The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Tuvimos una cena increíble en Gianino en Mayfair — este lugar clava la buena comida italiana sin sentirse relleno. El ambiente es super chic pero todavía cálido y acogedor. Incluso llegué a practicar un poco de italiano con el personal, lo que lo hizo sentir aún más personal. Honestamente me sentí como en casa. El ossobuco con arroz al azafrán era irreal, rico, tierno y lleno de sabor. ¿Y el aperitivo de pulpo? Absolutamente delicioso. Todo estaba muy bien hecho, desde la comida hasta el servicio. Si estás buscando italiano de primer nivel en Londres, Gianino es 100% digno de una visita.

Cocina de girasol en Maddox Lane no es el lugar para ir si usted tiene hiperacusia. Me encanta probar restaurantes especialmente independientes. Sunflower Kitchen es un hallazgo raro, ya que se encuentra en Mayfair, que es bastante inusual en esta época, pero hace muchos años probablemente había más de uno! De todas formas, mi primera visita, acabo de tomar té lo que probablemente les molestó. Solo tomé té ese día porque era demasiado ruidoso, así que podría venir en un día más tranquilo para comer. Volví cuando estaba tranquilo y pregunté si había salmón ahumado y huevos escalfados que vi en la tabla. El tipo dijo que estaba disponible y me preguntó si quería tostadas pero solo quería huevos y salmón. Cuando llegó, había tomates a la parrilla, aguacate en rodajas, halloumi en él, así que pensé que estaba allí para aumentar la factura de la comida, así que simplemente jugué con él para ver si ese era el caso cuando pedí la factura. Para mí, todo se trata de la experiencia gastronómica que reflexiono cada vez, así que cada experiencia de restaurante es memorable como este de los 10 restaurantes K+ que he revisado colectivamente en diferentes plataformas. Así que cuando llegó la factura, eran 18 libras. 95 que es de hecho un poco caro porque por ese precio se puede comer en mejores restaurantes. De todas formas, dije que solo pedí salmón y huevos, pero vino con halloumi, tomate y aguacates que no pedí, así que redujo la cuenta a £ 15. 95 que es un poco más razonable, supongo. Supongo que necesitan cobrar alrededor de 18 libras. 95 por cabeza para sobrevivir en esta época. Otro proyecto de ley de personas llegó a £ 18. 95 pero no sé lo que pidieron pero la comida que sirven es principalmente pastas, lasaña, sándwiches, etc que son de alrededor de £ 10. 95 en el menú del almuerzo. Irónicamente, su descripción en google dice "Tu honesta y local independiente porción diaria de panini fresco, pasta, ensaladas y más 🌻" ¡OK!

such a lovely restaurant. food was so lovely and the atmosphere was perfect. Ivan was so lovely and attentive! i would recommend anyone to eat here !!

When we arrived the restaurant was extremely busy, so we had a quiet drink at the bar, nice table for four. Food was excellent all courses. Yes we have a wait between them, but we like that when dining out. One lady did moan quite loudly and aggressively at the staff about the wait, which was uncalled for, but some people are just rude. The staff are excellent. We had a fabulous night and will be returning again very soon.

I am a regular and sometimes call in for a quick takeaway. When it’s quiet it can be done in as little as 5 minutes. Very tasty pizza! Maybe one day I’ll eat in!

Came with my family today, service was absolutely amazing and food was really good, our host lost on was very attentive and it’s definitely somewhere where I’ll return

My husband and I dropped into the little Italian for tea one evening and it was absolutely superb. Lovely friendly staff, really good prawns to start with and we both enjoyed a hearty bowl of pasta for mains. Reasonably priced, great little find. We will be back.

Great setting but let down by food preparation and wooden cutlery. Yes, the setting is fab overlooking Lyme Regis beach. However, the food prep was disappointing given the high prices. I spent over £15 on 2 teas, a sausage roll and a cake. The sausage roll was good quality (award winning bought in from elsewhere) but they microwaved it to warm it up - a travesty and soggy pastry. And the soggy sausage roll was served alone with no garnish or anything else on the plate or any offer of sauces etc. The cutlery was wooden disposable which just sets my teeth on edge. The tea had too much milk put in it - no choice to do it yourself - a mug of milky tea presented, yuck, not my cup of tea! The waiting staff were pleasant enough but not exactly enthusiastic or bothering to check all was well. Give the high prices, I won’t be back. They’ve got such a fab location and have bought in higher quality food, what a shame they have ruined it with poor food prep, crap utensils and disinterested staff.

Came last Saturday with my family and my girlfriend. The five of us really enjoyed the food. I had the gamberoni which was brilliant and the linguine alla pescatora which I found amazing aswell. The staff were very warm and welcoming, service was brilliant even considering how many people were in the resteraunt. I will definately be coming again soon.

Everytime I order it's on time, hot and lovely. Can't fault them at all. The staff are nice and the delivery drivers are always polite.

Very disappointed. Soggy under cooked pizza base, couldn't eat it. It was virtually raw. Look nice . My wife's was the same. Will not return

Very disappointing Shakshuka, normally a Shakshuka is a vibrant spicy red and exciting dish of tomatoes, peppers, eggs, spinach, different toppings are added to each version, I had to ask for a spoon as it was more of a brown soup which I couldn’t eat with a knife and fork. All the other items I’ve had from the menu have been lovely, I didn’t complain at the time as I was with my friend. I was also charged a service fee on top, to which I was told ‘it saved people scrabbling around looking for loose change’ hearing such a dire comment is not what you expect, as after all, a tip is given for the enjoyment of food, service and the ambience of a place which unfortunately was ruined by the continuous noise of the blender making smoothies/milkshakes which I suppose couldn’t be helped on such a hot day.

Llegamos sin reserva pero tuvimos la suerte de conseguir la última mesa para 2 . Personal atento, excelentes platos modernos. Realmente disfruté de lo que pedimos del menú de platos pequeños.

Muy poco recomendable se sintió enfermo durante unos días después de desayunar allí horrible experiencia café decente enojado y propietario gruñón peor experiencia.
