The best restaurants serving Indian food in Wales

Just moved to the area and tried this out as my first curry. Absolutely delicious food with such attentive staff and a wide selection. Will definitely be returning soon.

Absolutely love the food from Tiffin Meal, it is the highlight of my week. The chicken tikka loaded fries are some of the best things I've eaten this year so far! Everything I have tried so far is delicious!

Shirley's food is a Machynlleth institution and not to be missed. Make sure you check the ordering details on the website in plenty of time though!

Having heard some positive comments from friends decided to book a table to try the Sunday Special (Sunday 3rd March). On arriving was made very welcoming by the attentive staff and the restaurant itself was very well lit and spotlessly clean. The food was fantastic, well presented and well worth the money. Just a note for anyone wishing to book a table as it doesn't have a liquor licence, its therefore a "Brink Your Own" (BYO) for any alcoholic drinks, which from eating at other BYO restaraunts in the past would expect a small corkage charge to be levied. Will put "East Meets West" on my to revisit list.

Honestamente la comida hermosa más auténtica. Mis hijos 7 y 4 disfrutaron de toda la comida! Les encantó probar todos los platos diferentes. Tan diferente y mucho más que tu casa de curry promedio. Personal muy amable. Increíble sabor y opciones para probar que están fuera de este mundo junto con consejos de qué combinaciones se complementan y cómo probar nuevas delicias. Hemos vuelto una y otra vez y como familia se ha convertido en nuestro lugar favorito. Muy recomendable.

Excellent food and service. Would highly recommend. But apparently 1st June was their closing night. Which is an absolute shame as the food, atmosphere and staff were amazing. So glad we got to try the food at least once.

I’ve had about 5 takeaways from here and I have never tasted food so tasty, every meal I’ve had has been delivered either on time or earlier and the quality of food is second to none, all I can say the chef here is absolutely amazing so if you want an absolute fab meal Get ordering 😊

Sad news to hear that Mo will be shutting down in early March 2020. Mo is the best Indian takeaway and delivery around. Amazing curry's and the friendliest of Mo men. Stay open Mo. Get yourself on Facebook if you need more custom and advertise you deliver as I only found out you delivered in the last year. Everything's good. Do a leaflet drop including you delivery and you will be fine. Would recommend to everyone in Griff, Sebastapol, Panteg and New Inn as its by far the best in the local area.

Suarez makes the best kebabs - not just in Caernarfon, not just in North Wales, but probably in the whole world. The bread is the best bit - home made and cooked in front of you - and far better value than anywhere else. A must visit.

Dined in at the Raj this evening for a meal, I will be definitely returning to have more food there, Their curries where very delicious and full of flavour, couldn’t put a bad word to it, Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend going there 👍🏻

Been in multiple times since lock down after previously visiting the Caerleon store. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The selections of fillings for your wrap / sandwich / salad is amazing too. Super helpful with my dietary requirements. The range of salad fillings is amazing too, including couscous, sun-dried tomatoes and olives. The portion sizes are incredible. I'd highly recommend the ham salad, Falafel and hummus or the onion bhaji and mango chutney. The brownies on offer are great too, tried to vegan one in Caerleon which is great hopefully in the future more dairy free options are added. Would eat lunch here everyday if I could

The halal restaurant had a great homey feel with a wide range of traditional street foods and an assortment of the classic and modern sweet treats. The girls went for a proper desi sunday brunch and were not disappointed. The puri were hot and light (not greasy), the chana was nicely seasoned and flavourful and the hawla was well balanced. The uncles were attentive, welcoming and provided great service. We will inshallah hope to come back in the future.

We placed a large takeaway order on the Sunday of the bank transfer holiday weekend. When we arrived to collect the food was ready and the staff were friendly and patient whilst I sorted out the payment by cash. The food was still very hot when we had travelled 20 minutes back to our campsite! It was absolutely delicious and we all enjoyed it. I'd highly recommend this takeaway 😊
