We had our first delivery last Saturday night since the restaurant has changed hands from the Curry Garden to The Darjeeling Tandoori. It was absolutely fab, so we have just ordered and eaten our 2nd delivery tonight. Really, really lovely. We highly recommend this restaurant. 👌

The food is really fresh and tasty. Lots of dishes to choose from and really attentive customer service. Everything is reasonably price to include in the wine !

We visited tonight for the first time after deciding to go out instead of using the same takeout for 20 years. We decided on Darjeeling as it is within walking distance and I have heard a few mums at the school talking about it. Food was absolutely beautiful. My husband is a fussy one with a curry but he said walking home that the the freshest curry he has ever eaten. We had mix grill & samosa for start followed by 2 chicken tikka jalfrezi, special rice and pilau, onion Bhaji, Bombay aloo, keema nan &peshwari nan. Every single item was cooked to perfection. My only criticism is now that I am home I wish I had ordered the coconut ice cream but couldn’t physically eat anymore at the time. I will have to come back next week and wear my stretchy trousers! We was given a complimentary drink after, whisky and Tia Maria. I didn’t even know I liked tia maria but it was lovely. Everything was fresh and nothing was greasy at all which is amazing as I cannot stand having to skim oil of my curry. After 20 years loyal to our favourite Indian restaurant, a 2 hour meal has converted us. Thank you! Another plus is I haven’t had to eat 10 rennies which tells me the food isn’t swimming in oil! I will be coming along with the school mums very soon xx Thank you

Came here with my husband and 2 young children on a Tuesday evening. We were excited to try this new restaurant and we left very happy and impressed! The food was 10/10 and cooked so well! A BIG compliment to their chef as we over ordered thinking we would take some home after but we were so impressed we ate everything even though we were so full. The food was delicious and I can’t wait to return.

We visited last night as a party of 5 and were seated at a lovely round table, great for chatting and catching up. Service is really friendly from the whole team. Drinks, poppadoms, starters and mains were all delivered in a timely fashion and were delicious. The Manager suggested dishes to both myself and my husband as we like to eat based on recommendations. I had the salmon masala, which was delicious. The prices for both food and drink were very reasonable, we had a lovely evening and will return.

Rating 1/5. We had a disappointing experience at Zaazu. While the starters were nice, the mains were terrible—under-seasoned, poorly cooked, and took over an hour to arrive. We felt unwelcome, with the staff showing little interest, especially toward South Asian customers. Despite the restaurant's supposed high standard, the service was far below expectations. They kept asking if we wanted drinks on several occasions when all we wanted was our food. The manager didn’t care when we raised concerns, and the portion sizes, like the £16 Tandoori Chicken, were small for the price. Overall, a frustrating experience—better off dining elsewhere!
