Studio Cafe in Hertsmere

This café was across from previous my work place and I used to go there quite frequently. The food is decent, fresh and very cheap and when it comes to pasta, it definitely beats several of high end Italian restaurants in London. Prefect bite, nice sauces, great flavour and super homey.

I went to the café this morning for breakfast as a sign outside says they open at 7 am. Only To be told when we got there that they’re not serving until 8 am. They must change the sign. Had to go and find another Caffe afterwards.

We eat here on a fairly regular basis, and have allways found the food and the service to be of the best. They often cope with a large grood rearly well. great pizzas. The only downside is that they don't accept card payment.

Disgusting. Cold food. Tasteless. Came into play some fifa on my phone and have some food. Ordered. Took ages. Had no flavour and very bland. Cold and no seasoning. Staff rude and dirty clothes. Won’t go back.

Stopped here mid-morning for a coffee following an appointment in the complex. The cafe entrance is found down the side of the building. It was quiet at the time and i enjoyed a large latte which was very hot and promptly served. Didn't eat here but this place definitely seems worth seeking out on the outskirts of Borehamwood.

Home made, tasty italian. Veg and meat Lasagne were perfect as was the fry up my father ordered. Pasta dish was also delicious and veg tasted fresh in their ragu sauce. Olive oil crusty bread was a perfect compliment. The 3 waitress and cook, although busy as it was lunch time and the Cafe was full, were efficient, quick, friendly and gave you their time in order for you to feel comfortable and happy. This is how you run a food business! They joked with customers yet justifiably seemed proud to be serving such good quality food at such reasonable price. I left thinking why do they not open in the evening as their italian food was better by miles than many central London fancy italian restaurants I have visited. A diamond find in borehamwood.well worth a visit. Good food, good people. Next time I must try the pizzas, they looked awesome.

We sought this café out based on the reviews of others and we weren't disappointed. The place was clean and a great variety of food which was reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and it had a lovely atmosphere. We ordered and paid for our meal at the counter and it was brought to our table freshly cooked. The location was more industrial and on both occasions we arrived around 11.30 am when they were not too busy, however this was obviously a very popular place with people who worked nearby and by 12 noon, it was very busy with the regulars. The only negative was that it was cash only as they didn't take debit/credit cards. We paid cash the first day but the second day we didn't have much cash on us and would have preferred to pay by card.

Lovely place to stay food is lovely the staff helpful and cheerful food is nice and fresh and you can eat as much as you like

Fantastic little Italian run cafe. Omelettes are amazing, breakfasts are great value and the pasta dishes are out of this world !!! Very reasonable prices, friendly staff. Without doubt my favourite cafe in the county!!!

Although somewhat difficult to find down one of the many road into the studios this is a little gem. We happens to go when it was really quiet but I feel there may be times when there are breaks in filming that it may be very busy. Breakfast was the full English and served quickly. One issue - it is really difficult to find a parking spot anywhere near mid morning!

This place used to be a regular getaway when I used to work in the area. Great for lunch with large tables that could be pushed together when there were groups of us. Prices have gone up since the last time I came but the portion sizes are extremely generous. The only issue that you could face is if you go in a big group. You could be waiting a long time from first person getting there's and the last. At least you know it's fresh. (Visit - 10/07/2015 Lunch)

This place is really good at what it does. The food is always good and is great to go for lunch or pop into when you are Hank Marvin! Today, the girls at work all ordered various things, panini, baguettes, burgers, chilli con carne. Everyone way saying how good it was. They serve up quite a portion to be fair and they charge really good prices. A sausage and cheese baguette (not one of those skinny ones but proper french stick sized) was £3.50, just to give you a bench mark. They are quick on their service so there is no standing around wondering if you are going to have enough time to wharf it down. You can also sit in and eat and all the servers are good guys with a smile on their faces. Definitely turning into a solid lunchtime favourite with the guys and gals in our office!

I have been here on a few occasions, whether it was to get a sausage roll to take away or sitting down to a breakfast. the staff are always friendly and will have a laugh and joke with you too. The breakfasts are of a good portion and even happy to substitute items on the menu when I ask.

More than just a café...the Studio Café has been building its reputation over the last few years for excellent ,freshly prepared food with an Italian Flavour! Situated in what was once part of Elstree film studios but now just offices. The word has spread and most lunchtimes its packed! Try the home cooked pasta's and Pizza's. Salad's with generous helpings will satisfy many a hungry worker...
