Rating 1/5. We had a disappointing experience at Zaazu. While the starters were nice, the mains were terrible—under-seasoned, poorly cooked, and took over an hour to arrive. We felt unwelcome, with the staff showing little interest, especially toward South Asian customers. Despite the restaurant's supposed high standard, the service was far below expectations. They kept asking if we wanted drinks on several occasions when all we wanted was our food. The manager didn’t care when we raised concerns, and the portion sizes, like the £16 Tandoori Chicken, were small for the price. Overall, a frustrating experience—better off dining elsewhere!

Wanted Saturday night takeaway and opted for Indian which we hadn’t had for a while. I googled the local restaurants that deliver and found this soooo reasonably priced, and having eaten here a few times knew the food’s excellent. It worked out £11 each with free delivery, for 3 mains, 2 chips, 1 naan, poppadom & chutney which was much cheaper than competitors. Easy website, paid online, quick delivery and very enjoyable eating!!

This review is for a take away only, had a stunning Chicken Tandoori balti, however it came in a small plastic container and wasn't even full, also no complimentary poppadoms or salad as all other restaurants in Coleshill do.Thats why only 3 star

We were visiting the NEC for the day and staying in the town over night, we walked in without a reservation around 8pm and they were packed. Luckily they were able to find us a table after a little wait. The menu is extensive and tempting, we opted for just popadoms and main courses, which was a good move considering the sizes of the main portions are crazy! They are huge. The food was hot when served and remained the same whilst we were eating. The flavours were incredible and it was one of the nicest curry’s we have had for a very long time. The service was a little slow, but they were busy, so I can’t hold that against them. Visiting from down south, we a pleasant shock when we got the bill, as the cost was considerably lower than it would have been at home. A great meal, lovely food and at a great price. Highly recommended

Update Nov 24: another fantastic curry and excellent service. ---------- It is an excellent place with great tasting food and excellent service. The tables have plenty of space around them, so you have a really nice comfortable environment to chat and eat. Food is really tasty and authentic and well presented. It is unlicensed, so bring your own alcohol and they will bring you a glass. East enough to park out the front, too.

Went as a family and had great food - enjoyed 3 different dosas and shakshuka paneer, all delicious. Friendly service too.
