Best pizza in Penarth by far! Incredibly good value for money, would actually be happy to pay far more as quality is excellent.

Absolutely terrible experience!! Really wish that I had read the bad reviews first. I had been really looking forward good authentic italian food done properly after recently discovering this place. We made our reservation and arrived 5 mins before, after standing in a queue for over 5 mins, we were asked to wait outside until our table was ready which was about 15 mins.... It was busy and we just accepted it for what it was. After we were sat down it took a while for the most miserable life hating waitress to come to us and take our order. We ordered, drinks took a while, starters took longer than I thought, they were pretty good even though they didn't have what we originally wanted. Then....the wait began.......from ordering food, it took 1 hour for it to arrive, we had to shout the miserable girl to order more drinks.....they never arrived, she just went on to clean tables. we noticed that people who came in after us had eaten and gone...... all four of us were getting very bored, hungry and just sat there not in a good mood as we were just being ignored. We were just about to get up and walk out and then the food arrived.....well, some of it did. one of the kids had to wait about 5 mins longer for her pizza.....we then had to send it back to get it cut up for her..... After seeing all the pics they post and videos of their carbonara, i was really looking forward to someone around here who does a proper one (and wanted to compare it to mine) i was quite underwhelmed.....the portion seemed to be half of what other people had and what was in their pics and the guanciale was hardly cooked! The pizza was ok but nothing special for a margherita, a proper margherita should be a taste sensation (Rudy's are amazing), this was just average. The lasagne was far too hot for a child, took her ages to get it to an eatable temperature, the wife's pasta was ok, nothing special. Our drinks still didn't turn up but by this point we didn't want them, we just wanted to get out of there. Not once did they ask us how things are... I'm not one to complain about things normally, I just put up with it.....I wanted to but I couldn't get anyone's attention as they just seemed to keep walking past up with their heads in a different direction. I thought rather than lose my rag in there, I'll do it via their Instagram messaging just to raise my concerns. I did the day after and I'd say I was quite polite about it and just pointed out our poor service and we were disappointed. They read it and no response. I messaged again a few days later and the same again.......zero response. I then read the reviews and see that others have experienced the same. Seems like the owner/manager is only interested in the positive feedback and things on Instagram etc. I have told others about my experience and it has put them off going as they don't want to risk poor service and I will continue to do so. If they would have responded to my message I would have given it a second chance and put it down to being busy but to ignore people who have come and spent their money for absolutely shocking service, I cant get over that and hope it soon catches up with them and more people realise I'm more annoyed with myself that I didn't realise I had paid an optional service charge on the bill......fuming!!!!! Worse service EVER for what is in my opinion a very very overhyped place... Anyway, rant over, if you have read this I hope you don't go....or at least have a better experience that we did

I booked a table for 6 for my wife's birthday through Mezzepotamia's website. I received a booking confirmation when I booked, but when we got to the restaurant the owners advised that they are closed for renovations. Unfortunately this isn't the first time a booking has been cancelled by the restaurant without them letting us know. Needless to say, we won't be booking a table there again.

You cannot beat this place for good food cost and service. All staff very friendly and polite. Easy to get to .

Amazing lunch with my friend, great service and food came out swiftly and was lovely will definitely be back. Highly recommend. Ordered a passion fruit martini and it was delicious.

Fui en este acogedor italiano Restaurante, yo diría que este restaurante respeta los estándares de calidad para ser un restaurante italiano, todo fue realmente bueno, como se puede ver en la imagen adjunta a continuación, el propietario es muy amable y muy cálido, recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar, para una cena o simplemente un aperitivo.

Mi novio y yo fuimos a casa de Rigo el viernes por la noche para cenar, la segunda vez que estuvimos aquí y el segundo éxito perfecto: elegimos la opción de 4 platos y todo fue simplemente delicioso. Los platos también fueron muy creativos y bien presentados: calidad de estrella Michelin. Pedimos una recomendación de vino y tuvimos la oportunidad de probar un vino que nunca habíamos probado, que resultó ser un buen partido tanto para la carne roja que mi novio pidió como para el pescado que obtuve: no solo el chef era excelente, sino también el sommelier también fue excelente. Es una pena que ahora se esté cerrando por un par de meses para mudarse a Mayfair, ¡pero seguro que volveremos una vez que abran en la nueva ubicación!

This was our third visit, first was very good second lacking, today this wa a rip off. Garic stuffed mushrooms 7.50 good, waiter said starter special so ordered the mushrooms were cut in quarters in a liquor with too much chili not mentioendmy preference however the dish would have cost under a pound and charged at 10 pounds 50⁷ Main course meat dry risotto like Pudding just add sugar well over cooked prawn and asparagus perfect but will not go again After first meal reccomede now have to retract.to all😡

Comimos aquí recientemente y tuvimos una noche encantadora. Sin embargo, mi pareja experimentó enfermedades extremas y diarrea alrededor de 2 horas después de comer aquí - toda la noche enfermo y en el inodoro. Avisamos al restaurante a primera hora del día siguiente, por si había algo malo con la comida que se serviría para los días siguientes servicio. Fuimos muy amables y dijimos que sabemos que estas cosas pueden pasar solo quería que supieran. No había manera de enviar un correo electrónico, así que enviamos a través de Instagram y luego a través de su portal de comentarios en línea, pero todavía no hemos tenido disculpas o acuse de recibo que ahora ha dejado un sabor amargo. Es una pena ya que disfrutamos de la comida sin embargo las secuelas y la falta de comunicación lo arruinaron por completo : (

We had the best service me and my sister after a long day at work. We had the best pizzas. Steve, Mat and James were so lovely, welcoming and professional. Missed the Monday offers however, it was worth paying the full prices. Always looking forward to office day and the pizza treat.

Fantastic food which is well presented and plentiful. Husband and Son has the Mixed Grill which was huge but they both said it was tasty. The staff are attentive and very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Sit downstairs at one of the tiniest, but best, Italian restaurants in London. After a great cocktail selection, we had the delicious crispy beef & chicken meatballs, with parma ham & rosemary potatoes as a starter, followed by the even better passatelli (pasta made with breadcrumbs) with truffle as main. There are at least 5 pasta dishes & you can see them being made as you dine. Wines are primarily from Emilia Romagna, the Trebbiano perfect with our dishes & reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly & knowledgeable.

Lady at the till on Thursday morning was super rude. No welcoming at all, no thank you, I made a question about a product and the answer she gave was so much to make me feel like a fool that in the end I didn’t get what I wanted. I get it, you have stress, depressed, no smiling costumers at all, who work in the area and are tired to give you a smile for their daily routine or whatever, but you shouldn’t apply that manners to all your other costumers...

Nuestra primera visita y todos nos quedamos impresionados por la calidad de la comida y el vino y la amabilidad del personal. Esta es una verdadera joya escondida en Putney.
