Delicious food, a relaxing atmosphere, and GREAT and FRIENDLY service.

Unable to guarantee safety of those with nut allergies! Manager refused to serve my 20 year old daughter whose favourite dish has been Chicken Milanese (at Putney Carluccio's, now closed) since she was 2 (she's always had nut allergies)! Apparently "all dishes prepared in same frying pan with pistachios"! UPDATE: Owners confirmed by email that it is "Company Policy" to reject customers with nut allergies as they are unable guarantee their safety.

My partner and I had a somewhat disappointing experience at Carluccio’s. Whilst the service was extremely welcoming and efficient, both the quality of the food and the size of the portions left quite a lot to be desired. The poached eggs were solid, and the whole meal constituted just the single piece of toast and topping. Rather dispiriting considering the price.

Had two dishes and a variety of thinks, all were delicious. Price was good too. Enjoyed the level of service and would absolutely come again.

Found this gem upon visiting Wimbledon. We asked the security officer where we could find restaurants. Ended up in town center Wimbledon. This was one of the better looking options. Service was great. Food is good. Inviting and relaxing atmosphere.

Good food- the menu has something to cater for all tastes. They also have a special gluten-free menu. Very friendly and professional staff. It was evident that they really care for their customers to enjoy their meal. Special shout out to Andreina and Alejandro for their superb service

I recently visited Carluccio's and, unfortunately, my initial experience wasn't great. We stood at the door for several minutes without any acknowledgment, even though two staff members were in front of us, talking and focusing on the till. Just as we were about to leave, one of them asked us to bear with them for a couple of minutes, which we did. Once seated, he came over, apologized, and explained the lapse in service, which I appreciated. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and the food was well presented. While I thought my meal was just okay, my partner thoroughly enjoyed their dish. The dessert, however, was absolutely amazing. I would consider giving Carluccio's a second chance, as I feel it might have been an off day.

Been here twice now and never again. Both times I had a steak , first time around all my greens were cold and the second my steak came in well done instead of medium rare. The waiter took it back and returned the same steak to me ... what can I say other than pass this on to others

Sadly, a really poor experience at Carluccios in Wimbledon. There was a hair in my meal and this was dealt with really poorly in which the meal was pulled from my hand without any real apology. Although some of the staff were friendly, we experienced a dismissive manager who was frustrated with requests from our table, and when it came to paying the bill, yet again, no apology was provided for the hair in the dish, nor was it taken off the bill. This led to me removing the service charge, which the waitress dealt with professionally, but I feel this should not have needed to occur. A major step up is needed here.

Unprofessional staff with delivery partners

I celebrated my son's birthday last night at Carluccio's in Wimbledon and we had a fabulous night!. Food was amazing, service was fantastic and the atmosphere just perfect! We had sharing Antipasti plate and main courses such Risotto di Mare, Pan Fried Gamberoni and Pizzas. All of them were just perfect for quality and quantity. It was our first time and we will certainly visit again! Thank you.

Disappointing. Pappardelle al ragù is in fact not with ragù but with stew. Never heard about stew being a good match with pasta... Also not tasty at all.

Great restaurant amazing staff and outstanding food.

It was great enjoyable dinner for 6 people. We had Seafood Linguine and Risotto di Mare, sharing Antipasti plate and some salads/bread. All of them were just perfect for quality and quantity. Also the service provided by Nish was fantastic and very helpful to get 25% discount from Tastecard. I will visit again and look forward to it. Thank you.

They have set menu from Monday - Friday for £22 per person. Most of the staff are Italians girls and they’re friendly. Chicken Milanese is a little dry, pana cotta was very good

Caluccio’s is always great for a meal and company. This branch has a nice little cake stand as you enter, and as a dessert lover this is great. Staff are friendly and the food is nice.

Food is normally good (although many dishes have too much chilli powder in them) and the staff is kind and welcoming. However, we in the recent weeks delivery orders we had from this restaurant had human hair in them: in a pasta and a pizza on two separate occasions. Very disappointed with the hygiene situation, please beware.

A very underwhelming food, service and atmosphere expensive . I was expecting amazing food but the main dish I ordered (carbonara) tasted lukewarm and lacked any flavour… it was very expensive, I wouldn’t come here again.

I have always loved Carluccio, the Wimbledon branch is one of the few remaining. The portions are very generous so it’s a great value for money. It’s a perfect place with a true italian feel for dinner, weekend lunch and breakfast due to its simplicity and great food.

I had a great Mother’s Day meal for six of us. Service was great. Everybody was so patient and attentive and the meal was really lovely.

I had the Pasta Giardiniera with a side of tender stem broccoli which was absolutely delicious and I was pleasantly surprised with the generous serving. Would definitely eat there again

Today I ordered, as usual, Seafood Linguine and it was the worst I have every received. No mussels, only 3 small half tomatoes, you had to look for the calamari, though their were plenty of prawns and far to much pasta and very dry. I phoned up Carluccio's to be told to go to Uber as it was their problem!!

Sadly my waiting time was twice as long as I was advised. The food lacked flavour and certainly wasn't worth the cost. We had the tuna salad, risotto de mare, seafood linguine, brownie and almond croissant. Can't see the option to upload pics.

First time in Carluccio's Didn t know what to expect but I was pleasently surprised. Can t say it s the best Italian food but it was really tasty and fresh. Coming back to try few more things.

Visited the restaurant around 11am to have a lovely pancake breakfast. The food was nice but the staff were amazing many thanks to the lady who served us. Would definitely visit again.

Had an early dinner there last night. The food was excellent but the service was terrible. Our waitress brought the dessert menu before we'd had our main course. The same waitress got our drinks order totally wrong three times. In the end we cancelled our drinks. When we complained to the person who seemed to be in charge, she said that our waitress spoke little English hence the mix up. Not good enough Carluccio's - I won't be back in a hurry.

My wife bought today a 'too good to go' surprise bag from Carluccio's at Wimbledon village, when she went to collect, she was given a bag with 7 cans of tomato, out of date by more than 2 weeks! when she tried to protest she was told by the member of staff: "it is a surprise bag!" You cannot treat people like this! We are taking the matter with 'too good to go' but I just wanted to share our experience with other customers!

Nice meal with family, don't forget the don't do pizza.

It's a nice place to go to. Highly recommend the duck confit and coffee. It's a bonus that it's dog friendly. Service and food was excellent.

Friday 22nd December Lunch booking. 5 in our party. Food was very good however the following was shocking.. 1. Service very poor and slow 2. Starter arrived went to use salt pot top came off salt all over my meal . Replacement asked for but arrived very late after rest of table finished 3. Ordered a bottle of Prosecco to go with our main meal did not arrived until wee had finish 2nd course. 4. One of our party needed to use the disabled toilet next to our table. Customer dog was in the way of the door. Customer advised my friend to use another toilet and didn’t move their dog. Staff had put a notice on the door… plus the dog was barking a lot and upset our lunch as well as other customers…. Nothing done by staff 5. We all ordered set lunch but our bill came with individual prices on… So not a great success won’t bother coming there again

Went there on 10th December Sunday around 11am asking for a table for 2 and as soon as we asked if we can use Tastecard, the Waitress said " sorry we no longer offer Tastecard any more. We have stopped this". However this Restaurant is still on the Tastecard App!! Have complained to Tastecard of course!!

The worst brunch I ever ate. Small portion , cold poached eggs , old avocado on smallest toast. I’ve asked to change eggs , they gave me eggs back a little bit warmer ( probably used microwave for it ). Absolutely disappointed brunch , I’ll never come back ! Left starving and unhappy

The staff were very friendly and attentive. I had a delicious tea and my friend had toasted panettone. The atmosphere was great as everyone was speaking Italian around us, so very lively.

Me and my partner went mid-week with a Tastecard membership, despite some confusion over whether the discount was still valid or not, the manager was incredibly accommodating and willing to honour. The entire service team were delightful, the food and wine was on point and would recommend this branch.

I had a delivery from this restaurant last night. The lasagna was burned on the top and dry inside (with the pasta extremely overcooked), as per pictures attached. The calamari fritti came without the aioli sauce and tasted like they had been fried in an old oil, as they tasted like something from a cheap chip shop, which has never been the case before. The picture attached is the portion that I threw away, as I could no longer eat them. It's a shame, your quality has drastically declined. Your food used to be so good.

We called in on the off chance breakfast was on offer and what a treat. I had the Vegetarian breakfast and chose poached eggs. It included grilled courgette, avocado, mushrooms, tomato’s and sourdough toast. Eggs were perfectly done. My partner had the Vegan option both our breakfasts were fantastic and excellent portion size. Choice of coffee & teas. I had Earl grey. Service exceptional and lovely staff.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Carluccio's Wimbledon, and I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and the service. The menu features classic Italian dishes, all of which are made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. I started with the bruschetta, which was perfectly toasted and topped with a generous amount of fresh tomatoes and basil. For my main course, I had the spaghetti carbonara, which was cooked to perfection and had the perfect balance of creaminess and acidity. I finished my meal with the tiramisu, which was light and airy and had the perfect amount of sweetness. The service at Carluccio's was also top-notch. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, and he made sure that we had everything we needed. He also took the time to explain the dishes to us, which was really appreciated. Good service and consistent food here in the wimbledon branch of carluccios. It looks small from the outside but it is spacious inside. One of the better Italien chains out there.

Wrong food despite having the correct order on the receipt

My friend and I opted for a late leisurely lunch, so what were the positives? 1. We were both pleased on how super attentive in enquiring about any allergies, intolerances we had. 2. The food was delicious; we had the ricotta spinach ravioli and goats cheese salad. I then devoured the Nutella cheesecake - so good I didn't even share it:) Washed down with crisp, fresh glasses of Rosé. 3. The service was impeccable, especially Andreina, who was professional and meticulous with our order and ensured we were happy. She gave us a card to get 20% of our bill within 14 days, so we'll try and take advantage of that offer. Definitely recommend dining there, no negatives to mention!

Terrible service & cold food at Wimbledon. The place has gone down rapidly since I used to go there with a friend for dinner on Sundays pre-pandemic. Just ordered main course and wine as there was no set menu at weekends. Told that that kitchen was closing in 10 minutes at 8:00pm. The main couse Rissotto del Mare was tiny, more like a starter and it was cold. Looks like the kitchen was already closed and they just threw someting out. No draught beer [apparently they only have it for the two weeks of Wimbledon tennis week!]. Waiter service inattentive. Certainly the worse meal-out experience of my life and my coleague agreed that it was pretty dire. Used to be good. They have now decided that the customer Is not important and with that message neither I nor my colleague will be going back there ever again. I cannot see them enduring the upcoming downturn in the UK economy. I made my points to the waiter, paid my bill and left. Got some chips later on, on the way home, to eat.

The worse service I have ever experienced in a restaurant.Mains arrived before starters, and asked twice for a spoon and eventually getting up asking for a third time to get it. To top it off the Maitre de or whatever you want to call him, accused me of shouting at his colleague. Joke. All that said,the food wasn't bad

Recently visited with colleagues whilst working in the area. Nice restaurant with decent position and ambiance. Service was prompt and friendly. Loses a star as there were quite a few things unavailable on the menu due to the championship which had finished 3 days previously. Food itself was quite nice if a little over priced, would possibly return but would tend to veer towards trying somewhere else in future

We decided to go for an impromptu dinner and were pleased to grab the table here as it was during the Wimbledon week. I haven't been to Carluccio's for years and was pleasantly surprised - the food was really tasty and the service was good despite the restaurant being full. I don't think my sports obsessed teenagers would feel full after the meal here, but it was perfect for me. I guess you can always have all the extras such as bread etc.

Been to Carluccio’s for the first time , the arrancini is delicious, the seafood linguine were really salty and the carbonara had too much water rather than sauce … the deserts were good … overall a good experience but the food average…

Delicious food as expected with delightful waitress. There was a few delays eg bring ketchup for a child. The restaurant takes dogs which was a pleasant surprise.

Luca was so sweet and attentive to our needs today. Really made sure we were happy and checked back on us. The manager with a stripy shirt appeared less pleasant and kind. I would come back for Lucas service :)

It could be 5 star .normally i would give it 5 star but the young managersss tried to fob me with a larger bill than usual.i go thete regularly and George really treats me well.Also the older managerss who is there midweek is wonderful. This time i felt i was being fobbed ofc with an unyusual large bill because she seemed incompetant may me .All j wanted was the price to pay for the signature breakfast with ehich i wanted few items removed as i dont eat pork . I usually go there everytime and get good service.The male manager v polite . This time a young manageress charged me more than what i pay so to make things simple i reverted to the other assistant who always deals with me .but the manageress interupted .she said i was rude but she was overcharging me .The little arguement made me feel uncomfortable .Anyway i convinced her the correct amount that should be paid. Its a shame i will not go there again .The service was so excellent before this little problem .I think the manager or assistant manager is George who is absolutely great .

Carluccio’s in wimbledon is a great place to go with friends or family. Staff at wimbledon branch are very friendly, polite and make you feel very welcome. Food is good and reasonably priced. A place we return often.

It is very basic Italian food. Most people could cook something much better at home. Their only vegan option is frankly pathetic.

I had a wonderful meal at Carluccios Wimbledon.The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. We both started with an Aperol spritz, which was the perfect way to start our meal.The beef ragu pappardelle was rich and flavorful. My wife had chicken saltimbocca witch was also amazing.

Sunday evening lovely atmosphere, had great dinner with hubby. Seafood pasta and chicken risotto absolutely delicious. Staff was very friendly and most important dog friendly. Would definitely come back.

Visited here for my father's 90 birthday. First of all must say that the staff were exceptional. Friendly and very helpful explaining the menu and drink options to all of us. The starters were very nice and quite filling. I had the burger which was OK but can only be done well done which was fine. The rest of the group had a selection of the pastas. Don't come here if you like pizza as there was none. Had an enjoyable time and again the staff were extremely accommodating. Was not too expensive and we all had a good time. Only thing I would say is that the parking around the area is not too great but is free at the weekend after 6pm.
