This is a lovely place to have lunch or a snack from modern and unique menu options. The lounge has really comfortable seating and tables. Coffee is really good and a window seat treats you to lovely views over the monastery grounds. Its a great place for meeting up with friends or family or sitting solo chilling with the paper.

I like to stop in here when holidaying in the area. The sausage rolls are fantastic 😀. The service is great. The lunch menu is very good. The interior has been improved since my last visit which made a good place even better.

Called here on way home with a friend. It wasnt busy the surroundings are relaxed even though its on the giftware floor you dont feel like you are in a department store. We had a light lunch good selection of salads etc. Really good coffee and the desserts looked amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I took my friend here for lunch one Saturday afternoon. She had never been before and didn't know it existed, after her meal she is keen to return. I love being able to go for lunch then take a walk around the gifts for sale. It is the perfect location for a rainy afternoon. The food is lovely and the staff are friendly. There are plenty of options to choose from and the dessert options prove hard to refuse. I have also visited for coffee in the afternoon, both visits were enjoyable and I will definitely return without issue.

This coffee shop was recommended to me and we thought we’d try it. So glad we did. I’ve been here several times with family and twice on my own. The food, from soup, paninis and quiche to coffee, desserts and tray bakes, is delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are very pleasant. Definitely recommended.

Been here twice. Beautiful setting on the edge of the River Bann. The excellent staff fully complemented the quality cuisine. Would have no hesitation in returning on a future occasion.

I have visited this coffee shop on several occasions and have loved it every time. What a fantastic selection of food and all good quality. Especially love your scones - raspberry & white chocolate, pear & almond and orange & chocolate being my favourites. Lunch choices, desserts and buns are great too. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Lovely seating areas that are very comfortable. Toilets are kept clean too.

Situated above the Eurospar in Portglenone is a quality Cafe, serving lovely tasty homemade food. The staff are welcoming and efficient. Food is freshly prepared and nicely presented. The home made Wheaten was so good I bought some to take home. Worth the trip to Portglenone.

Good food selection with an amazing selection of cakes and tray bakes. Food can be slightly expensive, but everything is home cooked so can be forgiven. The lounge itself is a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere and you never feel as though you are put under any pressure to leave. The staff are also very welcoming and friendly and always full of chat. A hidden gem in Portglenone that I've been telling everyone about!

I first impression of this place was how clean it was. The table set up allows you to lounge of a coffee with friends or sit up for lunch. The food options are innovative and absolutely beautiful. I went for coffee with a friend and went back the very next day as the quiche was to die for and the Carmel square was yum! A hidden gem in Portglenone. Can't wait to go back.

I have been to Fullan's Coffee Lounge in Portglenone twice in a past few weeks. The food was more than good, selection excellent but I have to be honest, service could be better. The team in the coffee shop do a good job and serve...

Lovely staff, nice food and very reasonably priced. But would love to see some vegan options added to the menu it would bring in a lot of business:)

Not the best meal I've had I ordered the haddock and chips everything tasted of garlic and the haddock was swimming in mushy peas. I've had the same meal in Coleman's and Jake's bar in Antrim much better and cheaper. Out of 10 I'd give the Halfway house a 5 .

So excited to finally go here with my daughter but the experience wasn't what I expected. For the prices there is no table service you have to order at the till. I was not advised correctly when asking about the Spanish hot chocolate. It isn't a drink it comes in a bowl for dipping biscuits in. I specifically asked was it like a normal hot chocolate you could drink and was told yes. I ordered coffee and 2 savoury pancakes. Paying by card I was asked to select what tip I wanted to leave. Feeling like I had no option I left one. Then we waited on our food. I had to go and order tea after the "drinks" arrived as the Spanish hot chocolate is not a drink and leave another tip. We waited again and after 35 minutes of waiting I asked for a refund. To be told that the food order hadn't been sent to the kitchen. We didn't have time to wait any longer. When the refund was being done they didn't ask what of your tip you would like refunded. I don't mind paying for service but we didn't get any. Can't review the food as we didn't get any of that. Won't be back. Sometimes best to stick to the places you know.

This was the first time I was in this little cafe. I was pleasantly impressed by the friendlies and helpful staff, especially the girl with blonde hair tied up. I had a sweet chilli chicken with sweetcorn and mayo toastie with a side salad and a small half shot decaf cappuccino sprinkled with chocolate 😋 I will call in again. If I am in Ballymena 😊
