I’d like to thank Raj and his whole team for the service and fantastic food for my partners 60th the function room held 18 off us all hungry, plus a busy restaurant with lots off folks eating, we was all was served promptly with hot delicious food, my partner really enjoyed her evening and her family have all promised to visit on there own, thanks was a fantastic evening

Unbelievable food, absolutely delicious, great friendly service, some friendly customers for us as visitors also. A great find. From popadoms to lovely fresh starters of samosas, shashlik, crispy chicken with sweet chilli sauce and chicken chat, to amazing main meals with plenty of chicken, plenty of sauces and fresh naan breads. Would definitely return if back visiting the area.

Always gets it right, food is amazing. Staff are friendly and attentive. My family came from Australia and the 1st thing they wanted to do is go the ranjarani. The best restaurant. The only issue they need a bigger venue as it’s a bit cramped

Having dined at many Indian restaurants over the years, I wasn’t expecting to find Rajrani to be my new favourite after giving them a try! I tried the Chicken Tikka Dupiaza Balti, which was absolutely beautiful! They were happy to make it extra spicy on request too. I honestly couldn’t fault either the service or food and cannot wait to return with more friends and family in the future x

This curry house is absolutely AMAZING the customer services is incredible Josh does everything he can to make sure you are happy! I have never had a bad meal here will always be my number one thank you for the incredible service and food 1000/10 :)

Meal with friends, really good meal. Great service, friendly waiters and wonderful food. Onion bahjee followed by chicken naga and vegetable rice with a garlic naan. All first class - hot, tasty and highly recommended. My Asian friend agreed which is a rarity as he is spoiled by great home cooked meal by his wonderful wife. Looking forward to my next visit Thank you.

We have been a few times before and always had good food , this time however midweek the manager overheard it was my wife’s birthday and presented us with two complimentary drinks ( may I add not cheap drinks) It was such a nice gesture for just a table for two and not a big earner . Actions like this and the constant level of food quality is why this place is so highly rated 👍🏻

The staff are very friendly and professional. Food was fantastic and the restaurant very clean. We met some local people who dine here regularly which is understandable due to the high standards all round. 5 stars thoroughly deserved.

This was my first visit to the Rajrani and it certainly didn't disappoint. We turned up without a booking and the restaurant was really busy but we were given a table after a few minutes wait. The poppadoms were really fresh and the selection of dips and spiced onions were amazing. Shami kebab to start which again was one of the best I have tasted. I have lived away from Birmingham for 28 years and whenever I come back I always have to have a proper balti. I ordered a chicken tikka balti and the taste took me straight back to when I was younger. Big pieces of chicken and the balti sauce was so good, helped along with a kemma naan which again was cooked fresh and so tasty with the melted butter. Josh the owner and his family and staff who work there are so friendly and the complimentary baileys topped off an excellent night. Highly recommended and will definitely be back next time I'm back in Birmingham.

Absolutely fantastic across the board There were a few Indian restaurants to choose from in Coleshill and all looked nice, but so glad we chose Rajrani. The food was all wonderful and they catered for our friend’s food allergies with no problems or fuss. We all had poppadoms + 2 courses, a variety of vegetarian, lamb and fish dishes, which were delicious, fresh and beautifully spiced, without being overtly ‘hot’. Even the wine was way better than we would usually expect at an Indian The atmosphere was super friendly and buzzy; the service was excellent- always on point but never over the top. For what we had we all thought the price (c £40 pp incl service) was outstanding value The evening was even topped off with a complimentary drink each - an incredibly generous gesture. Suffice to say it was so good that the following night - after a long day at Crufts- we went back again, and it was just as good-if not better - the second time round

They fitted us in as we were only in Coleshill one night. Went to local pub The Green Man to wait and we’re not disappointed ( in either!) Menu really interesting and the service really friendly- food was just delicious and if any left over you can get it boxed to take home! Thank you so much 😊

Belated valentines meal due to work commitments and as the restaurants in Atherstone aren’t so great decided to go a little further afield and this place has good reviews. The restaurant itself is very small with very little room to move between tables, the other half joked he could easily take the food from the table next to us. This also meant having the backside of a waiter in your face when they were serving said table. However the food was nice and the other half went as far as saying that his pathia was one of the best he’d had in a long time! I had a Balti and nan both lovely and fresh and a large serving which makes a change, I couldn’t eat all of mine and ended up bringing half home. Staff were attentive but maybe a little too much as it didn’t appear to be one waiter to a table and we were asked the same questions more than once. They were all pleasant though so it was fine. Not much in the way of vegetarian dishes however whereas many restaurants have a vegetarian section this just had sides and a few veg options mixed in with the other meals. Maybe they would have cooked something up had I asked them? I don’t know. It was definitely a place I’d return to so maybe next time I’ll ask.

Delicious food and good value but a little disorganised with their booking diary. We visited on a Saturday night and had booked ahead. There was a big group ahead of us who had to sit at two tables due to a mix up in bookings and we had to wait a while to be seated. But the food was worth the wait!

I dined in here Friday 12/1/23 after a few drinks with my friend in the evening. I’ve not been here in a long time since moving away from the area. 5 star food and service! this place would be hard to beat everything was perfect. Food was amazing and the portion sizes were so generous ( unlike most curry houses) even the balti bowls here are extra large! The staff were very polite and accommodating. The decor is very nice and modern and the atmosphere was lovely, think they were playing an acoustic play list with some love songs which was good and lovely for couples. And even though we were two girls/friends we enjoyed this music. Would definitely visit again soon and highly recommend for others. Thank you

This is the 3rd visit for us, and as good as ever. Great food, and staff always attentive and friendly. I had the chicken/mushroom and spinach balti - absolutely fabulous. The rest of the team had various curries from tikkk masala to lamb desai, to ginger chicken - all outstanding. We all took take out food as well, the chicken pakora is superb. All in all - a great way to start the New Year - will be going again v soon

I've been to this restaurant three times now and it's really good. It's a proper old school local Indian restaurant with very friendly staff and good service. The food is always great. There's a nice atmosphere and for big parties it fits the bill perfectly.

Great little restaurant with some very high quality food. All a bit spoiled by one very grumpy and rude server (who seemed to be the one taking everyone’s orders). He was the only server with a poor grasp of English, the rest were superb, and he was rude and barked at people. Slightly bizarre to have the rudest grumpiest person taking orders.

Good reviews on here so gave it a go. Quite small restaurant, nice decor and warm welcome. Wanted something on the simpler side, so had veggie starter which was pleasant. Fancied something I’d make at home for main, rice and tarka dhal. Seems if you want this as your main you have to have too large a portion and the price is double. Dhal was quite bland if not unpleasant, but totally missing the tarka as tempering, hence no depth of flavour and blandness. Paying the bill there was a compulsory service charge which I didn’t see mention of on the night or on the website prior to typing this. Seems the drinks have increased in price compared to the website menu too. If you’re going to upsell and add to costs in a hidden way, make sure everything is first class and there would be no kickback. As it is I cannot think I’d return, having been hoodwinked.

From the minute we sat down to the minute we left the restaurant, the service from all staff was amazing!! Food was to die for. The owner Josh really was very passionate about what he does and offered us various different foods to try. For him his sole purpose was to make sure we enjoyed our meal rather than to make money! This was a short trip for us from London and we decided to go to Rajrani for dinner, so glad we made the right decision to go here!! Definitely recommend!! You will not be disappointed.

Food and drinks were absolutely fine as always but what I really want to commend is the honesty of the staff , after paying my bill and leaving the premises to walk home a young waiter ran down the road to find me and give me £40 I had dropped on the floor as I left . So refreshing to be reminded there are still some honest genuine people out there . All I can offer is my thanks and my continued custom .

From the moment we arrived it was clear just how much the staff believed in their restaurant - one was even outside polishing the front! My husband eats here when away on business. Picked this place from a list of restaurants near to where we are staying for a couple of days. The reviews attracted us and the place did not disappoint.Its a small restaurant but the service was very good and the food was excellent.It was very busy and it was clear that many of the customers were on return visits.The manager took the time to speak to us and thank us for our custom and offered us a complimentary drink as well.All in all, a visit is highly recommended if you want a good Indian meal in a nice venue.

Visited the restaurant with friends twice during the last week. We all said it was one of the best Indian restaurants we have ever dined in. The food was top quality and the staff were fantastic. As i have always said, this is by far the best Indian restaurant in Coleshill without a doubt. Never had a bad one. I would like to eat in soon again but with a 3 year old its finding the time, so we usually opt for a takeaway. We had one last night and my partner said it was beautiful. She had the chicken Byriani. I had Bhuna special and that was lovely.The only criticism i would add is that there wasn't enough king prawns. Plenty of chicken and lamb but i had only one king prawn throughout my dish. When a chicken Bhuna is nearing £8 but you pay nearly £14 for a special, i would expect at least 3 king prawns in my dish. This isnt the first time i have experienced this with the lack of prawns when paying extra for it. Other than that the food is spot on. Have a word with your chefs guys to even the portions out.Unfortunately ive gave it 4 stars this time but could have been 5 based on this reason.Maybe next time if you listen. Ive prompted you before about this but doesnt seem to have sunk in.

For the first time since having Our baby boy myself and my partner went out for a meal . We wasn’t disappointed. The overall warm and friendly atmosphere welcomes you in. Covid measures were taken throughout our visit . Staff were super lovely ! Customer service 11/10. The food was also outstanding . We ordered a lot but it was worth every single penny . at the end of our meal they treated us to a complimentary baileys with made our night . Thank you so much for the amazing evening . My family and I have been eating from this restaurant since the day it opened 17 years ago and just had another fantastic meal from them this evening, the food and service is simply outstanding, if you haven’t tried Rajrani Coleshill please give it a go you will not regret it and only then will you see why it’s been voted the number 1 in Coleshill on trip advisor for years.

We had a meal delivered this evening and thoroughly enjoyed our food. The food was delicious and the servings were very generous. Delivery was prompt and secure. Excellent value and very satisfying.

Just had a delivery delivered 30th Jan. Lamb king prawn balti. Chick sag. Egg fried rice. Mushroom rice. Chips and pesh naan. Oh my..... what a fantastic meal. The lamb was that tender i could have chewed it with my lips. Everything was cooked to perfection. Absolute delight. Clearly BEST indian in Coleshill. Have said this a while and will continue to use other than anywhere else. 10 out of 10!!!!!!! Cheers guys keep it up. Superb. Ferndale!!!!

I have reviewed this restaurant before but feel the need to let people know again just how AMAZING it is! First meal since December 2020 & obviously a takeout due to current situation, but food piping hot & on time! Plenty of food and so tasty as always. Under normal circumstances we would sit in & receive great service as well as everything already mentioned, can’t wait to be able to this again! But for now this has to be the best Indian in the West Mids & definitely suggest you give it a try!
