The best restaurants serving British food in North Eastern NI

This is the best place to eat in Portrush the most friendly staff I have ever met the food was better than any where in northern Ireland great with children thank you girls for the great food

I'd a lovely morning at Whitehead Railway Museum and Platform 3 cafe. Delicious breakfast bap with tea served on China cup and saucer. Lovely staff and food delicious. This is a great place to eat and enjoy some history about railway.

Its not often that you get someone who actually does care about the food he puts out... Mr D really does. Its his own business so its not some employee that couldnt care less. I do highly recommend the burgers but to be quite honest everything is good.

Salad sandwiches came with unasked for big lumps of pineapple included. Bizarre. Very 'wet' and messy with loads of mayo, not 'a bit' as asked for. Dried herbs sprinkled over everything, sandwiches, soup, that's a new one on me. Veg soup was 'ok', found the greyish diced potato unusual. We left a lot of it uneaten. Might be alright here if you're a meat eater. Staff were nice enough but what was coming out of the kitchen.. hmm. We wouldn't go back.

Had a fab meal at this restaurant. Was fairly quiet so was bit concerned as other places all booked out but had no cause for concern once we got our food. Quite a meaty menu but found something for everyone. We had a table of ten and the service was brilliant. Staff all really friendly and obliging. Couldn’t do enough for us. Food was brilliant, I had steak, so tasty and cooked to perfection, hubby had the stack and loved it, best main meal out for a long time and that’s saying something when we live in south belfast. Great value and service, tasty cocktails will def book here again. Only thing, maybe expand the dessert menu pls.

I normally went in to Chippy for stuff, staff were pleasant,courteous and efficient. Great Food, freshly made, and an enjoyable experience. So I decided to get a delivery, 1 night. Food came hot, fresh and enjoyable. Delivery Driver was mannerly, polite. Overall another great experience. I'll be back.

Amazing food, fantastic service, our first visit to this very special place. Added to by the warm fires and the snow on the ground.

Good Americano coffee and Sodabread Pizza was fine. No Salami or Peperoini, but ham and vegetables were okay. Got a homemade Christmas Mince pie 🥧 to takeaway.

Great for gifts with animal characters. Fab range of pet supplies and dog grooming shampoos, sprays, Clippers etc.

The wee bistro is safe enough for you to go there alone and the staf is nice and kind and the food and drinks are great and there is beautiful lights all around the wee bistro and there is a bus stop near the wee bistro

Brilliant wee cafe. Large fry was amazing. Great value at £9 which included OJ and tea or coffee. Filthy chips were delicious too and they were only £5.25. Definitely will be back 🥰

Fantastic meal here got the early bird 2 course menu, which was very reasonably priced and of excellent quality. Loved the place, and the service was excellent .Would highly recommend

Loved it, ordered a steak that was cooked to a perfect medium rare, with a nice crust and well seasoned. Peppercorn sauce was good and I like that they don't skimp on the garlic butter for the the garlic fries. Service was quick and the staff were really friendly. Would go back.
