The best restaurants in North Eastern NI

My partner and I went for breakfast on Christmas eve in Safari they were extremely busy the staff was under a lot of pressure to get the orders out and still they where full of Christmas cheer addentive and informative with regard to ordering food . The kitchen staff put out fabulous food as always even being under pressure it still came out looking fantastic and tasting great. Wishing Dave and Dee the owners and the staff a very happy Christmas and busy new year.

Great place to eat and have a nice pint. Been many times and never had a bad meal. Best chicken wings about. 👍👌

This is the best place to eat in Portrush the most friendly staff I have ever met the food was better than any where in northern Ireland great with children thank you girls for the great food

Truly the best grilled cheese, or toasties, I have ever eaten!!! So good!! The bread was crusty, and the cheese!! Crispy on the outside and warm and gooey on the inside. It doesn’t get any better for comfort food!! Our group tried the #1 & #3; all amazing. Get the pickles. The jalapeños aren’t very spicy, though I’d have been happy if they were. The kids had the kids sandwich and they also were very pleased. LOVE this place!! The market is fantastic as well. So many yummy things available to make your next meal very special. I wish I lived next door!

Food was superb! Fish pie was absolutely delicious, would highly recommend. Service was excellent and the staff were very attentive. Perfect start to a nigh out.

What an amazing place! Just like walking into a Victorian sitting room. Very warm welcome. Had a home made pizza (which had tasty home cooked ham in abundance) fries, homemade cake and a bottomless pot of tea. We stayed for ages chatting to the owners and fellow diners. Everyone so friendly and welcoming. We were so sorry we were passing through on a tour of Ireland and couldn't return.

Beautiful restaurant, food was excellent great flavours ,big portions,staff lovely and friendly,and also a reasonable price second time here and will definitely be back

Lovely staff, nice food and very reasonably priced. But would love to see some vegan options added to the menu it would bring in a lot of business:)

great spot for a private paarty. All the staff were very helpful setting up the room for our party. Bar staff were great and the buffet food was plentiful and hot, the DJ hit all the right music for our age group and a great time was had by all. No hesitation recommending this place.

The staff were incredibly friendly with some top notch hospitality plus the apple pie and custard was amazing!

Opted for the cod supper this time and it was absolutely delicious. Well cooked and ample portions. Staff very pleasant as always too.

I'd a lovely morning at Whitehead Railway Museum and Platform 3 cafe. Delicious breakfast bap with tea served on China cup and saucer. Lovely staff and food delicious. This is a great place to eat and enjoy some history about railway.
