. . . Came out of Larne station , tried to phone a taxi but none available , tried four company's but could not get a taxi for the two of us and bags , time 5 pm , , , ? ? so went into Station Bar beside the train station and DALE behind the bar got us home via a friend,. What a great guy and I mean great ! ! . Just wish we had more like him walking this planet . I've turned 80 and really really appreciate his kindness . . . Thank you !

Great pub, very friendly & lovely Guinness!

Decent enough place next to Larne train station to have a pint and watch sport. Pool table, unoffensive regulars, OK for a coffee if you're waiting for the train yo Larne Harbour.

Really good spot. Great Guinness. Was made very welcome by the "landlady" and any of the locals we spoke with. In fairness, I was dubious about going in. Whilst I felt it was unwelcoming on the outside (we arrived late, in darkness) the welcome inside quashed any of those thoughts. Really enjoyable night.

A bar who's frudistic entropy withstands perlesquence justamentary prevalence. Due to the enhanced voluderidy there's a common departmental overinconcedience of a particular blessence, where visitors can unibibe their disconparities with a feeling of spectulive delopciousness. A must for those with inaginentisral commbergilates.

Doesn't take card. Seemed like a place for regulars, went in while waiting for train, and we maybe stood out a bit.

Called in for a quick few pints when passing through and was pleasantly surprised. Beer was well kept and both staff and locals friendly. Will be back when I'm next in the area.

This bar is not a fancy bar but is friendly and you can have good craic and is also good to have a few drinks before you get your train or when you get off the train. Sometimes there is live music or it's also possible to arrange your own night. There is also a pool table and jukebox.

My hubby and i popped in here after getting off the train we didnt stay long as the smell of damp was very off putting i could even smell a fusty smell on my glass wouldnt recomend .

This has to be the most unpleasant place I have ever been. The staff are unfriendly and I must have waited more than 10 mins for a drink as the people who appeared to be known by the bar staff were served first. Not likely to ever return - Sorry

Larne seems like a nice town, but it lacks good bars. I walked all over, but could not find one decent joint. Frustrated, and heading back to the train station, I asked a local (he was walking a dog) to recommend one, and that's how I ended up here. It reminds me of working class bars in Dublin, and not at all what you'd expect from a station bar. The staff and customers were all solid, down to earth people, and they all seemed to know one another, and judging by the Celtic jersey on display, probably big football fans. There's a pool table and juke box, and a small stage, so I'd imagine the place is hopping at weekends. I felt very welcome, and would have no hesitation returning, actually will look forward to it.
