Great atmosphere but can get far too busy and ram packed on the weekends it makes it hard to navigate the floors and up to the roof to smoke

Please be careful, me and my friend ordered a drink a few minutes before 10pm. We waited a while for the guy to put it through the till, once he did it was 10pm and the price was £4 more than before. Once I pointed this out to him he said the price changes after 10pm, to which i said I ordered before 10pm. Not only that but after I ordered he made my drink, then asked for my friends order, made her drink, spoke to another bar tender and only after that called us over to pay at exactly 10pm. It felt very deliberate and when i mentioned this to the manager she dismissed me completely. Be careful with ordering times in here as the staff are clearly on some form of power trip. I will certainly avoid from now on. As someone who has worked in costumer service, i’ve never seen service more scammy in my life. AVOID

The security guard didn't let us in because we had some water left in our backpack! Too bad for them we wanted to consume..., the beer was better 50 m away!!

No food but the drinks were normal and to the point. We were lucky to have a live band playing in the meantime, a very fun night out with friends!

I am very happy that they allowed me to discover this place on my first day in London. Every club was booked and someone advised me to come here because I could come without reservation. I should have gotten rid of my water bottle (no liquids are authorised inside), but of course it was worth it. The guards were so nice, protecting and polite. I visited last week and all was well until we were outside with a friend that needed to sober up. We gave her a glass of water in a plastic cup, which was subsequently taken away by the doorman quoting ‘licensing policies’. The doorman Adam who said he was the assistant manager, then proceeded to allow all my friends including the one who was needing to sober up back inside, but kept me outside because of my comment that it wasn’t right. He then changed his tone to tell me that I was in fact too drunk, though I was very calm and coherent. After about 10 minutes of me speaking to him he asked me to leave which I did calmly. I’d like to add that he and I both pointed out that he was wearing a body camera so this interaction was captured.

Very good British pub, with 3 bars and live music. Highly recommend

parth is a great manager he made our arrival to london great. oneils is a great place to meet people with a great atmosphere. it’s one of the only places on the street open late. i come to oneils every week

We went out for a friday night party, great atmosphere, different floors for different moods, live music with a great coverband, good (but a bit stiff priced) beers, and a rooftop for smokes. If you go out as a group there's a floor for everyone here.

Extra, extra tight security. I'm glad I brought I.D. with me. I'm not sure if it's because the security is very strict but I was surprised this place was so empty on a Friday night. Excellent location but lacked the party vibes that most O'Neil venues have. It took ages to be served despite being so empty.

A must go place in London. The spicy food is also nearby. You spend an afternoon and evening comfortably there It's worth it

Went here visiting London for the first time and it was so much fun. The crowd was really good and so was the music. 10/10 recommend!!

We went here to watch the football. They have a few floors with plenty screens to watch whatever they're showing. The beer was good and the service was too. I ordered some wings, just to nibble on whilst watching the footie, and they were a little on the dry side. Other than that, it's a decent pub in Soho with a rooftop smoking area.

It’s an alright place with a nice rooftop smoking area (no view), and some live music on the weekends, however the cloakroom attendant insisted on separating my inside and outside jacket, however neglected to give me separate tickets, which resulted in her turning quite nasty upon retrieving said items (without the necessary tickets, as I hadn’t received one from her, and her insisting she hadn’t made a mistake!), and calling security, who were very rude. We did end up receiving the missing item, as I managed to show them a photo of me in it, however this rather nasty end of the night unfortunately tarnished the, as a whole, positive end to the night!

Very disappointed with my visit. The security staff were extremely rude, creating a hostile atmosphere that tarnishes the pub’s reputation. The food was subpar, and they clearly don’t know how to pour a proper pint of Guinness – the head, taste, and presentation were all wrong. An awful experience, won’t be coming back.

The bouncers are rude and racists. Even if we are around 40. They didn’t wanna allow us saying we don’t have age physical proof of age that we are plus. Even phone pdf file of passport also they refused.

Decent variety of beer and cider on tap. Ground floor has a large bar, plenty of seating, and tv's to catch the game. Upper floor features a smaller bar, stage for live music, and room to dance. Cloakroom (coat check) available for £2-3 / item.

I ate at this restaurant recently and I find it simply exceptional. The Fish and Chip's is a real delight for the taste buds. I find the restaurant with an old school atmosphere and the servers are very kind and patient, thank you very much! Best wishes

I had no idea about the food or anything, I came with my parents accidentally and the band that played live made sure we had a pretty good time. They played especially well and we had a blast.

Been going there for many many years. Great place, very friendly managers, bar staff and security guys. Vast selection of beers and music pleasing every taste with dj and live bands on 2 floors. Met so many interesting people over the years.

O’Neill’s Wardour Street in Soho is a lively Irish pub known for its great atmosphere, live music, and friendly staff, especially Savan, who provides excellent service. Perfect for drinks, food, and a fun night out!

From the moment I walked in, she made me feel so welcome with her warm smile and friendly energy. Bouncers attempted to man handle my 70 year old dad when he asked for help to open his rucksack when asked for a search. We were then refused entry sworn at and the manager refused to give me details for complaint as my phone had died and walk off Merry christmas

Last night I visited this pub it was amazing fun all the staffs are great. My order is taken by Savan and his pouring skills and customer support is really excellent. I recommend to visit this place.

A little pricey but it's soho. And even on weekdays they have great live music seen here in a mon and Tuesday

For a pub with an Irish name, it completely misses the mark. They don’t play any classic Irish music or even old-school hits—it’s just the same generic club music you’d hear in any Leicester Square venue. I came here expecting a mix of good old 70s tunes, some Irish music, and a genuine Irish atmosphere, but instead, it’s just another run-of-the-mill club scene. The place is full of desperate people pretending they’re having the time of their lives. Really disappointing.

Service to get drinks took FOREVER and cost more than a decent pizza & a can of beer.

My phone was stolen in there, wouldn’t say it’s entirely the venue’s fault but the bouncers/security were aggressive to me and my friend in not letting me look for my phone after I’d left right at closing time, never experienced that reaction before

One of the worst night's out I've had in a long time. There are many nasty security staff but perhaps their behaviour is not surprising as the place is full extremely drunk guys.
