I am a regular and sometimes call in for a quick takeaway. When it’s quiet it can be done in as little as 5 minutes. Very tasty pizza! Maybe one day I’ll eat in!

We dropped in here after a day out in London and it was a great experience. Food was excellent, service was friendly and the price reasonable. Recommended

Not too heavy and not overdone with cheese. Great meal and had salad too. We ordered 5 and mine was the one with aubergine- recommend. Will be back.

This had good reviews and decided on this for a take away. It the most horrible pizza I’ve ever had. It was wet/ soggy. All the toppings slid off the pizza and was left with wet dough. Can’t believe they can continue to serve pizza to customers paying and literally robbing their money. You need to invest time to correct the basics.

Visit tonight for the second time and honestly my new favourite place . Pizza was absolutely amazing , staff were brilliant and the profiteroles were the icing on the cake . Thankyou so much , we will definitely be back . Thankyou !

These pizzas must be about as close to the proper ones you get in Italy as any. My son and I had a diavola and a napoletana. The bases were crispy and the sauce really tasty. Loved them! Great little restaurant and pleasant service.

Excellent pizza, delicious, the only pizza place we make a special trip for. You can only get pizza this good in Naples. Friendly staff, a pleasant atmosphere, and again the pizza is mouthwatering, made by an experienced pizza maker.

A group of 4 of us visited here for the first time on a Saturday evening and found the experience to be a most pleasant one. The food was all freshly made to order and in good portion sizes. The desserts are home made and very tasty. The service was polite and attentive and atmosphere pleasant. Families visit here a lot so be prepared for a bit of noise if you visit here early evening. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was that the special on the board was 3 times the price of the set menu items but no indication shown advising of this. Drinks are quite pricey too.

I visited this restaurant with my family (who live locally) and had the best pizza I have eaten for a long time! The pizzas were freshly cooked in front of us with generous toppings. I chose a Napoletana but there was a good variety to choose from. The accompanying salad was good too and overall our meal was good value. Service was very good. I would definitely recommend this place and will certainly return here on my next visit.

What great Pizza ! Lovely tangy and fresh tomato sauce , base and crust just right with a hint of smoke from the fire and a bit of crunch giving way to a soft dough underneath. I had a Napolitana which was very tasty but all the family including Grandchildren at lunchtime really enjoyed thier own choice. Lots of empty plates which was quite a challenge as the pizza's were very large. Children's pizza's large enough for many adults !! Wine was good and not expensive and coffee finished off the meal well. Good an friendly service . Coffee to follow finished of a lovely lunch .

Simple pizzeria that makes very authentic pizzas - fresh ingredients and very tasty. Service friendly and efficient. If you’re after the kind of pizza you get at other well-known pizza chains this isn’t the place for you - but if you’re after a pizza you’ll regularly come across in Italy then this will tick the box. Good value also.

I've been three times now and each time had a pizza, shared a side salad and had a pint of Moretti. The food is great and overall the restaurant offers very good value for money. My one complaint, is that the lock on the Men's bathroom door has been broken during all three visits, which is disappointing and shows a lack of care.

We ordered a take away, it was pretty shambolic in the restaurant, ordered the Meat Special. If your idea of a meat special is 3 slices of a salami cut in half; tasteless cheese and tomato sauce; then this is the place for you!!! AWFUL, waste of money....Oh the garlic bread with cheese...no garlic and again...tasteless

Decided to try 500 Degrees pizza since moving to the area recently. When going inside at 6:30pm and asking to sit down, the waitress became very rude and told us ‘she would prefer we didn’t eat in’ and pulled a face. This was despite the venue being empty. We were really looking forward to trying this local restaurant but the service from all the staff was very rude and the pizza we had to take away as a result was average. When we left the restaurant a group of 4 was allowed to sit in the restaurant. Poor business attitude as they would’ve earned more from me and my partner if we were allowed to eat in the restaurant. Will not be going again and would not recommend.

Popped in with a friend and was not disappointed. The pizza is really authentic with great flavours. Service was excellent and you see the pizzas being made which is a nice touch. Really reasonable prices as well :)

I just ordered a calzone from this pizzeria through "deliveroo" .The menu says the calzone coming with salami but i didnt found any in mine.As it was tasting disgusting i open it up to understand what was that taste that bad. It was the ham.Probably they keep the ham outside the fridge or they just didn't realize that was passed. I couldn't even eat that. Total rubbish waste of money.NEVER AGAIN!

A small, friendly pizzeria - excellent tasty pizzas and other dishes. Reasonable prices and friendly service.

The pizza here is great and the atmosphere very informal. It does take a while as the kitchen is small and everything is cooked from scratch. As well as the diners there is a high volume of take away orders. However if you're happy to chill and chat over a few beers while you wait, this is definitely worth a visit.

Paid this restaurant a visit for some take away pizzas last night and was very impressed with the quality of the pizza. Thin base, thick and soft crust, tasty toppings. Two pizzas for £19 - not cheap but very fresh and tasty. Restaurant itself seems quite relaxed and casual so it's probably a good spot for a relaxing informal meal with friends and family. Wasn't convinced that Beckenham needed another pizza restaurant given that most Italian chains are already on the high street but 500 Degrees is a welcome addition to the area given how tasty the pizza was last night.

We love 500 Degrees. It's our local pizzeria, all the pizzas are made to order, staff and owner are really friendly...our pizza intake has increased substantially because of these guys!

Came here with friends on a very busy Monday evening. Restaurant was heaving with all tables inside and out occupied. As always the food was absolutely fantastic - the best, most authentic pizzas in Beckenham. It was just disappointing that it took almost an hour from placing our order to the food arriving on our table and we weren't informed about the delay, just left to guess what was happening. Admittedly they were extraordinarily busy for a Monday night but I think keeping us in the loop would have been welcome and make the wait more bearable. Also, we were only told at the end of the meal that payment was cash only due to the credit card machine not working. Despite this I will be back be because the food is excellent and the staff are very friendly, if a little under-resourced.

Some of the best pizza in London, for sure the best in Beckenham. Great friendly staff. I would recommend eating in rather than takeaway - but that's always the case. We come as often as possible, but it's worth booking on a Friday and Saturday night.

We just ordered pizza to collect from this restaurant. The reviews were great, but I can honestly say the pizzas surpassed all my expectations. Simple, fresh ingredients on a perfect thickness of base, all beautifully cooked in a proper wood fired oven. Can't fault it. Will be going back here time and time again!

This is our local Pizza restaurant. It serves fresh, delicious hand made pizzas at seriously good prices. We asked for the 'Pizza dello Chef' tonight, and the most beautifully presented star-shaped pizza arrived for me, with a swan made of dough resting in the middle! It had gorgeous corners filled with different things like ham, mozzarella and aubergine..and the middle was full of amazing Bresaola, pecorino and cherry tomatoes. The regular pizzas are also very tasty-my husband loves the Capriciosa. They make a mean Aperol spritz too. The service is always very friendly, it is always very clean and tidy, and we have never had a bad meal here. Lovely Italians, making fabulous authentic pizzas at extremely reasonable prices-what's not to love?!? Finish your meal with a great coffee and some Limoncello-there's is a particularly good one. They will always pack up your left overs to take away if you get too full-which happened to me tonight! Looking forward to finishing it for lunch tomorrow!! A local gem!

I go to this pizza restaurant regularly. The staff are really friendly and the pizza is second to none - it's absolutely delicious. I'm allergic to tomato and they have a couple of options without - including one with a creamy sauce, ham and mushroom. Good value and nice atmosphere inside.

I have been there a few times. Staff are extremely friendly. There is small language barrier but makes it even more unique as they are all Italian. Food is tasty and fairly priced! 5 star from me!

Have just been twice in the last fortnight and think that it is truly amazing value for money, despite the limited pizza-only menu. I took a friend visiting from America who was also very impressed, especially at the small size of the tab! I had an excellent fresh Diavolo pizza followed by divine profiteroles. The beer is also great, with pints of Moretti for £4.50 (Vs. £7 for a Peroni in Pizza Express). Altogether genuine high quality and very impressive Italian experience!

My wife, toodler son and I had a wonderful lunch at 500 degrees. Some things that distinguish this restaurant:- Wonderfully friendly welcome, and very family friendly- Super (and new, I think) Italian pizza chef (watch him toss the dough in the air!)- Well-known pizzas but also ones with less well known Italian toppings like fennel salami- The chef's surprise pizza; in our case half normal with a very generous bresaola topping, half calzone stuffed with ricotta and salami - really delicious and great to look at!- Good ingredients and good wine by the glass, and good value.

Excellent pizza and staff very attentive. First time visit but will be back and likely use as take out too.

I used to work in restaurants, including Italian and I can say hand on heart that the pizza in this restaurant is great!

Wasn't terrible just not overly keen on the pizza choice. It didn't help that we were seated at the very back of the restaurant which is small anyway and if was stifling. The smell of cigarettes kept wafting through either from the staff having a sneaky smoking break at the back door or members of the public standing on the street, unfortunately it spoilt the food as the smell keeping coming through.

First of all, I was really impressed when entering this restaurant, it looks nice from the outside but the inside is really cute and it is deceptively spacious!The starters are not listed on the main menu on the internet and are instead listed on a board with the specials in the restaurant. If I were to criticize anything, it would be good for these to be handed out as extra menus on the table as it was a bit awkward to read from where we were sat.We had the Buratta Pugliese to start which was delicious and creamy. As a main we shared the meat special which was fennel salami, parmesan, cheese and rocket and the Capricciosa (artichokes, ham, mushrooms, olives etc). Both of these pizzas were outstandingly delicious - probably the best pizza I've had. Soft base and crusts and just the right amount of toppings.Desert was a tiramisu which again was delicious.This with a good bottle of red came to about £40 for the two of us which I think is very good value!I'd thoroughly recommend this restaurant and will be back!

The food and service were good, however the restaurant is very pokey, in my opinion they have tried to cram in to many tables, we booked in advance but on arrival there was no table, we had to wait for one to come available, when one did it was right buy the door, as this is a takeaway restaurant as well this was not ideal as customers are constantly coming in and out

Avete cambiato il pizzaiolo ed assunto personale che non parla ne l'Inglese ne l'Italiano?. La pizza e' ora sotto la media anche per gli standards di Londra, assolutamente non una pizza napoletana a per niente buona, il servizio scadente...Voi avete perso un cliente ma la cosa che mi dispiace di piu e che io ho perso la mia pizza ;-( E' un vero peccato perche la pizza era buonissima e con un po di tempo, pazienza e giusta pubblicita' la branch di Edgware Road sarebbe stata un successo. Inoltre..ci sono almeno 3 pagine diverse su Tripadvisor per 500Degrees EDGWARE ROAD (500 Degrees Edgware. 500 Degrees Marylebone, 500 Degrees), il che non e buona pratica e confonde clienti e potenziali clienti. Io ho scritto questa recensione su questa pagina perche la precedente era qui...quando Edgware Road no aveva un pagina propria. Mi dispiace tanto che la pizza fantastica che preparavate non c'e piu ;-(

We're come here for our Sunday evening treat when we can. The pizza is authentic, fresh and so tasty. Always a great selection of starters on the board, great coffees too. This is our favourite Italian in Beckenham

We went for a friday dinner and it was perfect. Stuff helpful and food really good. We ate pizza capriciosa, and I reckon it was a really good choice. I will go back soon.

I went yesterday for lunch with a friend. When I go there I was shown to a table and given 2 menus, and then was completely ignored. None of the staff approached me and aske me if I wanted a drink. I sat there for 15 minutes, thinking "is this for real, am I invisible?"When my friend arrived, the waitress who served us was friendly, the pizza was great, and the lunchtime deal is good value. I will go to another branch again, but would not take my money to the Beckenham branch.

This is my second visit and I love the pizza's. Service is quick, nice relaxed atmosphere great for couples, friends, families and groups. My partner prefers a thin crispy base and found his a little soft he was told this was because they had used sour dough. They were really happy to change his pizza with no hassle. They take a genuine pride in their food.

Superb food and very attentive staff! They noticed it was my friends' Birthday and provided a lovely treat! Great pizza and wonderful wine. Definitely recommend! X

Opened not long ago and very local to us which is great.The pizzas and the food in general is amazing. The starters are quite big so it's better if you sharing otherwise you not going to be able to eat your pizza!Kids pizzas are coming in a round shape with bunny rabbit ears which my daughter was delighted about!Good selection of wines.Food is great and we have visited few times already.Service is very attentive and helpful!We definitely be regular customers.Great new little place near Clockhouse station.

We had a couple of excellent pizzas served by very friendly waiting staff and delicious desserts of Tiramisu and Canola Siciliana. Also very good value for money.The downsides were that we went to dinner very early (5pm) and this restaurant was very family friendly so not very relaxing for couples. However, great if you have a family. I'm sure if you went later as well it would be fine. The starter of baked aubergine wasn't particularly good (not much aubergine and a lot of tomato) but the smoked burrata was very tasty and good value. Another positive was that we were able to take the leftover pizza home and was as delicious the next day.I personally wouldn't go there again but would absolutely order takeaway if we lived closer!

I remember the premises as a rundown Indian restaurant, and so was pleasantly surprised to see it transformed into a quirky, friendly looking pizzeria. I went with my son and his girlfriend and we thoroughly enjoyed the food, washed down with very nice Moretti at a reasonable price. I had the Salciccia variant plus a lovely pecorino salad, followed by Noce Babba panettone based dessert which was great. Rather less expensive and more bespoke than Pizza Express.

Went last Saturday with my kids and my husband and we all LOVED it!The starters were amazing, garlic bread with cheese and the antipasti with mozzarella di buffalo were to die for.We all had pizza and calzone for main course and they were really Yummy!We found that the pizzas were the best we ever eat in England!The staff are all Italians and really nice and the service is quick.Would recommend this place 100%The kids are already asking when we are going back!

We wanted to try out this new place for an easy midweek dinner. The place is little with two different dining rooms. Upstairs is cosy maybe due to the fact that there is the woodfire oven in action there, but in the dining room downstairs not at all, as it does look inhospitable. Well, we ordered some pizza and few drinks and everything arrived in timely fashion. Again, the choices for both food and drinks are very limited and the place could have been better decorated. However, the Pizza was really good and totally matched our food expectations. Frankly the only real downside of our experience here were the toilets upstairs kept is such shoddy state and I hope the management will sort this out soon.

We went to the new Crystal Palace branch and we were impressed by the quality of the pizzas. Service was friendly and efficient and we could alter pizzas to suit our tastes. It was remarkably reasonable on cost too. Will definitely be back.

We visited 500 degrees a new eatery in town and I was gently surprised. The menu is not extensive so if you are happy to settle for a pizza and a salad washed down with a glass of wine in a cosy environment then this is the place to be.Attentive friendly staff with reasonable prices. A good local eatery.

We visited the 500 Degrees in Herne Hill and was very disappointed. It was busy with a drunk table of approx 15 who were very loud! Of course not the resteraunts fault but it made our visit quite awkward as the resteraunt is very small. The "extra olive oil" served on each pizza is an HUGE understatement. Our pizzas were absoultely swimming in olive oil and all the toppings were sliding off of the base. Each one of ours were sloppy, unappetitsing and not very appealing. Will not be going again.

Brilliant stone baked pizza and a wide range of types of pizza. Staff incredibly friendly. Can get hot during the summer from the pizza oven so tables outside are a welcome addition! Best pizza in Beckenham.

I've been living in London for 10 years and I can say this is the best pizza in town, and I'm Neapolitan so you have to trust me ;-). We have been today at the Edgware Road branch, they have hight quality ingredients, excellent pizza, lovely place and service...more than reasonable prices...and good tiramisu as well. Very good Italian pizzas made in a wood-fired oven, with friendly staff. Very authentic and Italian, and focused on doing one thing well (not like nearby Italian restaurants that serve British Sunday roast!!). Highly recommended, and we'll return. Also very child friendly (waitress offered to help our buggy up the step), but we'd have loved coming here a year ago before we became parents, too. Nice puddings, too. I had two glasses of red wine, and the slightly more expensive Montepulciano was a lot better than the house red, and worth the extra money.

This is an independent restaraunt, I visited the first time shortly after it opened with a friend and 3 children. It was busy but the service was quick and friendly. We all ordered pizzas and side salads. The children's pizzas are slightly smaller, but still just as tasty. Great choice of toppings and reasonably priced. We've been back already and will keep supporting a new local business.

Beckenham doesn't really have a bespoke Pizza spot. Well, it has now. The restaurant is roomy and cumfy for large and small numbers. A few more prices of Art from Naples would be great.The servers were excellent and in keeping with the restaurant Italian, Naples infact like the Pizza s. The menu is small and perfect - I would recommend the mixed meats for two starter- wow. And the garlic bread on a pizza base - earthy with a tomato base.The Pizza s were good - thin crusts and original - different from the standard fare. Definitely worth a visit - the restaurant is fairly new and we hope it grows and develops its culinary potential. Most of all I appreciated the servers - they would go to most lengths to make you feel at home. Thank you.

we ordered 2 pizzas and a side salad both very good I asked for lots of fresh chilli as a extra mine had none I think there may of been a language barrier so I ended up with a bowl of raw chillis instead.the pudding menu states ice cream is 2.25 which you also think that the other puddings are the same price very misleading needs to be clearer the puddings where in fact 4.50 each and tiny portion or tiramisu far to much 9 pound for 2 small puddings pizza good though.

Met the family after work for a pizza and glass of wine after a hard day at work... This place is very nice, clean and a lovely atmosphere! Food and service fantastic...

We visited 500 Degrees about three weeks after it opened, in the site of a former curry house in the small parade of shops by Clock House station.The menu is very short indeed - a dozen or so pizzas - a handful of starters and three desserts. This is actually a good sign, in my book - do what you're good at and keep your standards up.The pizzas were delicious. The dough was light and very tasty, and you could taste the slight charring from the wood oven. The tomato sauce was fresh tasting and the toppings lovely. The prices are lower than pizza express and the like, and the pizzas are very very tasty. As good as Saporo Vero, which is high praise indeed.Desserts were ice cream, canolo siciliana and noce babba (a very boozy cake - really really good). And the whole thing came to under 40 for a family of four.This was our first visit. It won't be our last.

Good menu with some decent starters, specials and a good selection of pizzas. Simple choice of wine (we had the Primitivo which was pretty good).I liked the fact they give you a free carafe of water without the need to ask for it.The wood fire pizza oven gets up to 500 degs C (hence the name) so the pizza cooks in around 1 minute.They're big and filling.Service was friendly. Interior decor very simple.Only negative comments would be that the knives they give are not really up to sawing through the pizza and they stick piping hot pizza on cold plates which I am sure makes the cooked base a little soggy with condensation cause by steam getting trapped between the pizza and the plate.Pizza toppings were good but the bases lacked something and I think they could have been crispier.

Newly opened neighbourhood pizza place. Relaxed ambience. Compact menu of pizzas and side salads. Proper wood fired oven. The pizzas were £8.50 average. A nice bottle of red, £15.95. Lovely thin crust and nice toppings. Service was good and it's the sort of place you would pop into on a week night when you can't be bothered to cook. We were impressed with the pizza. Much better than Pizza Express, and would definitely go back again.
