Always great food and a warm and friendly service. Highly recommend.

Staff approach was excelent and the food was good from a menu which makes it stand out from other Italian restaurants. The approach to Gluten Free was appreciated lots of good choice.

Me and my partner had a day out in Malvern on Sunday 14th April. It was the first time we both had been to the town. We were both hungry and was looking for somewhere to eat and we stumbled across ASK ITALIAN . We had a look at the menu on the notice board outside the venue and thought we would give it a try. We were taken to a table and given a complimentary glass of Homemade Lemonade which was very nice. We both had a main meal and a side order to. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic too. We were served by Jazz & Lilly they were very assertive and nothing was to much trouble. They are both a credit to your company. Having good staff is the back bone to any business. We would definitely come back and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to our family & friends.

Nice place, started were lovely however the main wasn't too nice I'm afraid. Pasta was to hard and crispy on top! Also cocktail was nothing special and just tasted like wine mixed with elderflower Shame 😔

The service was incredibly slow, although the place was empty, we sat in the place they showed us, then they said that it was for more crowded customers and took us to another table. The food is mediocre, not worth it! Definitely a waste of time!

Had dinner at ASK this evening - it was choc-a-bloc! But even though it was so full there were enough staff to cope with it all, and they did so with a smile and efficiency. The food was delicious, and the wines were excellent. The only very small negative was that it was super noisy and at times conversation was difficult. I went to a restaurant in downtown LA once and they had stuck ordinary cheap foam to the underside of the tables - it absorbs and reduces sound. Maybe that would help!

We have been to Great Malvern Ask many times before but tonight it was exceptional. The service was brilliant, staff so attentive especially Alex! He was amazing, serving so many tables and his service was second to none. Our little girl was very happy with her meal too. The food was amazing, good portion sizes and really tasty. We will be back again!! Thanks for a great start to the Easter holidays!

We booked for a midweek meal. The staff were ore occupied with a large group booking. Waited nearly 50 minutes for our starters and received an apology and reassurance there woul be no delays. However, nobody came to clear our starter plates and they continued to ignore our existence I rhe building whilst focusing on the large group booking. Didn't even bother having our main course as didn't want to spend the entire night in there. Awful, awful service.

Everything was perfect, apart from a small mistake with the order, because instead of a vegetarian dish, meat was delivered, but the error was corrected and a glass of wine was provided as compensation.

Pizzas were small/thin but nice. My 24 year old could eat two. Used to be better/bigger. Good service. Nice atmosphere. The bottle of wine could have been better. The label raised expectations.

Very friendly staff! We ordered with a large group shortly before our visit. This was no problem and we got served very well. Even some special requests were accepted with a smile. We really felt very welcome here. Also important: For a chain restaurant, the pizza was really tasteful!

Super, we were 6 with no booking and they coped perfectly. There was a car park, thankfully and we had a lovely waitress- she wore all her hair in a head scarf so she stands out- if you see her. Kids adored the food. Recommend the chocky Gnocchi for pudding 😋

Food was very nice but the service was very slow.

Too hit and miss to give a decent review too. Coffee machine out of order and declined a instant coffee but was charged anyway. Food was ok, menu was limited by availability. Calzone burnt and our meals arrived at different times, this has been my experience here before. Nice place, average food but I think there's better locally.

Attended here few times now while being on holiday at our caravan!! very welcoming staff especially alicja bends over backwards to make sure you are having best service possible, food, waiter service is faultless and the kids found her hilarious one of the best place to eat in Malvern keep up the good work James,charlotte and kids 👍🏻

Friday night - be prepared for a long wait. We had two younger teens, so the wait was too much. However, for those that don’t mind waiting and have time to kill, it might not have been so bad. While the food was great, the service really let the restaurant down. Some of the staff were very amenable, but only when asked. It took over an hour for our starter to arrive, in the meantime we had empty drinks for over 30mins and had to flag someone down for another round. Our mains arrived before we had finished our starters. We had to ask for desserts after waiting another 30 mins after finishing the mains. After another 10-15 mins, the desserts then arrived and they suddenly realised they hadn’t cleared the mains dishes. Sadly, the staff are just overwhelmed. The only thing to arrive promptly was the bill.

Food was alright. Pizza was bland. Service was really good. Lady was helpful.

Great experience. Lovely location on the side of the hill with great views out of the upper floor windows. Food and drinks were great as well as the service.

A wonderful selection of food, the waitress was lovely throughout, the food is fresh and delicious with a good portion size, the price is fair for what you get and the overall experience is worth it.

Service - felt pressured into ordering a starter and guilted into ordering desserts/coffees. Poor customer service Value for money - Paid for extra toppings on pizza, got 6 tiny olives and a dozen slices of mushroom. Pizza base was mostly burnt Please invest in another vegan cheese, or atleast sample it so the wait staff and chefs realise what the customers experience when they order it. Luckily we are from out of town so we don’t have to repeat our experience

Great, lovely food and all clean and tidy. Service was good but was slightly pushy on trying to upsell, which I can understand is expected but became a little awkward.

Came here for my grandmother's birthday and had a lovely time! Food was delicious and had lots of vegan options which was brilliant! Service was excellent and they sorted out a birthday sing-a-long with my grandmother's dessert! ♥️

The place got busy but the staff handled it like troopers! Especially a young girl who was practically running the place! She needs a pay rise!

Lovely food and no real wait time. Unfortunately I was given a table with the menu, new napkin/cutlery, etc laying over a table that had been uncleaned with lots of crumbs from the previous customer. I used an anti bac wipe and cleaned my area and it was noticed by a staff member who proceeded to clean the table as it should have been. So a star deduction as a result.

Service was poor, booked a table and ended up waiting ten minutes before a member of staff even approached us to take us to our table. Then seated us at a dirty table, didn't clean or take the plates away until our starters arrived. Had to order through the app as no one came to take our orders. Had to wait ages for our drinks then served us the wrong drinks because they'd sold out of the drinks we'd ordered and didn't tell us. Overall the food was okay but not worth the price. Staff seem friendly but there just aren't enough staff working for the amount of custom they get. Disappointed with the evening.

Food was pretty tragic tbh they tasted lovely however both prawn dishes I had the shells were still on the prawns even in the pasta dish. The portion size was silly considering £15-17 for a pasta dish and you get a small handful. The service was pretty rubbish and we were forgotten about right from the start, all the waitresses were too busy talking to each other at the bar. What made the meal out for myself and my partner was see how tremendously hard the waiter Lee was working. He was clearly doing the job of 4 people, while keeping up conversation with customers and getting orders to customers he was serving very quickly. This man needs some recognition for his hard work clearly carrying the whole floor team and deserves a pay rise. He’s the reason i’m giving a 3 star and not a 1. Keep up the legendary work Lee 👍🏻

Lots of choice and the food was quick. Lots of seating inside and out and it feels very Mediterranean in the courtyard. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to returning again in the future!

One of the nicest Ask branches. Spacious and the front french doors open on both sides to allow a through breeze on a warm day. Service a little slow but they were busy. Recommended.

Lovely food, very helpful waiters! Came here again on 27th May 2023 and I'd just like to say that things have not changed! The waitress we had was new and she made a minor mistake with another customers order. They were vile to her even after an apology. She was a fantastic waitress and we couldn't fault her at all. She was chatty, friendly and just brilliant. The food was delicious and overall, we had a lovely evening.

I am absolutely horrified at this service🤬 No wonder it’s called ASK ITALIAN, we had to keep on ASKING!!! No seriously for 50mins.

Service and food seems to have gone downhill a bit in recent years, along with the age of servers. Used to be a regular haunt as a pleasant place to catch up with friends. Wouldn't be a first choice at present. I'll give it a while, and try again in a few months.

Had lunch on Wednesday and returned again on Thursday. Staff recognised our group and even asked if we would like the same again. Friendly staff and attentive without hovering. Food was good, served to our table quickly. Despite it being a busy Thursday afternoon. Would recommend.

Party of 8 we had long wait initially for drinks and taking our food orders. After that all fine albeit noisy. Food very nice

Due to a shortage of experienced competent servers we had to wait unreasonably long times to order each course. Had to ask & wait some time for cutlery & dessert menu. The food was very good & the kitchen staff appeared organised. The younger servers worked hard but didn't seem to be very focused so lacked concentration. Ask Restaurant needs to make sure that young staff are properly trained & appropriate support given to supervisory & management staff.

Harvey was amazing, very professional and encouraged me to get a starter too! Will definitely be back.

Overpriced small portions. Pre theatre was very busy but they did fit us in. Staff seemed friendly. Wife had pizza, I had the more expensive "most loved" pulled beef brisket pappardelle...... What a let down....small bowl of pasta with a tablespoon of pulled beef.... Pathetic portion for the hefty price, could have been a starter... Not only was it a minute portion of meat, it was rather bland too...the whole lot was tasteless. Wife says pizza was ok, just average. These two with two small bottles of Coca-Cola was £35!!? Never again.

Yummy meal as usual just a bit disappointed that the courgette zucchini sticks had VERY little courgette in them this time!!

An upstairs open area chain restaurant with bright lights. The service was OK. The food was tasty but the Fettuccine I had looked grey (it tasted OK);and I was offered no Parmesan. Others had good that looked more appealing.

I felt so sorry for the staff. One man running around trying to do everything, one woman hobbling around with a knee brace and a woman who just appeared a bit like a deer in the headlights. We had a 1 hour wait for the food. When it did come it was very nice. They had gluten free options for my coeliac daughter but the dessert options for her were seriously lacking. The staff were really trying their best and were clearly short staffed. However I probably wouldn't go again because I wouldn't want to wait that long for food again

Great family dining at realistic prices and very reliable. The kids love Italian eateries and we prefer this to Prezzo (food is comparable but Prezzo Malvern feels a bit subterranean). I’d like Ask to refresh their menu a bit more frequently but I’m not marking them down - it’s a chain restaurant. The staff are great: Lee is a legend. We’ll keep returning.
