Housed in the magnificent Grand Central Hall Building along Renshaw Street is The Irish Village, a group of four pubs showcasing all that's good about the emerald isle, we recently visited Nelly Foley's Pub in the Irish Village and had a great time. The pub looks superb, pubby decor and furnishings, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport and all the Irish bric a brac adorning the walls and ceiling you would expect to find in a good Irish pub, staff here were super, so warm and welcoming, guinness was perfect and iced cold ,with the magnificent success of the vaccines all restrictions come down on the 19th of July so this pub and The Irish Village complex will be bouncing even more ,if your in the area or planning to visit Liverpool I highly recommend you visit here ,The Irish Village is easy to locate along Renshaw Street.

Great place to listen to music or watch a game. Plenty of space, many screens, good food and efficient waiters.

There are two McCooley's in Liverpool, one on Concert Square and this one in the Cavern Quarter, out of the two this one along Mathew Street is probably my favourite. A big pub set over multiple floors with multiple serving bars, pool tables, wonderful decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Mathew Street, its just a wonderful pub to chill out in. We were here on a Tuesday afternoon, pub was busy with a great atmosphere, we were here during happy hour ,10am till 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am till 2pm Friday,we got a pint of beer each from Carling Brewery ( £2.60p a pint ) amazing value for money for a city centre pub,we grabbed a table were we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our beers. My beer was excellent, a lovely lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub, it was just so good being in such a lovely bar enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to McCooley's we had a great time. McCooley's is easy to locate along Mathew Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and a major tourist destination due to its Beatles connections. Opening hours are,; Monday to Thursday, 10am till 2am. Friday & Saturday, 8am till 4am. Sunday, 8am till 3am. Well worth checking out if you're in the Cavern Quarter of Liverpool.

Arrogant manager with a sense of over importance. Red hot in there, probably because the average age in there was 60 years old. Cheap alcohol but there is a reason for it. Lager was poor. Bar staff friendly enough but with the management they have I really feel sorry for them. If you want a cheap pint and are not bothered about quality or baking then this is the place for you.
