Pub and bar hopping around this part of the city we decided to drop into Lanigans Pub Wood Street, been here before on previous occasions, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this pub, interior is superb, it's modern, a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room ,lovely decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options. We ordered a guinness each, these were poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. My guinness was absolutely superb, thick, creamy and most importantly iced cold, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our guinness in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Lanigans Pub is easy to locate along Wood Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, open from 4pm. Friday to Sunday, open from midday. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

When we visited here we had a few glasses of Guinness which where superb and really well priced.A superb Irish bar in a fantastic area of the city centre thats worth going to if your around this area.(This is my second review of Lanigan's on Wood Street). I went out for a couple of pints and thought I'd go to Lanigan's as I like the bar. I've been using it for a few years in its previous iterations. Was told by a foreign lady doing security that I couldn't go in as a single person. (I've got nothing against foreigners I have lived in four foreign countries myself). I felt I was made to feel ashamed just for wanting a drink in my home city. Absolutely disgraceful!

Pub and bar hopping around this part of the city my twin brother Stephen and I dropped into Lanigans Pub on Wood Street and what a nice 1st time visit we had. A great looking pub ,interior is superb ,an eye catching serving bar ,wonderful decor and furnishings ,big screens to enjoy the sport and lots of seating options ,it's a great pub to chill out in . We ordered a Madri beer each ,these were served in tip top condition ,we chilled out and took in the great pub we were in while sipping our beers. This beer is a relatively new comer but it seems to be everywhere at the moment ,a collaborative brew by Coors Brewery and La Sagra Brewery,it's a light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and just so easy to drink ,it was just so good being I such a wonderful pub enjoying a quality beer and sat with my twinny Stephen who is the best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to here we had a great time. Lanigans Pub is easy to locate along Wood Street and is well worth checking out of you're in the area .

This is an excellent Irish pub with a modern look and feel throughout the whole interior and brilliant lighting and excellent seating and many interesting fixtures and features relating to Ireland. We visited here on a Thursday and I think it had only just opened as we where the only two in here but it was very early. On our visit we had a few glasses of Madri an excellent lager style beer which where fantastic and price wise on a par with other pubs we had visited around this area.
