will have a lovely time.

An earlier conversation with the owner left me with eager anticipation of an evening with friends at Francesco's last Saturday. My wife and I arrived to find an a homely restaurant setting with lively Italian music booming out. We were all set for a fun evening...Our friends arrived - who we had not seen for a long time - and stood to greet them. Instead we were instantly approached by the surly owner gruffly telling us all to sit down and order our food as they were busy that evening. We meekly complied, taken aback by this strange attitude and, quite frankly, rudeness on the part of 'mine host'.It got worse, the owner stripped off to a singlet vest top and roamed about the restaurant bellowing orders to his small staff who clearly were in fear of him. We asked a poor lady waitress if the music could be turned down a tad so that we could hear ourselves speak. She rolled her eyes and declined to approach the boss....In an earlier conversation prior to booking, the owner had assured me that all the food used in the restaurant was fresh. Absolute rubbish! We chose squid or antipasta to start and as far as the squid was concerned were presented with something that did not look like squid. It may have been squid - it was difficult to tell but it was very ordinary and looked reminiscent of something from the freezer chest in Aldi. The antipasta was topped with nothing less than a bit of tinned salmon!This was followed by our mains. I was looking forward to my spaghetti marinara. What I received was a pile of steaming hot spaghetti, very al dente, on which a tomato flavoured pasta sauce had been slopped. If one looked carefully one could find the odd small prawn, an occasional small mussel or a squid ring. All very reminiscent of what one would find in a bag of frozen seafood. So much for fresh!The food was left on the plates largely uneaten. The surprising thing was that the staff were not surprised we had left it and did not query whether there was a problem! The bill - £115.00 - paid very reluctantly but we just wanted to leave it was all so appalling.A disappointing and embarrassing evening. The atmosphere in the restaurant was tense and unpleasant, the food, such as it was, decidedly below expectation.Our first visit to Francesco's. Very poor experience; we will not be coming again, not only because of the food but the owner's unpleasant manner and rudeness!

We went to this restaurant on Saturday night for a friends birthday party. When we arrived we were forced to separate our party. We were not asked if we wanted drinks. My friends wife was given a pad and pen to act as drinks waitress for her own party! The drinks were dreadful with flat mixers from old bottles in horrible glasses. Our food was pre-ordered as we were a party of 16. The starters were delivered one at a time by a very surly waitress. The owner was actually dressed in an old vest and sweating profusely while serving. The owners wife could only prepare one drink at a time. The wine was not in ice buckets and when asked for we were given a plastic wine bucket half filled with water and approx 4 small ice cubes. By the time our main meals came we were fearing the worst, and we were right to do so. The food was absolutely disgusting. Some of the orders were wrong and the owner became very aggressive towards the lady who had organised the party for her husband. Everything went downhill even more from then. I dread to think what the kitchens were like by the state of the restaurant. There was only one toilet cubicle for the whole restaurant to be shared by men and women! By the end of the evening it had become laughable. I have never been in such a disgusting restaurant in my life and hopefully never will again!! Dirty, terrible food, slovenly staff and a nasty atmosphere!! I just felt sorry for our friends who had booked it who spent the whole evening apologising to their guests. I think the environmental health should pay them a visit!!!! Horrendous

We're always made to feel very welcome by Francesco and Amarosa, it feels like we've walked into a local restaurant in Italy! The food and wine were delicious as always and at the end of the evening we left feeling happy and full.

I've been a regular visitor to this restaurant for the past 20 years and it's still my first choice when I go for an Italian meal. The food is excellent, traditional Italian fayre, and all freshly made. The lovely familial Italian atmosphere is a joy. It is a little tucked away, but well worth finding, on the left, just as you drive into the main car park off the high street. I always recommend Francesco's to my friends and relatives and have always been thanked for the recommendation. I hope that Francesco and Rosa will continue serving us delicious Italian food for years to come.

Another fantastic meal at this lovely family-orienteers place. We’ve been 3 times now and each time had a great experience. It’s not for everyone. If you are in a rush, need to grab a quick bite before heading to the theatre (darling), or are otherwise of an impatient or entitled disposition, then it’s probably not for you. But if you value being looked after, in a ‘non branded’ setting, enjoying home-cooked food with a love that can only come from a family business like this, and an “atmosphere” that comes from the passion of owner managers then you will try this place once and keep coming back I promise! I think that’s why (I suspect), a lot of customers are a core band of loyal ones. We are certainly in this bracket now. Us and all the kids! Food is all home cooked and lovely, the hardest part we find is choosing from the fantastic menu!!

What a find this was yesterday evening. We booked at the last minute to go early as we were going to Tring theatre. The owner, Francesco himself, was very accommodating as we could tell it was going to be busy later. The service was impeccable, a friendly, family welcome and swift service ( which we needed to get to the theatre!). I have lived in southern Italy and (until recently) have visited the region regularly, so I was absolutely delighted to find real, authentic, wonderful Italian food! The pizza was really so true to the taste of its home in Naples and my spaghetti vongole was fantastic! The house wine again was reasonably priced and Italianate. We will definitely be back to enjoy a more leisurely meal and look forward to the warm ambience, the welcoming owners and most of all the fantastic food.

Been coming to Francesco for years and everything is freshly made and nothing is OUT OF A TIN !!!!!! People think that the spaghetti is from a tin which I for myself it’s not ! Why people think that the staff are not friendly I know myself they are and they make me and my family very welcome. From some of the reviews that I have read that the owners found this very offended. I also can’t believe how we’ve just come out of a pandemic and reviews I’ve seen are trouble . If anyone wants a tin of spaghetti please go and get one from Tesco and enjoy eating ur Heinz spaghetti !!!!

We had a great evening, food was excellent and very traditional, a fantastic atmosphere and very relaxed. Owners are true Italians and are passionate in what they do. We will be back for sure as this is great value for money.

Astonishingly good food that is truly authentic Italian served by a passionate proprietor. You always get a dish that has been cooked with skill, no matter what you desire; pasta, pizza or whatever. This is a popular restaurant so best to book whenever you visit. Why would you go to a chain when you can get the real thing in Tring, cooked to your liking. Looking forward to taking our Grandson back to Francesco’s as he loves the Pizza. A marvellous child friendly restaurant. Great stuff.

A local family run restaurant who welcomes all. We were visiting Tring and stopped for some traditional Italian food. The people were lovely, the food was great and such a lovely atmosphere. Would recommend to all!

I would expect from a traditional Italian to have high standard, warm and polite service and homemade and hearty food. Not chips on the side for every meal. Food quality is to desire - something you would find in a British resort abroad versus proper traditional restaurant. The owner is beyond rude and often making people uncomfortable.Not respecting COVID-19 regulation with tables very close by to one another and staff not wearing masks.

What a delight this little place is. I came across Francesco's, searching for somewhere to eat that evening whilst visiting Tring.I am so glad we picked it.The restaurant has a quaint and homely feel, service was excellent, friendly, funny,and helpful.The menu was extensive and it was so hard to choose, but I chose what turned out to be the best Spaghetti El Aglio I've ever had. Spicy, and full of flavour.The hosts were just a delight. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone in the restaurant, children and adults alike. I have no doubt it's a local treasure amd I only wish we had one locally ourselves!We will definitely visit the area again, and this will be our first restaurant booking without a doubt.Thank you!

Since our hibernation ended on 1st August (one day "Shielding", the next not - go figure?) We made for Francesco's. It was brilliant to catch up with the delightful Amorosa and the genuinely passionate about his food, Francesco. They are a great combination who know how to give excellent customer service at all times. My wife had the Canelloni, Grandson the Napoli Pizza and I had my usual Penne' A'rrabiata with extra chilli and garlic. Either a bottle of Peroni or a glass of House Red are great accompaniments to the meal.All were superb. Fantastic authentic Italian restaurant which is well worth a visit.

We had a lovely lunch at Francesco’s while visiting Family. Very pleased with the service, and the food we had. I had the Carlo pizza which was dreamy, generous and affordable! The owner and staff were extremely pleasant, and welcoming. Our food was delivered quickly and served hot. The desserts were too scrumptious.. especially the lemon sorbet which was well presented in a lemon! This is a cute spot with great food and many options for choice. I strongly recommend and I think it’s safe to say I’ve found my new favourite spot!

First visit to Francesco’s and will 110% return!Was greeted by the owner himself, Franco. Very very warm welcome before be seated and being given a good run down on what he would recommend from all sections of the menu. Service was great, nothing was too much and didn’t have to ask for anything, Franco was a great host/owner. The food matched the service and more. Great flavours and you could tell the ingredients were of good quality. Given all that is going on with COVID, measures were being followed and felt comfortable eating there. More so that other restaurants I have visited over the past month. I’d visit again. Good restaurant

Few years ago I was working as a delivery driver and used to deliver food to Francesco's, this is how I found this amazing place. Since then, myself and the family are enjoying the lovely dishes and amazing atmosphere Francesco's restaurant offering every time we go there.The owner and his lovely wife are very friendly and always happy to see us. I have to admit...Francesco's has the best pizza I ever had in my life! (and I have been in many places & countries...including Italy or Joe's Pizza in NY, etc ..).I do strongly recommend Francesco's !

Simple, well put together Italian food served with a good sense of humour. Well priced menu and busy. Friendly staff who were clearly dedicated to providing quality service to their customers. Would visit again if we were in the area again!

My husband and I went for dinner at this "recommended" restaurant. The first thing that stoke us was the low hygiene standards especially during the times of COVID-19. The jag of water was brought to table with a thumb in it (same "finger-in-the-food" service on other table), the water glasses were covered with fingerprints and traces of tomato sauce. I saw a lady-owner passing a fork to a customer holding it by its prongs! I didn't even want to think if she washed her hands... However, this didn't stop us ordering food there, unfortunately. We ordered pizza, it was not bad except it was unbaked on a side (photo below). No mask wearing when serving food but talking right over the plates... Did we enjoy the spit-splattered pizza? I am no longer sure...

My boyfriend and I visited Francesco's last night. I've lived in Tring for many years but had never been before. The ambience was welcoming and friendly... much more pleasant than some of the other restaurants/pubs in Tring and the surrounding villages.We both had bruschetta to start, and then I had the vegetarian gnocchi and my boyfriend had the lasagne. The food was lovely and fresh - proper Napoli flavours. We were very satisfied and the restaurant was reasonably priced. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a tasty Italian and wants to support a local business! We look forward to eating at Francesco's again soon. Thank you.

Very friendly restaurant, we went to celebrate a birthday and they let us store the cake without any issues. The food packed full of flavour, and cooked well. The prices were very reasonable too. Only minor point was my meal was a little too oily for my taste but this is a personal preference and otherwise I can't fault the food.

Visited for a birthday meal with a friend. Francesco's is super easy to find and has parking very nearby. We were greeted warmly and served quickly. The lady who served us was chatty and bubbly. Portion sizes were amazing and my steak was cooked perfectly (even though the waitress joked I wanted it done 'wrongly' ie. Well done!) Joking aside, it was a lovely meal, good value for money and very traditionally Italian inside. The only downside was that there was only us and a couple inside meaning it was a bit quiet. I think this is probably just because we visited on a weekday though.

Francesco's is everything I love about family-run Italian restaurants. The service is personal - nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious - there was as much seafood as there was pasta. And the house wine is very drinkable. Everything, in fact, is done with passion and a personal touch.

Had a fantastic meal, great value for money. The food is home made traditional. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Can not fault the restaurant at all and the sever was brilliant.

In the area and following recent excellent reviews of Francesco's we decided to give it a go. The welcome is warm and genuine, the place was reasonably full and things looked promising. Unfortunately the food is distinctly average. The calamari is in the shape of fish fingers and presumably cooked from frozen, the bread comes pre-buttered and it would be my guess that if you had been coming here since the 1970s you would have seen little change. There are clearly a lot of regulars who are entirely satisfied with this, but please don't go expecting fine Italian cuisine. It is what it is, cheap, cheerful and really that's it.

Francescos' is fabulous! We were warmly welcomed by the owners into a bright summery feel restaurant, on a January night! Cathy and I were away for a couple of days on an intensive work project and decided to venture out of our fabulous hotel, Pendley manor, for dinner. The staff at the hotel highly recommended Francesco's and they were right!We enjoyed everything about our evening, from our warm welcome, attentive service, and perfect pasta meal! Christmas Eve & Francesco's was buzzing. Full house, but the service was very very good. We were well looked after. All 4 starters & main courses were faultless. The only noticeable difference was the house white & red had gone up to £13.00 per bottle (something I had been advocating for a while now). Still most competitive with other restaurants' house wine prices + the food is really decent value-for-money. Good fun in there & set us all up for Christmas Day accordingly.

Visited between Christmas and new year. The owner (chef) and his wife (front of house) were super accommodating. The calamari starter was fab, and the pizzas were as good as I have eaten. Doggy bagged the stuff we could not eat. Very good value for money as well. Restaurant was really busy when we left with plenty of what would appear to be regulars. Would have no hesitation in returning again next time I am in the area.

Best family meal in restaurant for a long time. Ticked all the boxes for us and our two children ages 4 and 10. Very tasty food, fresh and generous portions. Feels like home to home every time we visit! Thank you

After reading good reviews on Trip advisor we were disappointed with the standard of food at Francesco’s. I chose the risotto which did not resemble a risotto in any shape or form. It was simply dry and undercooked rice in a tomato sauce. Nothing like my father used to make,and what I’ve tasted in my travels around Italy. My friend had the chicken cacciatore which was better than the risotto, but the chicken was bland and dry. The food gave off an abundant amount of steam, suggesting it had been microwaved. The deserts were ok but did not seem homemade, but instead the type of puddings you would get from a catering wholesaler. However, the lady running the restaurant was polite and friendly, and the couple did seem to have a passion for their restaurant.

Just came in for a quick meal before my shift and i must say it was one of the best quick meals ive had in a long time the risotto was perfect ive workerd in plenty of kitchens and not had a perfectly seasond a flavourful risotto my compliments the chef and i fully recomend

We are regular customers at Francesco’s and this time my husband took some work colleagues to have dinner there.

My favourite place to come in Tring, never disappoints, fantastic food and I love always coming back time and time again. Thank you for looking after me so well. Will be back very soon ❤️

Booked a table for lunch prior to gin tasting at Campfire gin. Food was amazing, excellent service. Great food choice. Well worth a visit.

Lovely owners, incredible homemade authentic Italian food. And lovely atmosphere. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had a lovely evening.

Well cooked generous portions at a good price. Very friendly and welcoming. Good variety of food, wine and desserts.

Another tremendous meal at this supurb Italian restaurant. The Penne A'rrabiata was really special and one only Francesco can deliver. The Pizza is to die for and very filling. The Peroni wets your appetite and the House Red compliments the food perfectly. An authentic Italian restaurant run by 2 very special and passionate owners. Tring residents are lucky to have this marvellous piece of Italy.

Lovely little family run Italian restaurant with authentic Italian feel. Very small so you need to book as it gets really busy. Quick service and tasty food we had garlic bread with mozzarella that needed to be toasted as it was more like bread and the mozzarella lacked any flavour but the main course was delicious. I had chicken breast cooked in a white wine and garlic cream sauce with mushrooms and this was service with sautéed potatoes and small side salad. It had so much flavour and was cooked well. We really enjoyed our meals and would definitely go again, great value for money. Not much of a selection available for wine and the wine by the glass wasn’t great so I wouldn’t have that again but this wasn’t a problem as can just have soft drinks. Completely different to other Italian restaurants I’ve been to, I felt like I was in Italy. Would recommend

What an excellent find. I’m a big fan of traditional Italian restaurants and this one certainly delivered. The pizza’s were huge, the anti pasta was amazing and the pasta dishes were devoured by my two daughters. Great value and great hosts. I’d highly recommend it for a more authentic experience and a wonderful antidote to the sanitised chain experience that dominates the high street.

If you're not sure what to get, get the tagliatelle genovese. Lovely sauce to pasta ratio, good mushroom onion sauce with a smattering of salmon. Rich but no too rich. My best meal at francescos to date! Had the melon and parma ham starter (always good). The tiramisu for dessert was a triumph. Thought we were full but we weren't. Delightful.

Fantastic meals cooked to how you like, with such a family atmosphere you feel you are at home. You have to try there steak it is the best I have ever tried and I’m an ex RAF chef and have tried srpteak in many places. The whole visit and neal is just so good and relaxing. You are not hurried and there wine is top grade too. Coffee at the end is a must and everything is home made. Cannot get enough of this little piece of Italy.

A great evening at Francesco's - again. Cotoletta a la Milanese and Tiramisu - absolutely to die for..... at a cost for two less than the deposit required by another (new)Tring restaurant...!

The restaurant is next to a car park, so access is very good. The food is excellent. However, the owner(?) tries to be a 'character', which is a bit hit and miss. The biggest miss being him serving in a skimpy vest. He may have got away with this if he'd ever had a good figure. Unfortunately this is not the case now, by a long way. His wife(?) is a model of good service and goes a way to make up for her husband's sartorial taste.

Great food for a reasonable price, excellent friendly atmosphere. We had the spaghetti and the chicken and both were superb. Recommended.

Literally love visiting this restaurant. Its like the restaurant time forgot, but that adds to its charm. Good is delicious, staff are great and really make the evening

My Grandson’s favourite restaurant. We all had Pizza: Margarita, Francesco and Mexican with added chilli and garlic. All were sensational. We can never quite manage to finish all of our meal, but The delightful Amarosa packages our left overs to take home and eat later, which we did. If you like Italian food, cooked with passion in a charming restaurant, you won’t fail to be impressed by Francesco’s. A truly taste bud bursting experience.

We’re new to the Tring area and thought we’d try out this Italian restaurant - so glad we did! The service was friendly and personable, as a family we felt very welcome. The food came promptly and we felt very looked after. The food was full of flavour, us and our children we were happy and will definitely be returning :)
