What a spot!! An absolute hidden gem. Staff were all really lovely, beautiful view from the tables and the food...superb. We had the daube of beef and a chicken stack. We certainly weren't hungry!! Highly highly recommend, it's not often you get top quality food for such a reasonable price

One of the only places we found open after 8pm, we really enjoyed their chicken strips and chips (fries). The two ladies making the food were really nice, and closely watched the food cooking so it wasn't overdone. Probably the best fast food meals we had while in Ireland/Northern Ireland, and super reasonable prices. We had 4 good size pieces of chicken and fries for around $10.

An oasis of old world charm in unassuming Ballinamore outside Ballymoney. This rambling cottage is totally charming and huge. There were 10 of us, but it could easily have held 20. Brilliant drawing rooms to sit in (complete with grand piano for a sing along), a fantastic well equipped kitchen ( it used to have a restaurant) and plenty of loos (even if we couldn't find the lights for the one near the kitchen until the eve of our departure.) The wall panels in the front hall tell the fascinating history of the place. The garden is really a series of glades intersperced with thickets leading down to the old mill. What a marvel it would be for children in summertime! Heating seemed good though to be fair it wasn't that cold for early October outside. Our bathroom was good with a power shower which I imagine worked well if you were more familiar with power shower controls, which I wasn't. It was fun trying to work it out anyway. This place is well worth the money if you have a large group.

Popped Into the Crosskeys in as its been on my list for ages to go and see and definitely was not disappointed the rural enough location only really adds to the charm of the whole place. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the Guinness was excellent I even bought a bottle of whiskey for the memory

Millar’s Pub in Ballycarry is a gem with a truly warm and welcoming atmosphere. The friendly staff go out of their way to make you feel right at home, creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment that attracts locals and visitors alike. The menu offers a great selection of pub grub, with options that cater well to vegetarians, which is always a nice find in a traditional pub setting. Millar’s is also a fantastic place to catch a rugby match. The setup for televised sports means you can settle in with a great view and enjoy the game alongside a passionate crowd. If you’re looking for a spot with authentic local flavor, good food, and lively rugby screenings try Millars.

We decided too stop off here for a Saturday lunch on our way to Ballycastle and boy what a gem this place is. I went for the 6oz steak burger my wife went for the 10oz rump steak and my son plumped for the salted chilli chicken and the food certainly didn’t disappoint. All three of us thuroughly enjoyed our meals and the service was absolutely first class with the waitress being very attentive and extremely friendly. I have no hesitation giving the Armada a 5 star review and all I can say is “We will be back”

We just thought we’d try here as golf clubs generally have a good reputation for their food . Best decision of the holiday , food was delicious, good quality and well presented. All four of us cleared our plates . Staff were so friendly, adapted menu with no hesitation to suit ‘the awkward one’ . Beautiful views from the restaurant, definitely a hidden gem
