This is a pub where customers take turns singing like karaoke. Everyone was very friendly and the owner was cheerful, so I came by chance and had a really fun time. The beer was about 3.5 pounds so it wasn't a burden. Please stop by sometime~~

McGreavey's is a decent Irish music bar on Williamson Square that offers a well priced drinks menu and is located in an area were there are a few decent bars. This bar has a nice interior with nice decor and furnishing's and great seating options both inside and outside and when we were here it was very busy.We only went here for a quick beer as we where on a bit of a pub crawl. When we visited here we had a few glasses of Guinness which where brilliant and were well priced. This is a decent enough bar on a superb square and easy to find from the bus stop's at Queen Square its a couple of minutes walk away.(This is my 2nd review of McGreavey's Irish Bar). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-Don't Know. Public Transport. Queen Square Bus Stops.

My twin brother and I were pub hopping around this part of the city when we decided to drop into McGreavy's Bar ,visit was borderline ok . The bar itself is nice ,a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, big screens to enjoy the sport, lovely decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Williamson Square. We were here on a Thursday night, pub was quiet, a group of lads in the corner and a few people outside, we ordered pints of beer from Carling Brewery, served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we settled down and planned out the night ahead while sipping our beers. The barman here was a saint ,the group of lads in the corner were beyond boisterous to the point of being a nuisance but he served them when they went up the bar even though they were a bit obnoxious, more power to his patience, we drunk up our beers ,couldn't wait to get out this pub to be honest ,I think in most any other pub in the city centre these group of lads wouldn't have got served . McGreavy's Bar is easy to locate on Williamson Square. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 11am. A good pub ,well worth checking out if the bar staff are a bit more selective who they serve.

I traveled to Liverpool from the United States to fulfill a dream of going to Anfield. The first bar we came into was the gravy. All 4 of us were Irish and could not believe the music, the karaoke and the best of Guinness we had in Liverpool. John was dead sound and made us feel at home ๐Ÿ€. A fantastic pub if you just want a few pints, or a lot of pints. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Went in here for a pint on first view not the greatest pub but more about the characters you meet and that run it. Had an absolute belter of an afternoon singing caroke. The builders were in doing a bit of work and one of them took the mic and sang shaggy and he was excellent. The DJ Dan was spot on and was very helpful. Pints were lovely. All the girls were helpful and singing aswell. Made our trip if I'm honest the craic was mighty. Will be back next time we are in Liverpool.

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub and bar hopping on a freezing cold afternoon around this part of town when we dropped into McGreavys Irish Bar and what a nice time we had. I decent looking bar ,a cool looking serving bar ,big screen for the sport and karaoki ,nice decor and furnishings and there's lots of seating both inside and outside ,it's a good bar to chill out in. We ordered and were served Carling lager ,these were served freezing cold ,we chilled out and took in the great bar we were in . Not my normal tipple ,more of a real ale and craft beer fan myself but I must say that this beer was iced cold and sparkling and very easy to drink ,it was just so good being in such a nice bar and enjoying a delicious beer. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and as on previous visits to here we had a great time. McGreavy's Irish Bar is easy to locate on Williamson Square and is well worth checking out if houren the area.

McGreavy's is a lively themed Irish bar that offers a decent range of drinks and is in an excellent area of the city centre. This bar is one of several pubs and bars in this part of the city centre and one of the liveliest. McGreavy's has a long narrow interior with many interesting fixtures and features and excellent seating options. There is a superb out-side seating area which gives excellent views of Williamson Square. I don't usually drink in bar's like this as they don't serve cask or craft beer's but it's well worth visiting if your on a pub crawl as its a very lively bar in a lively area. We visited mid-afternoon on our way to the Fall Well a Wetherspoons pub and we went here for a few beers. On our visit we had an excellent well kept lager which were served in perfect condition and well priced. If your looking for a very lively Irish bar that offers well priced drinks then give this a try you won't be disappointed. This bar is easy to locate from Queen Square bus stop its a few minutes walk.(This is my second review of McGreavy's Irish bar) Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-Don't Know. Public Transport. Queen Square bus stop.

Came here a couple of days ago. And can I just say I wouldn't bother. The seats are uncomfortable, the disabled toilet was disgusting no seat on it and p... on the floor... The worst was the dj omg the songs was rubbish he was playing, hadn't heard of half of them. When I asked him to play songs people can dance to he asked me like what!! And he didn't play 1 Christmas song. No atmosphere would not go back.

McGreavy's Sport&Music Bar is a fantastic new addition to Williamson Square a really nice square were there are many bars and pubs and restaurants. This superb bar has a nice interior with lots of interesting fixtures and features and lots of good seating areas throughout the bars interior and a superb outside terrace. This used to be Sweeney's bar which I think closed down a while ago.We visited late on in the evening and this bar was rammed as they had a karaoke night on.When we were here we had a Guinness which were served in perfect condition and were well priced.A great bar in a superb area and really easy to find from Whitechapel bus stop its a few minutes walk away.(This is my first review of McGreavy's Sport&Music Bar). Just back from a weeks holiday in Fuengirola ,from the airport my twin and I jumped the 500 bus from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Liverpool City Centre to round off our holiday visiting some of the great pubs in our wonderful city ,we found McGreavy's Irish Bar as we were walking through Williamson Square and I must say I enjoyed our visit. Housed in the former McSweeneys Bar,interior is good ,a long serving bar dominates the main room, karaoki stage area ,tv's to enjoy the sport and lots of seating inside and outside looking out onto Williamson Square and St Johns Beacon and the magnificent Playhouse Theatre . We sat outside after ordering a cider each ,cider was good ,iced cold, sparkling and bursting with taste ,it was good being sat with my twin brother Stephen enjoying a cold cider reflecting on the great Spanish holiday we had just enjoyed . We really enjoyed our visit to here before we moved on and for a first time visit to here we had a great time . McGreavy's Irish Pub is easy to locate on Williamson Square. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Housed in the magnificent Grand Central Hall Building along Renshaw Street is The Irish Village, a group of four pubs showcasing all that's good about the emerald isle, we recently visited Nelly Foley's Pub in the Irish Village and had a great time. The pub looks superb, pubby decor and furnishings, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport and all the Irish bric a brac adorning the walls and ceiling you would expect to find in a good Irish pub, staff here were super, so warm and welcoming, guinness was perfect and iced cold ,with the magnificent success of the vaccines all restrictions come down on the 19th of July so this pub and The Irish Village complex will be bouncing even more ,if your in the area or planning to visit Liverpool I highly recommend you visit here ,The Irish Village is easy to locate along Renshaw Street.
