The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

We came on a Wednesday evening 6pm. Warm welcome from the hostess. Antipasto & main meal was delightful but the dessert (cheesecake) was not the best. Decor was pleasing but as the restaurant filled up so did the volume. The male waiter was friendly & hard working. The lady waitress’s, whilst being very friendly, spent quite a lot of time talking to each other whilst people were waiting. This said we will try again as food was great.

I had a booking for a party of 15. I confirmed the booking with the restaurant two weeks ago. Turned up last night to find it closed. Nothing from the restaurant to say they couldn’t honour my booking. No sign in the window. Nothing. Such a shame as I ate there a couple of months ago and the food was great. I won’t be going back if they reopen

Visité Vicolo Romano anoche y me quedé impresionado por este pequeño y auténtico restaurante italiano. Escondido y sencillo, se centra alrededor de un horno de leña adecuado que produce una de las mejores pizzas que he probado fuera de Italia. El menú es pequeño pero centrado, una clara señal de calidad sobre la cantidad con pizzas con un precio entre £ 10 – £ 13 , que es increíblemente razonable para el estándar que se obtiene. También encontré que algunas de las pizzas tenían un gran maridaje de ingredientes que normalmente no se ven, como el higo y la berenjena que tenía, que era increíble. Compartimos una botella de vino por solo 25 libras esterlinas, y también había opciones de cerveza baratas, por lo que es un gran lugar ya sea que esté después de una cena casual o una noche relajada. Había una ligera mezcla - con nuestra orden, pero el personal era tan amable y servicial. En lugar de desperdiciar la comida, la encajonaron cuidadosamente para que la lleváramos a casa una vez que hubiéramos terminado nuestra comida, un toque tan agradable que realmente muestra su cuidado y generosidad. Mención especial merece el jefe de cocina, Muri, cuya pasión por la auténtica pizza italiana brilla en cada plato. Las bases de pizza eran ligeras, crujientes y perfectamente carbonizadas, con ingredientes frescos y ricos que realmente dieron vida a los sabores. Sin duda volvería, ya sea para cenar o tomar una comida para llevar. Si usted está buscando pizza italiana a excelentes precios, con un servicio genuinamente acogedor, Vicolo Romano es el lugar.

This is our regular go-to place for pizzas. They are cooked fresh so we usually order early by telephone when you can pick your time for collection. Quality of the food is excellent and rarely disappoints.

We were delighted to stumble across Shop at the Top while in Callow end. We were very hungry after 3 hours on Malvern and I was hoping for a decent breakfast. We ordered the Full Monty and it was very good value for money and with good portions. The coffee was very tasty too and we took away two flapjacks for later (amazing). The staff were lovely, very helpful and the service was excellent. It was a very sunny day when we went so that will make a difference because we had a spot right in the sun.

I am so sad that this restaurant has closed!!! I loved it so much! Westbourne Grove is such a difficult place to open a restaurant! They keep on opening and closing... Noce was one of my fav! Sad sad sad

Después de ver este lugar que vendía tarta de queso al horno, vinimos de postre. Tenía muchas ganas de hacerlo y me decepcionó bastante. El cheesecake de vainilla de mi marido no tenía base (al parecer un cheesecake de San Sebastián) y mi cheesecake de chocolate tenía una base de tarta en lugar de galleta - muy decepcionante y caro : - (

Pizzeria gestita da italiani. Abbiamo mangiato una pizza buonissima, prodotti di qualità e cottura al top! Margherita fenomenale!

Great toasted sandwich - I had a veggie sandwich with mozzarella, aubergines and tomatoes on focaccia - toasted. It was de-lush-ious ... My companions had something with bacon which they also raved about. I am told it can be mega busy but we were there as term was ending so it was busy but not manic. The shop doesn't look much but the sandwiches are definitely worth a repeat visit.

He estado aquí dos veces y aunque solo fuimos a tomar algo, debo decir que la comida que vimos venir de la cocina se veía y olía increíble. El camarero era muy amable, servicial y, lo más importante, ¡sabía exactamente cómo hacer una vieja moda! Eso es muy importante para mi. Excelente servicio y ambiente. Hacía demasiado frío para tomar bebidas en el jardín, pero puedes apostar que lo disfrutaremos en primavera o verano.

A nice clean Caffè with friendly staff. Great choice on the menu something to suit everyone. We settled on cream scone and cheese scone. latte and cappuccino both drinks were served with tablet and were nice and hot very reasonably priced. A place we gave been meaning to try and can say we will be back.

A group of 23 people visited here on Sunday 25th May excellent service & superb food. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. The Pizzas are probably the best I have had! Very friendly staff. Also they gave us complimentary garlic& cheese bread.
