Absolutely love this wee bar, excellent customer service, food and atmosphere. Staff are fantastic and it's dog friendly too, our big rottweiler Murphy gets spoilt by the staff ❤️.Super friendly and cosy, especially when the open fires lit, great place to watch the rugby....A wee gem of a place.

Food was delicious even though there wasn't any lobster. Service was efficient and friendly. Sorry there were no puddings available, but all 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our main courses

We had a lovely Sunday meal with our daughter and grandchildren, the service from the staff was excellent, and we will see you again soon, would recommend miller's to anyone. 👍

We came here for lunch and enjoyed simple food, scampi and chips and spicy chicken coupons and chips, which were very tasty and excellently prepared. Great food at sensible prices. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic, from start to finish the service was second to none. We had the steaks with all the trimmings, complements to the chef, so delicious and what great value!! We go round different places and I can honestly say this is definitely a hidden gem, we will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone, thanks for a lovely time, great service and delicious food. If there was rooms we would have stayed.😁😁

Great food and drink very friendly service

First time calling in here for some Sunday lunch. We both had the roast gammon which was lovely and tasty. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Such a cosy atmosphere inside

Fabulous pub! The food, Guinness, and service are wonderful and I enjoy going there with my family whenever I am in Ballycarry.

I can't recommend this place enough from the friendly staff to the amazing food and most importantly to us it is dog friendly from the moment we walked it we felt so at ease to be strangers in a local village bar everyone made us so welcome we both opted for the lobster and garlic fries and sweet potato fries everything was perfect we will definitely be back and a big shout out to the lovely member of staff who gave our dog sandy her favourite treat chicken thank you

Good decor and a traditional pub. Was first there as a kid over 50 years ago. It is still a favourite of mine when in the area.

Fantastic staff & great atmosphere

My boyfriend & I visited here last night for the 1st time. Our main purpose of the visit was to try out the food, we were NOT disappointed!!! Even though it was very busy ( the rugby was on) & we had a bit of a wait the staff couldn't have been more helpful & attentive. I ordered the steak which I have to say was the best I've tasted!! My boyfriend ordered the fish n chip's which he also really enjoyed. As recently moved into Ballycarry we will most definitely be back

Great spot for a pint and the staff were so friendly and looked after our puppy who was more than welcome to sit beside our table while we had lunch. Lovely big open fire and if you are lucky and it's available they have a great deal on fresh lobster caught locally. Will be back again!

A real gem of a place, traditional style country pub with friendly staff (Thanks Suzy for making us welcome), friendly local clientele, really good home cooked food.. front and side bars are dog friendly with a lovely open fire to enjoy a cold Guinness when it’s cold outside. Luna and I will return. Also an excellent stop if travelling on the way to the North Coast

Great food, we had a variety of chicken goujons and burgers, with garlic fries, sweet potato fries. Sundaes and cheesecakes for dessert. Great atmosphere to watch the rugby on a big screen. Girls serving extremely helpful and friendly. It was my birthday and they brought out a cake! Was a great way to celebrate.

We had our wedding reception here mid September and honestly, it was the most intimate, special day with fabulous home cooked tasty food and the best, most professional team organising it all for us. Tony, Judi, Katie, Calum and the whole team at Millars could not do enough for us.... in the weeks leading up to our special day they were in constant contact, ensuring everything was in order and to our liking... Judi especially put her heart and soul into arrangements, ensuring all our needs were met and that every last detail was covered. We had free reign to decorate the function room as we wished and we were looked after as if we were family throughout. All our guests said it was the best day ever and we have the most special memories. just love this bar and the family who run it. Salt of the earth. 😍❤ xx

Went to Millars tonight for the first time, we had the Lobster Special, what a meal! The food was beautiful, customer service was excellent, staff were very friendly and welcoming, we will definitely be back!

Good pub in centre of village, beer garden relaxed restaurant area or you can eat in the bar. TV for sport in bar and open fire. Good pub grub scampi delicious home made chips good steak, home made apple pie and Malteser cheesecake quality puds! Pinot grigio £ 14:50 value for money. Warm friendly atomosphere, staff excellent, they do lobster when the guys have been out fishing, ring ahead to avoid disappointment.

Lovely friendly staff and community. We was welcomed with a smile and was open and honest about advice of places to visit. My husband liked the Guinness, said it was better than home! Lobster dish was excellent value for money and tasted delicious. We will be visiting again during our holiday.

Fantastic Hospitality and atmosphere

If your are looking for the traditional Northern Irish pub, this is it, fantastic old world atmosphere, open fire, first class friendly people, amazing food, and one of the best pints of Guinness you can find.

I went with friends for dinner. The pub was great, the staff really welcoming and the food very good. I recommend it!

Delicious fish and chips, huge portions, cozy pub atmosphere, friendly locals and fast service. A bit disappointed at the rather limited menu on a Friday night (they did tell us when they passed out menus that there was no lobster available, which was why I had come to eat here) but none of the other dishes recommended here were on the menu that night. However, we were very happy with what we did have.

Fantastic friendly service, cozy wee pub A* food

We stayed in a B&B around the corner from Ballycarry after walking The Gobbins. We found Miller's Bar online, saw the menu, so drove to it. The bar has a couple of small drinking areas with sky sports & a few tables mainly used by locals, but the back room was spacious with plenty of large tables, sofa area with wood burner, dance floor & outside patio. The staff were helpful & welcoming of strangers. We were lucky enough to be there the day after they had cought their own lobster. (Apparently it's a bit scarce at the moment). I'd never tried it before so didn't know what to expect, but I didn't have to crack it mayself. It came pre-prepard in the remenants of the shell & was delicious. My husband had the 10oz sirloin with a thick, creamy pepper sauce which he throughly enjoyed. The Guinness was also top notch. 2 superb first class meals, 2 Guinness & 2 half ciders for under £40. You can't go wrong with that.

We stopped here for lunch based on the trip advisor reviews but were very disappointed. Although the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was terrible. The pizza dough was undercooked and over salted making it inedible and the chicken dippers were over fried and served with the saddest of limp side salads. I don’t like to give poor reviews but I wouldn’t recommend this place for these reasons.

Been meaning to try the lobster for a while now and finally got round to it on Saturday night. Definitely worth waiting for and wish I had tried it sooner ! Very well priced too 👍🏽
