The best restaurants in England

I love coming here and come most weeks. Lisa and Tony who run it are lovely and they have really nice food, very cheap surprisingly too. It’s got a nice ambience about the place especially when you sit outside with the wind chimes and the old antiques that surround you. There also some antiques/curiosity cabins next door and there’s a nice communal feel between them and the tea room. In short, visit here and come and enjoy the nice ambience 😌

We have had a roast dinner every week since we had Xmas dinner this year from Tash and Luke! They are amazing, delivered hot and massive portions! Thank you Tash and Luke you are both amazing and such hard workers xxx we wish you every success for the future x

Love Adeline’s cafe. The cakes are the best I have had anywhere ever and that’s saying a lot cos I eat a lot of cakes 😂. The host always has a bit of crack with you. The decor is lovely as well. Highly recommend for coffee and a cake or a lunch.

An absolute pleasure to find this little family pizza place! In the middle of nowhere we have found it on the way from our coastal walk with kids and really enjoyed the delicious pizza as well as friendly atmosphere. Even our picky eaters have been arguing over the last slice. Would definitely be back if we ever get near that place.

Myself and a friend ordered 4 small plates. The quality of the food is amazing, very tasty and incredibly good value for money. I cannot recommend Bambukat highly enough. It was very quiet when we visited but this restaurant deserves to be packed. Spread the word.

The Inner Wheel Club of Dursley spent a wonderful afternoon at Bessys Tea Room this week. The food, surroundings and staff were all fantastic. I would highly recommend a visit for Afternoon Tea.

Fabulous service and high quality ingredients. The menu offers a huge range and everything is always perfectly made and beautifully presented. The new range of homemade fudge is just perfection and the ice cream is second to none. Never disappoints, we are very lucky to have this on our doorstep!

From the moment back in January we met Mirinda and saw Bistro 19 we new it was just perfect for our wedding reception and evening party for 70-80 guests in May 2025. If you want bright spacious areas pretty hanging foliage and littered with fairy lights then this is the place to hire . Nothing was too much trouble for Mirinda and her team from advice on drinks to the BBQ which was delicious and we had many a guest comment how tasty the food was ( and yes Mirinda it was substantial as you said ) Really good communication between us leading up to our date and a couple visits to deliver our table pieces to get the already pretty venue dressed with our colour scheme and accessories to make the seating area and table plans perfectly the way we wanted for the day . We cannot thank Mirinda and her team enough, who clearly love their jobs for the perfect service and all the little extra touches like ringing the hand bell to announce various stages of the reception and then ringing the bell again to be upstanding for the bride and groom to re-enter the outside pergola again to claps and cheers from our guests ( and the cheeky his and hers shots to us when you served our BBQ ) It truly was just the most perfect wedding reception we could ever have imagined and have many photos that we will treasure for ever . Will definitely pop back now and again for you various music functions as you are only 20 minutes away from wokingham . Thankyou so much Bistro 19 x

Esta es la mejor furgoneta de hamburguesas de la ciudad sin dudarlo. No solo disfrutarás de la comida, sino que también volverás casi todos los días para bromas increíblemente divertidas. La gente que trabaja aquí es amable y extremadamente divertida. El 120 % recomienda este lugar.

We have visited here several times since it has been opened….. not too often, as it’s a real treat! The milkshakes and icecream are to die for and the staff are so helpful. The owner is so kind and lovely. You can watch the homemade icecream being made which the kids love!

Asistí a este lugar por primera vez anoche. Asistí a una comida del 20 aniversario de boda. Éramos aproximadamente 50. El restaurante sirvió una comida buffet. La decoración era increíble (globos, etc). El servicio y la comida estaban en el punto más plus! La atención al detalle fue lo que más noté que estaba cerca de ser perfecto! ¡Ya he vuelto a reservar! Gracias por todos los que nos cuidaron anoche. Fue muy apreciado😀

Me alegro de poder encajar en otra visita a esta joya - he estado deseando otro viaje desde que lo probamos hace unas semanas. Las envolturas de falafel son increíbles, rellenas con el falafel más sabroso y un montón de ensaladas y encurtidos muy frescos. Tan grande que casi podríamos haber compartido uno, y a tan buen precio también. Nuestras bebidas - una granada y zumo de naranja y un plátano, dátil y leche de almendras - estaban recién hechos y excelente también. Volveremos pronto!
