The best restaurants serving Irish food in London

I had the pleasure of visiting Paxton's Head during my stay in London in September 2024, and I have to say it was a pleasant discovery! This traditional pub offers a welcoming and authentic atmosphere, perfect for a moment of relaxation after a long day in the city. The staff is very friendly and ready to recommend excellent local craft beers, accompanied by typical dishes that truly reflect British cuisine. I really appreciated the rustic decor and the character of the place, which manages to combine the elegance of a historic pub with a modern air. An ideal environment for those who want to enjoy a good drink in company. The quality of service is really high, and the place is never too crowded, which makes the experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area and want to discover an authentic corner of less touristy London!

Un pequeño pub, típico de los edificios "construidos en estilo tudor", todos extremadamente estrechos. Sin embargo, este fue el primer pub irlandés en Londres, ¡y creo que el primero en Inglaterra en vender Guinness! !La comida es muy buena aquí (arriba en lo que se conoce como Boars Head), especialmente el pescado y las patatas fritas. .

Servicio impactante del personal y para empeorar aún más estábamos sentados arriba y vimos más de 4 ratones corriendo antes de abandonar nuestras bebidas y salir. Lugar absolutamente asqueroso

Las chicas eran muy serviciales en el control de abrigo y nos hizo sentir muy bienvenido! Fueron muy organizados y nos hicieron sentir además de eso, que íbamos a tener una gran noche!

We received great service and was made to feel welcome by all the staff. Food was fast and tasty. They have a nice little beer garden to. We recommend and I’ll be back soon.

Ordered dessert for the family as a lovely way to end Mother’s Day, oh that couldn’t be farther from what happened. Placed an online order at 7:00pm, and currently at 8:50pm still have not received it. Attempted to call and the phone hasn’t been picked up, driver said the staff are being rude to him as he’s been waiting to pick it up. 10/10 do not recommend.

Went yesterday £6.90 for a pint of Guinness! Apparently due to shortages ! Really unethical, almost criminal, don’t see how this is justifiable
