Kotch! Italian Stone Baked Pizza & Bar in Newham

Kotch is an excellent pizza restaurant. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Tucked away in Maryland, I worry this pizza place is forgotten and missed by many people but it is well worth making the extra effort to come here. It's a very short walk from Maryland Station (Elizabeth line) and 10 minutes walking from Stratford. The pizzas are authentic Italian stone-baked - it's run and staffed largely by Italians who know what they are doing when it comes to pizza. The restaurant is small and the capacity is small but you can always get a seat. I personally recommend the calzone or the diavola but everything is great. If you want a good quality pizza in London, Kotch is the ONLY place to go!

Délicieuses pizzas pâte fine et bien cuite, fraîchement garnies. Seule ombre au tableau pas de jambon pour le plus grand désespoir de mon fils. Mais perso je me suis vraiment régalée comme jamais ou du moins comme pas depuis bien longtemps. Bon tiramisu aussi. Serveur très sympa et patient vu notre niveau d'anglais. Allez y les yeux fermés

I booked a table for two at 11am on Sunday for breakfast. We arrived about 10.50 and the place was all shuttered up. Went for a walk and returned 10 minutes later. It was still shuttered. There’s a sign outside announcing that they are open for brunch at the weekend. But clearly, they’re not!

Mangiare una pizza così buona è difficile anche in Italia 😅. Siamo capitati per caso in questo locale, incuriositi dal menù appeso alla vetrina e siamo stati più che soddisfatti della cena. Una pizza ottima, ingredienti buoni e genuini. Il personale di sala è stato molto cordiale e attento ad ogni nostra esigenza. Lo consiglierei a chiunque (fanno anche diversi tipi di impasto, tra cui quello integrale e al carbone vegetale) passi da questi parti e non, anzi peccato non averlo scoperto prima. Per quanto riguarda il prezzo nulla da dire, se vuoi mangiare cibo spazzatura a poco vai altrove. Congratulazioni ragazzi 😎

I'm an Italian and for the first time in London I found the real Neapolitan pizza. High quality ingredients, very digestible dough and a flavor that reminded me of being in Italy. Very courteous, professional, youthful staff with a smile always ready to welcome you. I recommend it wholeheartedly. I love it.

Came on a Wednesday @ 7:30pm. Closed. There's no posting of hours on the door, nor any sign explaining the closure. Tried calling, but just rang and rang, no voicemail. I assume it must be permanently closed.

Kotch is the best pizza in London. it's like I'm in Italy, top quality! great service and nice to support local. also very glad it's round the corner from where I live :-)

I often order a delivery from this restaurant and finally I paid them a visit yesterday. I had some fried goods (cuoppo) to start with, containing small rice balls (arancini) and potato Mash balls, both covered in bread crumbs and fried and some fried courgette, amazing. Then a Menabrea beer arrived, accompanied by a delicious Margherita pizza, topped with buffalo mozzarella and Parma ham! In the end I could not resist and I had a tiramisu i shared with my friend, which was followed by a complimentary limoncello with banana liquor. Atmosphere is authentic, staff and owners are friendly and professional, I really wish they opened a bigger restaurant because they deserve it, go there! P. S. I am Italian, so trust me!

I can't recommend Kotch! enough! since it opened it has become our go-to pizza place for eat in (when allowed) and take out. All of their pizzas are made with super fresh ingredients and taste great every time. Highly recommended!

Ho appena ordinato tre pizze con just eat, una salsiccia e fiarielli, una bufala a e una margherita extra provola. La margherita bruciata e sinceramente dell extra provola c’era solo un leggero odore. La salsiccia e fiarielli nella descrizione del sito è indicata come salsiccia di maiale e non con finocchieto , per fortuna che L ho mangiata prima della mia ragazza che è altamente allergica

Kotch! (sit and chill) definitely meets the expectations of having a traditional italian pizza in a wharmth and friendly, east-london style, environment. The menu offers a generous variety of pizzas, also suitable for vegetarian and vegan fellows. High standards ingredients, affordable prices, welcoming staff and positive vibes...well...I would strongly recommend this place!

The pizza here was amazing, excellent dough, perfect tomato sauce and a great range of toppings. We tried a few of the starters and they were superb as well. Staff were really friendly and the service was great. Would definitely recommend!

This was the first time we have used Kotch! - had a pizza takeaway supper on Saturday. Easy to order online, collection available 15 mins later. Pizza was delicious - seriously good base with excellent options for toppings. It's obvious that a lot of love and care is being poured into this business and I hope that they are rewarded with loyal customers in return. We will for sure !
