It was an amazing experience from the moment i walked in, I explained that I’m from Birmingham and that I’ve been searching for a cafe in the Oxford street area of London and this lovely cafe popped up, I asked for a breakfast and a cup of tea. The lady who dealt with me was very kind and helpful with my order. I didn’t have to wait long and the Breakfast was delicious. What else can I say apart from thank you very much.

One of the waitresses were really nice by recognising intolerances without somebody asking, and the food looks good for an Italian experience 🍕.

I ordered plain omelette. The lady who served was a bit sloppy and chips on the plate were falling down. According to the menu, it should be 9.95 pounds but I was charged 10.95 pounds. When I asked the reason, she made a disgusting look and said "service charge". And if I understood correctly, a staff at the cafe said "Chino (=Chinese)" to me. (I am a Japanese. Aside from that, this is an disputable discrimination against us:South Asian people ). I felt so sad towords this mannar. Food itself was nice.

We were looking for somewhere relaxed to have lunch near Oxford Street and this was the perfect place. The food was ready very quickly and was absolutely delicious. The service was so friendly and they went above and beyond! We had a baby with our group who started to cry as soon as the food arrived, as they always do. One of the ladies working there asked if she could hold him, and proceeded to carry him and keep him happy for the whole time we were eating! Amazing place, lovely people. Thank you!

Hidden gem… fantastic service. Great atmosphere. We hadn’t long eaten or we would have the food looked amazing. Got coffee and cannoli .. we sat instantly with a warm welcome .. service was as so fast !! Lovely coffee and cannoli. Highly recommend. Great little cafe just out of the hustle and bustle of Regent Street. Fabulous home cooked Italian food with very friendly service. Lovely coffee.

Fantastic welcome, food and great location to boot. The omelette was amazing so I came back the next day for a sausage, bacon and hash brown roll which was equally as good, great coffee and fresh oj too! Will definitely be back next time I'm in the capital.

Owner is listed as a provider for luggage storage through luggage hero. We showed up around lunch time and he was busy serving customers and clearly not interested in taking our luggage. We sat outside and decided we would have lunch instead with our luggage by our side. Funny that he decided to charge us $70 to hold it when he didn’t. I guess lunch for 5 wasn’t enough??

Has to be the best Eggs Benedict I have ever had and service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended for breakfast/brunch.

Turned up at this cafe 30mins before closing, a friendly lady came out on the street to advise they would be closing soon, but if we made a quick choice from the homemade food in the refrigerated counter we would be served straight away, Delicious home cooked food, helpful and accommodating staff. We enjoyed our meal and left satisfied with our choices. We would definitely recommend this eatery and would go back any time we were visiting London.

Small cafe of the main streets with outside area. Sat inside which was tight but comfortable. Staff amazing especially the main lady serving who was full of joyous character. Good choices and even though breakfast was over they allowed us to order. Food was okay and the fresh OJ lovely

My partner and I had breakfast here, after struggling to find anywhere with a decent size cooked breakfast we were glad to be welcomed in by the hostess and lovely mature woman. Great service!! Food was a good sized portion.

What a great find, we had a bacon and sausage sandwich and a mug of tea, I know it's a very simple breakfast but you will be surprised how many places mess it up, this was great, highly recommend it.

Booked a table for 4 on a Sunday for brunch but found it closed when we arrived because they don't open on Sundays! Luckily found an excellent bakery and deli around the corner - Ergon Deli - which was fabulous.

Not my first visit, been several times before, eat in and take away, without fail always delicious food served quickly by friendly staff. Needs support especially during this second lockdown, so for now if your near and can get yourself to Pollen Street during the day for a take away, you surely will not be disappointed.

Coming to London during COVID and struggling to find somewhere we thought could have a breakfast meal around midday. To our surprise Sonjia and Antonia were able to seat us and have a coffee at our tables within seconds. The midday lunch was very fairly priced for the location and my girlfriends sandwiches were well worth the price. All round very lovely experience Will be sure to come back when next in London.

Solo me gustaría decir que este es un lugar fantástico en medio de una zona muy elegante. No irá allí para una comida romántica, pero para el trabajo o para llevar es perfecto. La comida es buena, sencilla y barata para la zona. Hacen una nueva receta de pasta todos los días, puedes hacer tu propia ensalada, el desayuno es excelente y el personal es muy amable. ¡Qué más quieres! ?

It’s my first time having breakfast in this place and I really enjoyed my blueberry pancakes and the staff treatment. In particular Juan. Such an amazing man. I will recommend this place to everyone. Just try it, won’t disappoint you!

Had the builder's breakfast this morn - bacon so hard nearly flew off the plate when I tried to cut it, tomato must have been cooked a month ago, accompanied by an eggcup size of coffee - disappointing !

Ten of us were going on a guided walk starting off from this area so we decided to get our usual bacon sandwiches here and met here. It is not a big place but there are quite a few tables and chairs.There was a good selection of bacon, sausage, egg, roll or sandwich, and one who got there earlier had the full works. It was all very tasty and service was friendly and good. Quite a few people were taking food out. By the time we left the lunch was on show in the cabinet and it all looked very good. I expect this place does well for take-out lunches too, or eat in.

Encontramos café de girasol por casualidad, estaba lleno pero el dueño nos sentó en una mesa pequeña y unos minutos más tarde estábamos comiendo una comida deliciosa. We found this café by accident after visiting the Grayson Perry exhibition in Mayfair. On a cold November day, we were welcomed and warmed by their excellent coffee and served promptly with good humour . A great find and we will be back

La pasta de espinacas y chorizo estaba terminada cuando fui a la 1. 30 y me ofrecieron excelentes espinacas y ragú. Maravilloso servicio amable. ¡Todos parecían mucho más felices que en el Pollen Street Social de enfrente donde pagaban cinco veces más por su comida!

We are Italians ... here in london for a business trip. A very kind lady invites us to sit and enjoy. The service was excellent and she makes us feel like at home ..... the food very good!!! Great choice thanks ... definitely we will come back next time !!

We found the Sunflower Kitchen by accident and were so pleased we found an independent cafe in the centre of London. Fast and pleasant service, good food but I wouldn't bother with a glass of wine - it'd be good with chips. We weren't rushed even though we were there at lunchtime. Good sized portions and decent choices on the menu.

Estuve navegando por Londres todo el día y accidentalmente pasamos por este pequeño restaurante de cocina Sunflower. Como la terraza estaba llena de lugareños, pensamos en probarlo. Y afortunadamente lo hicimos.

Food is very simple, kind of home made, service is friendly, unpretentious, good value for money. Take away I see possible, portions are good size. They also serve tasty salads.

I come here at least once a week for a takeaway lunch. The food is authentically Italian and absolutely delicious, for a very reasonable price. Definitely recommended for a quick lunch on a workday.

food prices are very high. Large breakfast is more than 8 pounds, small coffee - 2.50£. Food was alright. Black pepper was good quality. Sorry, overpriced even for central london...

Traditional food of quality at very reasonable prices. All the staff are so helpful, nothing to much trouble and they are lovely Italian people.

Se trata de un negocio familiar de café, uno de los pocos en la zona izquierda. El personal te hace sentir como si fueras parte de la familia. La pasta es casera y sabe muy bien. El servicio es excelente. Podría ser difícil encontrar el lugar, ya que está en una pequeña calle entre Blv Street y Hanover Street pero es Gratificante estar allí.

Tenía una tortilla española y fue asqueroso. era simplemente patatas que comenzaron a salir, sabes cuando se van un poco negro en los bordes, y los huevos sabían como habían sido cocinado durante horas. no tiene sabor o textura. Estado aquí unas cuantas veces y nos encanta el lugar. Excelente servicio con personal que trabaja duro, que saben cómo presentar un almuerzo. Tenía su desayuno caliente estilo inglés, otra vez pollo con pasta y durante esa visita noté la lasaña en otra tabla de clientes. Hoy que era la mía y una opción con otro amigo amigos muestras la sopa. Una botella de vino de la casa blanca a un precio razonable así bien recomendado. Definitivamente un 5 estrellas.

We order from this company on a daily basis, very impressed so far. A little pricey but the quality is there, the service is good too. Sandra the owner/manager clearly cares about the place a lot and that shows.

We walked around the corner from our hotel and found a wonderful gem for breakfast. A little place that served us smashed avocado on a multi-grain bread, porridge made with water instead of milk, with added blueberries and raisins in it. Very tasty! In fact, we had them make us a vegetable cold sandwich to take on our day's tour, just in case there wasn’t any vegan offerings at the Castle or Stonehenge. They were so kind and they took Apple Pay from our watches!

Ser alérgica al aguacate, me pidió que me amablemente sin aguacate y tomates en vez tienen un coste. Cuando mi comida llegó, la mayoría de los ingredientes eran totalmente incorrectas, y sabía claramente desagradable. El pollo estaba seco y cocidas, la ensalada de quinoa literalmente bañadas en zumo de limón (representación), y era incomible colocó una gran porción de col encima sin precedentes. Es generalmente considerado un col abominación en el mundo de la gastronomía, así que para encontrar cubriendo toda mi comida sin aviso fue un poco angustiante, por decir lo menos. También pedí mi ensalada de tomates con extra como sería sin patatas, pero esta solicitud y mi vacíos, una pequeña porción de tomates vino inexplicablemente con guarnición de eneldo?! En general, este era el menos apetecible ensalada de mi experiencia, y después a la señalando amablemente mi decepción por la camarera de mi comida de inexactitud (y cómo me pareció desagradable sabor) - la comida no fue retirado de la factura y en su lugar, la camarera impolitely intentó discutir conmigo. Yo no pienso volver, lo cual es una pena porque siempre he disfrutado de mi anterior visita a este establecimiento.

New owners and the food is really good. Run by an Italian couple there are lots of ciabatta combinations and fresh salads which look and taste much better than the fare on offer at the Vital chain next door. Nice people too.

Located just off Regent St this is a little independent cafe that serves great food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is excellent!

I popped in for a Sandwich and asked for extra filling. The result was a £9.50 sandwich. Because she used twice the meat they thought it was OK to double the price. When I expressed my dissatisfaction once I saw my change in my hand - the owner/manager really didn't care at all. She just said that's the way it is. Once of the worst customer experiences I have ever had.

It's a great place for breakfast and lunch and has a nice selection of salads, soups and sandwiches. There is enough space to hold meetings over lunch if needed. Good food, great service and the owner always remembers you.

The Mediterranean sandwich is the nest sandwich I have found in London. Friendly, welcoming staff. By far my favourite cafe in London. Oh and great coffee too!

Went there for lunch at 1pm Tues and the spaghetti bolognese was already sold out. I took the lasagna instead. One of the best I've had before. Glad I ended up with it :) Bruschetta and hot chocolate were also very good!

This place is a real little gem. Directly opposite Jason Atherton's Pollen Street Social you couldn't get further away from fine-dining but that isn't what this place is about. It is about good, honest, tasty cafe food and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast here.

I was walking around Piccadilly Circus area up Regent street and was a bit hungry. I wanted a bit of a break from the crazy touristy stuff but Piccadilly/Regent is all touristy - or so I thought. I randomly went down a side street and walked past the Subway shop. At the next corner I randomly took a right to see if there were any nice quiet restaurants. On the right was a small very quiet place - Sunflower Cafe. I walked in & was immediately greeted & they said I could sit anywhere. There were a couple of small outdoor tables but it was very hot when I was there. The owner came to my table, started chatting with me, and went over the specials. I got a fantastic sandwich, chips and a cold beer for less than 10 pounds!! Great food. The owner said they are usually very busy during the week primarily during the work week for business lunch. She spoke with me for a bout 20 minutes - giving me tips on what to see & do n London. Very friendly, great food, and very reasonably priced. As I passed another restaurant en route to finding the Sunflower Cafe, I read the menu - 27 pounds for lunch?! Ouch. Go to the Sunflower Cafe. It's well worth finding (3 Pollen Street) and you will not be disappointed!

Whilst walking 'off the beaten track' of Oxford Street we came across the Sunflower Café in Pollen Street! Mainly stopped because I needed coffee and loved the name! However, decided to have a little sandwich to tide us over until dinner! Ha! the bread the sandwich came in was amazing - the sandwich itself was gorgeous and tasty! Huge portion with salad and crisps on the side! Great value for money in central London - the coffee was pretty good too!

Could not fault the breakfast, nor the service. With no intolerance to other nationalities, I do have to say it was most refreshing to be able relate to somebody English. It seems rare nowadays in the catering industry.Thank you

We frequent this cafe occasionally during our lunch hour and staff are so friendly and accommodating. Catering for even the fussiest in our lunch party! Great food at good prices! There are only a few tables and it gets busy, so call ahead if you can.

this cafe was just right for us, just off regents street not far from Hamleys toy shop. Quiet little cafe tucked down a side road but lovely food. I had a Brunch which was more than ample and my wife had the biggest bowl of soup i have seen ( which was to die for) with about half a french stick all for under £10.We will calling in again next time we go to London.

This is a cafe not a classy restaurant and the rating should be interpreted with this in mind. It is in pollen street, a quiet narrow little street close to Oxford Circus, opposite the michelin starred Pollen Street Social, which is where you should go if you want the latter, but don't expect to get away with £20 for two as we did in the Sunflower Cafe. It is small, fairly basic, with a range of wholesome filling food, at excellent prices for this area, and surprisingly quiet. On the day we visited two ladies were running the show with admirable charm, good humour and efficiency. It is nominally Italian, but not limited to Italian food, and I think probably has a regular clientele amongst people who work up there. It is not a place you should make a trip to go to, but an excellent place to drop in on for a quick affordable lunch if you happen to be in the area.
