First time here and will not be my last. Great staff, so friendly and helpful. We started with cocktails and then Taiwan beer which had a very clean taste to it which went well with the food. The meals were wonderful, couldn’t fault a single thing. Every fork full was heavenly, great flavours and every dish was delicious. A perfect afternoon spent in a relaxing atmosphere. Thank you.

Been 3 times, each time has been excellent, best in ballyhack for something different. Popped in today for lunch, shame it was empty, however food was just as good, so they put in the effort.

Went here for a late lunch (brunch menu) with colleagues and absolutely loved it. We were a large table and the service was excellent, staff were super friendly. Highly recommend the kimchi fritters, will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing food. The combination of tastes was perfect. I had the Arancini to start & then beef for main course and both exceptional. Staff were lovely & place had a really good atmosphere. Loved it

I had never written a negative restaurant review until now. Both my father and my husband work in hospitality, and I have seen how negative reviews affect them. Unfortunately, this one is unavoidable, as alongside my first negative review, it was the first time ever I walked out of a restaurant after being mistreated by a member of staff. I arrived seven minutes early for my booking at 8 p.m. yesterday, and was told by at least two members of staff that I was "ten minutes early" and that I had to wait for my table. Odd, but okay as it is a small restaurant which recently opened. As I was standing near the entrance, two customers arrived and asked me if I were waiting for my table. I jokingly replied that it had been highlighted to me twice that I was ten minutes early, so my table wasn't ready, and one of the customers pointed to two free tables across from us. As he was doing that, the manager greeted them and informed that their table was ready. In complete disbelief, I asked why their table was ready, but not mine, as they arrived after me. The manager's defensive reply was "but I haven't walked them to their table yet" and then proceeded to explain to the other two customers that "she arrived too early, so her table isn't ready yet". The two customers then asked about the two free tables across from us and the manager replied that it was a table of four, and he had, allegedly, allocated a table near the door for my booking, which still had customers having desserts and drinks. At that point, it was past 8 p.m., and I had no choice but to walk out of the restaurant as I felt very much like a nuisance to them, instead of a paying customer willing to spend my disposable income at their newly opened restaurant. While I was waiting for my friend in front of the restaurant, one of the customers (!) went outside to advise that they were willing to split that table of four for me. About ten minutes later, as my friend and I were already ordering at a restaurant nearby, I received a phone call from the manager. No, it wasn't a courtesy call to reassure me that my card wasn't going to be charged, but an extension of his defensiveness to explain why he couldn't allocate one of free tables to me because it was for a booking of four. The cherry on top of the cake was the utterance "I'm sorry IF you felt unwelcome at our restaurant". I have been to good and bad restaurants, but in all I have experienced at least a minimum level of respect. This certainly wasn’t the case for Banh Boy. I hope that this doesn't happen to other customers.

Absolutely delicious lamb sandwich thing recommended to me. I'm a sucker for customer service and these guys are great at it. Next time i'm in Antrim I'll definitely call in again.

Can't rate this place highly enough. I travelled from Belfast today just to go here. Service was brilliant. Food and coffee was perfect.

Bahn Boy single handedly makes Antrim Castle Mall worth visiting. Delicious authentic Vietnamese food, strong & varied flavours to each dish as well as great coffee. We've been back many times since we discovered Bahn Boy a couple of years ago. The food is that good, plus they usually have a full veggie/vegan menu to choose from which is handy for me! They can also make alterations to the menu on request plus they change up the menu every 2-3 months. Myself + my partner have brought our parents to Bahn Boy & they absolutely adore the food too. Lastly the staff are superb, friendly & very attentive. Would recommend anyone give Bahn Boy a go.

Very attentive, and checked in with me to see if everything was to my liking! Highly Recommend - Wee Gem, with unique lunch options in Castle Mall, Antrim. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is exactly what Antrim needed. The banh mi is absolutely incredible, the chicken katsu fries are amazing and they even do an amazing iced coffee! I've been here three times and it has always been a great experience - no doubt I'll be back again soon!

We had a chicken katsu banh and a vegan squash banh. Excellent combination of flavours, spicy sweetness and fresh herbs. Service was friendly helpful and engaging. 10/10 will be back.

Probably best food in Northern Ireland :)) every time we go, its amazing. service always very friendly, food looks so fancy and profesional, even its like small cafe but...guys...we will go to have breakfast in there in 2 hours and I already happy as child and cant wait :D :D for staff I wish best guys, hope one day you will open more places with SAME STANDARTS. please don't lose it. Even I have wait almost all hour every time, its FULLY WORTH. See you in few hours :)))

We had a 5 piece sample menu where each dish complimented the other, with neither I or my husband wanting any dish to end. I'd like to give a mention to two dishes in particular; Mushroom, Miso noodle soup and the Beetroot tartare - beautifully and delicately balanced with wonderful asain notes layered that took me straight back to my travels. Genuinely some of, if not the best food I've had since moving to NI over 4 years ago. The food is made with care, attention to detail and a beautiful balance of asian flavours. Whilst the dishes are not what you would literally find walking the streets of Vietnam, they sing of the cusine found all over the country in an individual and unique style to the chefs at Banh Boy. I think it's fair to say you have two new customers for life now. Excellent food that I cannot wait to come back for time and time again. Thank you, it was a taste sensation.

Just finished lunch in this brilliant little spot. Set in a shopping centre as it is, I still trusted a quick read on Tripadvisor and certainly wasn’t disappointed. The food is delicious, fresh and skilfully prepared and cooked. Service was excellent, a minor confusion with one of the dishes was taken off the bill immediately. This place is restaurant quality in a cafe setting and I’ll certainly be back. Hurry up and open in Belfast city centre!

Brilliant food, lovely staff, always a fresh menu, possibly monthly? Vegan, veggie menus and consideration for dietary needs. Sometimes there's a wait for a table but the place is always buzzing and happy and it's well worth the wait!

Fantastic and unique spot down in the heart of Antrim. It's quaint in size, but I've always been able to get a seat. I humble recommend trying at the very least a Vietnamese coffee (a shot for espresso and about equal amounts condensed milk, to be stirred to your preference). It's bold, intense, and sweet. The food itself is phenomenal. Mostly South asian influences with a hearty drop of northern irish ingenuity mixed in to make truly original dishes where each ingredient feels thought out and lovingly added. The flavours are rich, vivid, and varied across their meals. On top of this, the atmosphere of the place, mixed in with the friendly banter of the staff and it is in one of my top 3 places go to for a lunch scran if your in the area. This is not my first visit, and it definitely will not be my last.

To be honest it's very refreshing for something so modern to be in antrim, the staff were very polite and well mannered and the food was amazing, I didn't think I would like it, but this place totally proved me wrong, I'm definitely coming back here in the future.

Unexpected authenticity in Antrim! We have been meaning to try for a while and I’m so glad we finally did. Small restaurant but extremely friendly service and absolutely lovely authentic food. Beef curry (substituted with rump on this occasion) and Tofu Ramen both outstanding and tempura broccoli excellent too. It’s a shame they don’t have more tables as witnessed at least 6 customers turned away. Enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee too - really nice. To top it off - excellent value too. We will be back soon!

Curry night is amazing, the prawn starter is out of this world 🌍. Would highly recommend if you wanna try something different

We picked up a takeaway today. Was super easy and the staff were lovely and communicative and we went and did some shopping while it was being made. Takaway packing was all environmentally friendly and the food was delicous. Honestly the best I’ve eaten in while and I felt nourished from it. Great menu, great staff. Will be back for a sit down meal soon x

The standard of food served here is absolutely exceptional and the staff are so welcoming too. A rare combination! I've been on three occasions now when visiting family in Antrim, including once for their set evening menu, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Sincerely hope the place gets well supported by the people of Antrim as they are so lucky to have it on their doorstep! Looking forward to our next visit!

inside a shopping complex this no frills small coffee shop / restaurant delivers friendly service with staff readily advising on food options etc. Its the food itself, a menu that changes often, that is of a quality (and surprise) that makes this place exceptional. Vietnamese in origin each and every dish is a stand out. My 4th visit, each time with different people, and each time experience new flavours and tastes. And cheap. On my last visit we eat that evening in one of Belfasts most renown restaurants and the taste / presentation / service while excellent, was poor compared to what the guys produce. Well worth the detour.

Found this hidden gem in Antrim shopping centre and we just loved it. So nice to find something different in N.Ireland. The menu is a mixture of Asian cuisines and is cooked to perfection with wonderful flavours . We both had the pork ramen bowl...
