The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

Pre ordered two pizzas arrived at pre arranged time but then still another 20 minute wait. They are keen not to have you waiting in the venue so you are directly although very politely to wait in your car or outside Pizzas themselves were tasty, a bit mean on the extra toppings as when adding mushrooms it was probably just two sliced Pizzas and very very thing which is great, if that is your preference, but also means they get cold very very quickly

We went to Tony Piccante’s for a family meal, we received excellent food and a friendly, welcoming attentive service. Pizzas were made fresh.

Our dinners were excellent - Sea Bass and Carbenara. The waiter was able to change penne to tagliatelle just helpful and willing. Thank you. Kids margherita and veggie sticks wnt down well so assume were good. The place clearly welcomes the little ones and they were taken well care of whilst we had ours

Llegamos a Trentina antes de Navidad después de pasar un día en Birmingham. Originalmente habíamos reservado para más tarde en la tarde, pero terminamos lo que estábamos haciendo antes de lo previsto y el personal era muy amable y nos encontró una mesa incluso cuando llegamos antes. La comida fue increíble, tuvimos un trío de entrantes e incluso tuvimos una segunda porción de la focaccia, ya que era tan bueno. Los platos principales también eran deliciosos y la pasta estaba bien cocinada - tenía cola de buey y pasta de médula ósea que tiene sabores ricos encantadores. Solo pudimos manejar un poco de helado para el desierto, pero por suerte seguimos los consejos del personal con el sabor y fue fantástico (marsala all'uovo cremovo). Buena selección de bebidas también. Espero volver pronto!

Staff were lovely, prices were reasonable, venue was good and the food was great! Would highly recommend!

Purely by chance, we came across The Old Pharmacy at about 2.30 in the afternoon. We had a fantastic meal - one of the best that we recall - and we do enjoy our food. The menu was ideal for sharing plates and the open kitchen is right in front of you as you enter the restaurant which sows great and very well deserved confidence. The service was friendly, efficient and professional and we were made really welcome. The whole experience exceeded expectations dramatically and we shall surely return!

We've eaten here several times and the food is consistently good. When they opened right next to mother popular Italian restaurant, we did question the wisdom but it really is in a different class. Fresh, authentic ingredients and a personal welcome.

Disappointment with the experience. Went during work as colleagues had raved about it. Ordered a cream cheese and salmon bagel £5.20. Not worth the over priced cost in the slightest. There was hardly any cream cheese or salmon in it. Ordering was quick, wait time was extremely long considering it’s a bagel with cream cheese. Would not order from there again.

As per usual the staff were lovely and the Chicken and Rice soup my daughter had for the 1st time today was superb, my daughter compared it to Gran's soup, she's never done that before. High praise indeed. Always friendly and the food is delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Burnside.

I followed these guys since lockdown when they were making pizzas in their truck, so I was excited when they opened a restaurant. I've visited a few times and each time have left disappointed. So its been a while since my last visit, and unfortunately my latest experience was still lacking. We'd ordered: Spicy Oinky Ham-mer Time The pizzas was excessively greasy and salty and this time also lacking flavour. Considering the taste and the price for the size, there are better options available elsewhere.

Pour un expresso c'est un expresso à l'image d'un café en Italie ! Le percolateur est impressionnant . Le service est assuré par de très jeunes gens peu qualifiés compte tenu des difficultés rencontrées par la serveuse pour séparer les blancs des jaunes d'oeufs afin de refaire de la pâte à gaufres qui d'ailleurs me fut servie avec un manque de cuisson . A leur décharge il s'agissait de la première de la journée !

Io e 15 amici siamo rimasti senza cena la sera di capodanno, nonostante avessimo prenotato inizio dicembre e tre giorni prima della data della prenotazione per confermare il numero di persone. Il “proprietario” grandissimo maleducato e cafone, ha insinuato che la nostra prenotazione fosse falsa, nonostante il fatto che gli avessimo fatto vedere le chiamate. Ci ha dato dei bugiardi, falsi non ammettendo il proprio sbaglio e addirittura urlandoci contro, per non parlare dell’atteggiamento PESSIMO che ha avuto nei confronti della ragazza che ha prenotato, un atteggiamento così nessuno dovrebbe avercelo con i clienti. Personale inqualificabile, proprietario pessimo. Spero non sia successo a nessun altro. Peccato che non si possono dare 0 stelle… Grazie per averci rovinato la cena di capodanno Non ci tornerò mai in quel posto. Non è un ristorante serio ma soprattutto con personale serio

Used to order here all time. Treated myself recently and was so looking forward to it but the food does not have the same taste or presentation. Definitely not worth the price anymore. A real shame used to be amazing.

Delicious breakfast we had with family, children were happy, very good service and nice atmosphere, will recommend to friends 💞

This café was across from previous my work place and I used to go there quite frequently. The food is decent, fresh and very cheap and when it comes to pasta, it definitely beats several of high end Italian restaurants in London. Prefect bite, nice sauces, great flavour and super homey.
