The best restaurants serving Irish food in London

I heart this place so much. The owner is a local legend who is enthusiastic about his shop. The cheeses are fab and there is a wide selection. The crackers, salamis and olives are top drawer and this is my go to local deli. There is a great brew pub next door if you are into your brews and it makes a nice 4pm round trip

I am lucky enough to work a few doors away and spotted this converted shop as soon as it opened. Service is friendly and excellent - the staff can turn multiple orders at once and deliver drinks to tables when they can. They also ‘roam’ the tables and barrels taking orders. Guinness is excellent - I imagine 80% of drinks sold are the black stuff. Decor is basic but works, lots of places to sit / stand a rest a pint.

Expectations were high, but the hospitality and quality of food at Myrtle were even greater than that. Incredibly welcoming. We loved every moment of dining at Myrtle. Thanks to Ian and everyone else.

Highly recommend this pub. We visited on Thursday lunchtime with quite a large group of adults and kids. The food was excellent and the staff were very accommodating to the chaos we brought. Beer selection is excellent. The blue cheese burger I had (BB Burger) was top tier and all the food my friends had looked great and feedback was it tasted great too. They do half price mains during the day here and have special offers on specific food Monday to Friday. E.g Burger Mondays. There was some confusion when we came to pay about the half price mains offer not being available until the 5th of Jan despite it being on all the menu's and website but the manager did allow it as we explained we had been told multiple times by staff that it was an option and some of our group had already paid with the discount applied. I'm glad common sense was applied as we were literally the only people in the pub for 90 mins from when we arrived, we spent a decent amount of money and had we been denied the discount which was basically used to get the older kids an adult meal instead of a kids meal I don't think we would have planned to come back and the reviews left would have been about a negative experience instead of a positive one. If you live locally do yourself a favour and pay them a visit.

A wonderful discovery of Irish cuisine, top quality produce cooked to perfection, definitely worth the price, and to finish off the evening they have an Irish pub downstairs with live music, an unmissable address in Shoreditch.

Cold (like a lot of places), but good atmosphere)

Had a great family reunion on Sunday and the staff were very attentive. Nice food and special mention for Ossie the barman who was very friendly and looked after us . Highly recommend.

Worked at a nearby business for over 10 years and this is our place to go when it comes to celebrations and they are always the most helpful, kind staff and go above and beyond to serve us. The food is always delicious and presented beautifully. They always surprise me with how lovely the food tastes. I literally can't express my love for this place. It is beyond a pub chain! A small venue, but nice pub. The staff were really friendly and accommodating to our group. The drinks were an average price considering the area, the beer seemed cheap. Mainly a locals pub :)

Excellent location, generous space both inside and outside. Average prices. Average food is not bad, but nothing wow. A place to drink and eat something quick is ok. Customer service is good but not homogeneous. There are two people who can improve their service by being nice and smiling. A brighter light will help this place inside, as the light is very yellow.

Best hamburger I had on my vacation. I am picky and asked for it well done. They cooked it perfectly. We came in late one night and wanted food to take to our room. They do not do takeaways, but managed to pack some food for me using the trays they use for leftovers. Very friendly staff!

I am Stall Holder in Greenwich market.. soon as you step inside Greggs at Greenwich opposite The market ..staff that remember your name i’ve been away for six weeks as I went in JO who works there big smile said hello how are Dawn she remembers straight away what I usually older. This is very rare that you go somewhere and you get greeted in such a kind way …very good team of staff they seem to look after each other. They’re always happy. good manageress and the staff seem to be there for years that says a lot nowadays five stars to them. Shelves are always filled regular very clean and tidy

Good friendly service. Reasonable price for bottled magners. A good variety of seating areas. Good food.
