Di Stefano Coffee in Tower Hamlets

This place has consistently disappointed me with the quality of their food. The food is not bad, but not served fresh. I ordered pizza every time I would go and it would be served cold even after reheating (because it is all premade in the morning). I asked for it to be heated twice so I could finally get warm pizza and it took 20-25 minutes to get to me as I watched at least 4-5 people receive the same order as me way before me and they ordered after me. I also tried the pasta which was mideocre at best as it was sitting in almost a centimeter of oil at the bottom of the bowl. The food is overpriced and not fresh. I followed up after 15 minutes with the people working and the only response was my food was on its way (it was another 10 minutes before I received it) just to receive a mere “sorry”. Will not be going back

My boyfriend and I went to have lunch in this place today, and we went away satisfy: the truffle pasta came with a potatoes salad ( We really appreciate it), the porchetta pizza was good, even if we prefer a bit croucher. The arancino was okay, nothing special: the outside perfect,but the inside was delusional. Chef and waitress were nice. Good Lunch:)

We were looking for a quality place to lunch and stumbled across di stefano , two of us had homemade pasta dishes and one a salmon dish . All were fantastic homemade quality served with little Italian roast potato cubes . They offer vege alternatives too, one of us had the mushroom and truffle pasta , it’s the most enjoyable lunch we’ve had for ages . The staff were pleasant and smiley . They only take card however

Ordered a sandwich escallop which I have had at least twice in the past as it usually comes with generous big strips of fried succulent chicken or the whole escallop in it. Today my chicken escallop was basically made of just bread with load of sauce and tiny little boiled chicken strips which taste disgusting. For a whopping £6 I would have expected more than 3 or 4 tiny boiled (which taste disgusting) piece of chicken. You'd better hire a proper Italian chef

This is the best coffee shop I have ever been to - the food, the people, the customer service.. everything is amazing! I loved every bit of it - you have to visit!! For sure, I will be coming back for more!

This place is (not yet) a full-scale restaurant with a liquor licence. It is, however, a superb cafe that also does pizzas. Absolutely outstanding pizzas! The calzone is to die for. A worthy successor to the late lamented Verdis, which disappeared during the covid shutdowns. Hopefully as the business progresses it will develop its menu further. It's a real gem in a somewhat restaurant-challenged area. Highly recommended.

Found this place while in the area for work and tried the lunch time pasta, was great selection and pasta was amazing! Definitely be back. Staff were really helpful in letting me know what was inside each dish and which was the nicest of to try :)

A stranger in town is walking down mile end road. There's a cafe with tables outside and a guy speaking Italian. This has to be the place to get a coffee, right? 100% correct! Also has fantastic pastries. I was also tempted by the pizza slices straight from the oven. Highly recommended. Friendly service.

If you fancy a nice coffee Distefano is the place you must go! The staff is VERY amazing and the Barista Giorgia made for me the most delicious coffee i have ever had. A worm and nice place where relax in good company and taste al little bit of italy. Thanks Guys! Valerio

Well placed few minutes to Shoreditch High Street station it offers a various selection of savoury and sweet food, everything is so tasty and coffees are just perfectly made. If you are around Columbian road Flower market you definitely have to stop by!!

The food was amazing. It is like an expert cooked it. Both the savoury and sweet dishes were just amazing. Probably the best eat out food I have ever had. The design of the place is quite awesome too and really cosy. And they had some free cucumber water which was quite awesome.

We all very much enjoyed this place which is near the Old Street roundabout. It was quiet on a Sunday afternoon so we had no trouble finding a table outside. We enjoyed both iced and hot coffees as well as a pastry and an excellent focaccia served warm. A definite find in this part of London with friendly serving staff as well.

First venture out for brunch for months. Sat outside, warm welcome, Gorgeous coffee, fantastic forcaccia and flatbreads. cocktails look good too. We’ll be back 😊
