The Shop At The Top in Malvern Hills

Hidden at the top of a pub car park this amazing little farm shop and cafe is a hidden gem. A farm shop and cafe all rolled into one. On the shop side, sells a real range of fresh farm vegetables, bread, and supplies. On the cafe side, a great cooked breakfast, lunchtime paninis stuffed jacket potatoes and cake. it's busy here so please be patient if the service seems a little slow, it is worth waiting for. There is a heated outside area and small inside eating if the weather is inclement..

Went to the shop at the top last Saturday with friends for our brunch. there was a lovely member of staff working that day she was very polite and managed to serve us quickly as the place was packed full of people and she was on her own. we orders a lovely full English which came out super quick even when the worker was in a rush and out coffees came out at the same time as well!!! What a hidden gem, super impressed with the caffe and the location. They have a main pub on site, campsite with glamping pods at the top and an bird aviary full of beautiful birds. Will defo be coimg back!!!

I visited The Shop At The Top with a couple of friends i hadn’t seen in a while. We went early in the morning. I had a full english and my friends had the breakfast baps. Lovely food, even better coffee and friendly staff. Will be back

It pains me to write this as the staff there and at the pub are lovely. Six friends get to a deserved restaurant and order breakfast. Two hours to wait for breakfast. Apologies given by a stressed out cook. Five out of the six meals were tepid at best and one hot. The mushrooms had been cooked In water and were tasteless and soggy. I had to eat as I'm diabetic otherwise I feel we would've rejected them all. But we were genuinely fearful that the cook would've crumbled. Too add insult to injury she then brought out one slice of cold black pudding and half a piece of cold bacon ( between 6) to say sorry. A joke. We got a free pot of tea and a coffee and some more cold toast with frozen butter. We simply used the cafe as a joke for the weekend. We actually thought about ordering for the next day at 7pm. Possibly the worst breakfast I have had for decades. The next day whilst cooking our own brekkie we ordered six coffees. Yep you guessed it. 45 minutes !! No urgency , no apologies but the same member of staff. Appalling. The camp site was nice and evening meal in the pub lovely but this has made all six of us to vow to never return to the site. At this rate all the locals will abandon soon. A farce.

Only located this place few weeks back having lived nearby for nearly 40 yrs!!!! Super location at the back The Bush PH. Plenty of parking and easy access, and they welcome dogs too. Fantastic coffee and very good breakfast sandwiches. Seems well supported by locals too. Activities for smaller people too The vegetables and fresh fuit for sale were of good quality and value.

stayed on caravan site, good quality shop different chutneys local made I should think. next to a good cafe which was reasonably priced.

Visited mid afternoon, mainly for coffee and cake but then also picked up a few locally produced goodies from the shop. Delightful place, very engaging member of staff, great place to just sit outside and enjoy a relaxing drink etc. From this visit we came back the next day to visit the Old Bush pub for lunch. Aviary and birdlife for viewing, toilet facility and a 'clamping site/pods' for feature reference behind the 'Top shop'.

Matt, Karen, Emma, just goes to show that the effort you put in is directly proportional to the standard that you've achieved - and if that's a little profound see below: A real addition to village life, great staff, produce and service. Full of Deli treats.

My husband Daryl and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this lovely cafe. My hubby loved tucking into his sausage roll and the coffee was spot on! Definitely recommend xxxxxxxxxx

Tucked away next to The Old Bush Pub you will find this lovely little cafe serving the most delicious selection of cakes, light snacks and hot/cold drinks. There is also a very well stocked shop offering fresh local produce along with every day essentials. Staff are lovely, and make it just as a village shop should be. There is a lovely covered, heated terrace (along with snuggly blankets) to sit and enjoy all this lovely little place has to offer.

Our local is now even better with this great shop and cafe. A brilliant place to enjoy a coffee and a sandwich after a walk up the hills. The scotch eggs are the best!

I stopped here for a quick bite to eat on my way to work. The staff were really lovely and the service was really quick. I had a warm coffee and a scotch egg. To make it even better, i was sat on a nice sofa within the heated area outside. All covid safe and over all a great little place in Callow End.

Lovely little shop with well priced cakes and hot drinks, the seating area has recently been updated meaning it was nice and cosy with the heaters on and shelter over your head. Really covid friendly and just a lovely place to visit.
